This was a pretty good book. I loved the beginning but lost interest in the middle for a bit before loving it again. I also enjoyed the narrator and that she was easy to listen to and understand.

Bad Men by Julie Mae Cohen is wicked! A satirical, entertaining read about women with power. Loved! Thank you to Netgalley and RB Media for the ARC.

A little campy, a little creepy, very intriguing. This was a good read! I kept coming back to for more!

This book is just not what I look for in reading. Billed as a "feminist serial killer" book, it just really seems like the series "Dexter" rebranded. A serial killer taking the "moral" high road, and only killing those that "Deserve" to be killed. It just didn't strike me as more well written than Dexter, and I already have experienced that series.

I didn't love the characters, although I realize that was the point. It was just something that I couldn't get past, and when I don't care about the characters or what happens to them, it really makes me not want to read the book. This book may appeal to some, but at this time in my life, it did not appeal to me.

Thank you to the author, publisher and Net Galley for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I had a reeeeeally hard time with this one. The premise sounded great. The cover is captivating. The execution? A total bellyflop. I did not resonate with the characters at all. I loved the premise of this feminist main character but where was the follow through? We got nothing from her. This was a big nothing burger in my opinion. Unfortunately did not like much about this at all. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This book was a DNF for me. I got to 30% and decided it was not for me. Hopefully it will be a good fit for someone else!

Interesting premise and started out really fun, but I felt like the MC kinda lost herself when she met the love interest. it was a sudden change in personality and it didn’t really click with me. enjoyed the audio narrator though

It has an interesting premise with well-developed, and sometimes stereotypical characters. Despite this, I found the book to be lacking in that it didn’t quite all come together.

Thank you to NetGalley and RB Media who provided me with a copy of this book. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

This book was so much fun, twisty and something a bit different I really enjoyed!! Playful and still mysterious with a twist you probably would not see.

The narrator Nathalie Buscombe does a FABULOUS job she saved the audiobook for me and her voice made the book come alive. Bad Men. seels itself as a feminist serial killer book, and it was much more of a serial killer romance Jonathan is a fantastic "straight man" and Saffy's batshit crazy. The story itself was good and entertaining to listen to. While I saw all the twists coming that didn't detract from my enjoyment. It was fun to hear that I was right in my predictions. I do kinda wish Jonathan questioned Saffy a little more because that girl was a walking red flag and he only saw one of them. It's a fun twist on thrillers by putting you in the POV of someone who would normally be one of the antagonists. While I didn't like her Saffy was still fun. I just kinda wish she didn't talk like she just googled feminism and was trying to say all the buzz phrases throughout the book.

We've all come across bad men, but not like this. The gripping intrigue, dramatic crescendo and well written plot make this an enjoyable read.

I had to DNF this book because of the sensitive nature of the trauma the main character hints at in the beginning.

Thank you for this arc of Bad Men by Julie Mae Cohen.

I’m not sure if this just hit me at a bad time and I couldn’t get into it, but I just could not connect with this story as a reader and dnf’ed at 17%. The premise sounded so promising and interesting however it was boring and I couldn’t bring myself to come back to it in time. Perhaps I will attempt to read in the future.

I was invested straight from the start. I liked this book a lot! Suspense was high, I cared about the characters. I felt like the ending could have focused a bit more on the protagonist, I liked her journey and hoped to have a bit more punch packed in there. I appreciated the subtlety and letting her get away with murder, but it would have been so satisfying to have more emphasis on her escape or having the love interest find out about her murderous streak. Overall, still loved it.

This book's got a wicked twist on the whole serial killer genre, following Saffy, a posh lady who moonlights as a vigilante murderer with a taste for bad dudes. Things get messy when she falls for a true-crime podcaster who suddenly finds himself in hot water over a murder he swears he didn't do. It's a darkly funny, page-turning ride that mixes up romance, thriller, and a dash of social commentary

We love a feminist thriller! This was a fun story even if it was a bit predictable! A dark humorous book following a serial killer who is hoping for a happy ending.

Bad Men is a great book for these times. I have read quite a few female serial killer books recently and this one is top tier. The story is engaging. The narrator does a great job.

I really enjoyed this book. I thought there would be more killing and a bit of a dark romance. It wasn't, but the book was still amazing and captivating. It's my first book by this author, but will definitely read more. Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC of the book.
