I remember reading this when it first aired on Webtoon. Fell in love with it then and re-fell in love with it again. Good story with great characters to flesh out.

Clove is a princess who bears the azure dragon. Kyro is a prince who bears the crimson dragon. Together they hope to end a 300-year war. This book contains the first three parts of what is already becoming a very enthralling story. Clove comes from a small kingdom where she rules as a princess alongside her uncle who has been caring for her since her mother's death. She comes to meet Kyro by way of his sister who went to the azure kingdom to form a treaty and decided to convince clove to marry Kyro to secure the alliance between the kingdoms and end this war. This is gearing up to be an enemies-to-lovers story in all the right ways. You can sense the romantic tension between the two, but both are also very stubborn.
So far we can see why Kyro is having trust issues. His council and mother are both plotting to use him for their own means. His sister seems to be doing whatever she can to keep him safe and urge him to trust clove as an ally.
Clove is having some internal struggles, figuring out her feelings and coping with her past.
Clove is a dragon who cant shift from her form to her dragon form, Kyro realizes this when he sees her markings. However when he consults with his crimson dragon in the dream state, "Red" implores him to look past the faded marks as she "has fangs" and is as dangerous as he is.
Im really looking forward to the next installment. I want to see the two of them come together to break the barriers that they both have down and bring the people of both kingdoms together to end a war that has took so much from all of them.
Thank you @OniPress !

It took me a minute to finish this one, but only because I got distracted by my physical copies of books and I only had this digitally. But it was soooo good!!! I was interested from the start with Clove being betrothed to Kyro in order to stop the current war, which has been going on for some time. The characters are volatile together and it’s so much fun reading each of their scenes that they have together. Especially that first one!!! So exciting!!
I also love the dragon aspect of the graphic novel as it’s very interesting and unique. I also have a soft spot for Zephyr and Aaron. I love Kharis too because she’s so fierce!!! I definitely don’t like Kirra, but maybe I just don’t know her well enough yet. Otherwise, I thought almost all the characters were fun and intriguing to read about.
And the art is so fabulous!!! The colors and attention to detail just about did me in!! It’s seriously a gorgeous read and I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to pick it up!! Each character is beautiful in their own way and the scenery is lovely as well.
I highly recommend this to graphic novel lovers who enjoy dragons, slow burn romance, and passion. Lots of wonderful passion!! This story will hook you and have you yearning for the next installation in the series.

In a last attempt at peace, Clove, the last princess of a near-extinct Dragon clan, is forced into a political marriage with an enemy Prince. Sacrificing herself for the well-being of her country.
The Azure dragon clan has been at war with the Crimson dragon clan for the last 300 years, and unfortunately for the Azure dragons, they are losing. Its territory has been devastated by constant conflicts, its people are starving.
An arranged marriage between Prince Kyro of the Crimson dragons clan and Princess Clove of the Azure dragons seems to be the solution, but will it be?
Political interests and personal vendettas get in the way of the long-awaited peace and both Princess Clove and Prince Kyro must play their cards well because although they hold the titles of Prince and Princess, the truth is that they do not have the necessary power or influence, so they must look for allies.
But how to know who they can trust? How to make sure the people around them are friends or foe?
And socio-political issues aside, there's the fact that for better or worse, Kyro and Clove are married, so they must know and find a way to get along.
What could possibly go wrong…? A lot of stuff, let me tell you.
This is the first volume of the webtoon comic of the same name and covers the first 25 chapters in its print version, but on the webtoon platform the comic is already in its 190+ chapter, which is great!
Thanks to Netgally and Oni Press for this excellent ARC. It's a great story involving political turmoil and a beautiful love story between enemies. And let's do not forget the artist's magnificent skills.

I absolutely loved this!
I found the story intriguing, two clans being at war for over 300 years with plans to end the war by bringing the Crimson Prince and the Azure Princess together in matrimony. Of course, not everyone is happy with this plan.
Then the art is amazing. Each page, each panel was a thing of beauty. I really loved the design of the dragons.
I finished this in a day and cannot wait for the next one!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I enjoyed this book and think you will to.

This one grabbed my attention after I read Fourth Wing but also a Manga fan. Plus a red haired MFC, YES absolutely. The characters do not like each other, I would not say entirely enemies to lovers, but haters to lovers. You have two stubborn MCs, and living in a world where choices are more controlled on outcomes versus what they desire, does not mean eventually they do not find them among the pushed choices. The art style is absolutely gorgeous you have the vivid color choices, and the writing is not overly draw out but put more details in the art. Definitely draws you in, and the story line is what sinks you further. I would highly recommend, and it was a great more mature read. Not too childish, it was honestly perfection.

Thank you NetGalley and Oni press for this arc!
There are dragons!
The story starts from classic webtoon premises but breaks away from the usual tropes to delve more into wordbuilding and palace dynamics.
The adaptation on paper is really appreciable.
The volume is really introductory to the series and you definitely have to keep going to get into the heart of the story.
I hope the protagonist evolves in the following volumes because for me it was the negative point of the story.
The idea of the dragons and how they are narrated are splendid.

ARC received by Netgalley for honest review.
Overall I would say that I’m not the target audience for this so it fell a bit flat for me. I would have enjoyed it more as a teenager. As an adult I feel like I’ve seen this same story before, it doesn’t feel fresh. I would have liked more worldbuilding such as the origin of the two dragon rivals. I assume that will come in later volumes.
The plot did start to get more complex in the later part of the story which is good.
I did like that it had Zutara vibes but I didn’t like the male main character, Kyro, because he was so rude and arrogant. Clove, the protagonist, was quite bland and uninteresting to me.
I could tell a lot of time went into the art and the composition of the panels looks professional and good. However, the faces look a bit “off” in some panels, especially when drawn in profile.

This was dream to have one of my favorite webtoons as an actual graphic novel. I read every webtoon from this series and can tell you that that action, drama, angst and love is all throughout this volume. Definitely recommend!

This graphic novel is so good! The art is stunning and the story has me hooked. I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to see what unfolds in vol 2!

I am definitely going to be buying this whole series!
Pros:
Artwork is gorgeous.
Characters have lots of fun and memorable interactions.
Willpower based magic (with awesome visual effects).
Lots of mystery and plot threads.

3.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’ve always wanted to read this on WEBTOONs but never got around to it,so I’m very thankful to NetGalley and Oni Press for giving me this arc in exchange for my honest review!
I don’t usually read this genre of books so I was thrilled with how much I enjoyed this! Who doesn’t love a good enemies to lovers? The artwork and color go so beautifully together, I couldn’t put this down!
I’m definitely going to be on the lookout for volume two!

Sweet and innocent girl marries a bad boy. Nothing new here. So far there's barely any magic in it. Although I am curious to dragons' nature tbh.
It's a cheesy and goofy enemies to lovers romance. It has its moments although sometimes characters behave as if they are 15 and not thinking. I sadly can't talk much about the plot without spoiling. But there's some predictable but nonetheless juicy stuff here.
There's also greed and selfishness and skeletons in closets. I really like that that servants seem to gossip so much. Sometimes nobles forget servants do talk to each other and maybe their enemy has a spy or two among them.
I don't know if I'll continue with the series. It's neither great nor terrible. Thank you Netgalley and ONI press for providing me with free ARC in exchange for an honest review

I am not aware of the genesis of this story, but I enjoyed the first volume in graphic novel form quite a bit and look forward to reading the sequel.
Non sono a conoscenza della genesi di questa storia, ma il primo volume in forma di graphic novel mi é piaciuto parecchio e non vedo l'ora di leggere il seguito.
I received from the Publisher a complimentary digital advanced review copy of the book in exchange for a honest review.

This was so fun! It was my first book by Junepurr and it will not be the last. I cannot wait to read Volume 2!

Oni Press provided an early galley for review.
This collection of the beginning of this Webtoon is absolutely goregeous. The art, to me, is a mix of East and West, of anime and Disney, with such vibrant colors that pull the reader into this world a mysticism and mystery.
The story has plenty of relationship drama, palace intrigue and political positioning. While I am unsure where the plot will end up, the ride is an interesting one. I am looking forward to future volumes in the series. Highly recommended for anyone who like romantic fantasy.

There are no words rich enough to fully describe subzero in all its glory. The characters are tantalizing from lovely and spirited Clove who is forced to marry her sworn enemy, the handsome smoldering but cunning prince Kyro, Kyro younger sister Kharis, Aaron and Nouren. I love them all. The cast is fantastic. And the Tory is sweeping. Get ready to swoon. Because all this gorgeous artwork is just the icing on a masterful delicious cake of storyline. As the Azure dragon, Clove is coveted for her status, her stunning beauty and her power but she hide a secret that could be very dangerous to herself and her kingdom. By contrast Kyro, the handsome Crimson dragon is a catch and then some but strongly guards his heart against his betrothed and anyone else who might come close to him after suffering a devastating loss in his past. Can these two , thrown together, find a way past thei ancient grudge of their houses to discover a soul mate in one another or are they destined by the plotting of their own houses and their painful pasts to betray and destroy each other? Only time will tell! You must read this! It’s amazing!

Still a phenomenal manga. Junepurrr has lovely writing and the art is lovely. Can't wait for the publisher to release the next chapters.

My thoughts: I was interested in getting into more graphic novels, and I was super excited to get approved for this one. The art was beautiful, so many details and the MMC was perfect 😍 As for the plot, the fmc was strong and spoke her mind and even in times she would seem not so graceful, she still stood strong and did what she had to. I really liked her dynamic with the mmc and I’m looking forward to seeing how their relationship grows. I’m a sucker for arranged marriage especially when it’s enemies to lovers. This was mostly world building and character introductions, but it ended on a bit of a cliffhanger , and I’m so looking forward to the next episodes. If you’re a fan of webtoon, epic tales of fantasy, dragons, arranged marriage, and enemies to lovers, I’d suggest starting this series 😊
