When I first started this book, I had to do a double take and reread the summary of it because at first I thought I was reading the wrong book. But once I got into it, it made more sense. The first part of the book is a bit slow but it definitely picks up. It kept me interested until the end.

The one thing that bothered me was the dialogue between the characters. It seemed like conversation between awkward teenagers instead of adults. Other than that I enjoyed the book and the ending…I did not see that coming. I’m still thinking about that ending, it was fabulous!

Love! This one had all the right thriller elements. I loved the pace and how out there the story was. The right amount of suspense and the characters are great.

I’m torn here. There are pieces of this story that are good. However, it’s a *very* slow burn and just didn’t grab my attention until almost the very end. It’s partly….well, mostly because the main character, Eve, is such an idiot. I don’t like to be mean, but I feel like if she had an ounce of sense, she would have left the very first day! I understand that she didn’t have any family or prospects, but I think she should have been able to sense the high level of danger, *especially* since there are allusions to her intelligence throughout. Okay, so USE that intelligence and get the H out of there! So many bafflingly stupid decisions were made. I might try another book by this author, but I have to rate this one a 3, and in my mind, that’s not a great rating.

I usually love this type of story. Eve’s alone in the world. She’s desperate. She makes a deal with the devil without realizing things aren’t what they seem..

After a strong start, the plot totally went off the rails. The story seemed to meander along as if there was no plan for how it would wrap up. I thought the pacing was off, the dialogue was clunky, and the main character made one dumb decision after another. By the end, it was so far fetched and ridiculous that I was in a permanent eye roll.

I flew through this book and was surprised at every turn. I wasn't a huge fan of how naive the main character was and she put herself in some wild situations. However, when you find yourself completely alone, homeless, broke, and pregnant.. I'd imagine there isn't much you wouldn't do.

This had everything I want in a book and kept me wanting more. Highly recommend.

No One Will Know was a fast-paced book and very captivating, making you want to continue reading to find out what on earth is going on. While I did enjoy the experience, some of the story line did not feel complete to me. Characters you meet at the beginning have incomplete stories, you feel as though it will come back up later but it just doesn't. Other parts of the story just feel disconnected and far-fetched. I kept reading thinking "it will all make sense in the end" and it just didn't come together like that for me. That being said, I did love the style of writing and at no point did I think that I didn't want to see the story through to the end. I would read other stories by this author.

No One Will Know is a gripping read from the very first page. Rose Carlyle is an amazing writer who balances amazing plot development with characters that absolutely pop off the pages. Eve is a beautifully written character, a rolling stone that has gathered no moss but so endearing that the reader connects with her. While the writing is seamless and the plot moves so quickly in the most alluring manner, the twists and turns just keep coming! I absolutely had idea who to trust or where the story was going; all I did know is that I did not want to put this one down!

I really enjoyed "No One Will Know" by Rose Carlyle. This is her sophomore novel and it is just as good as her debut novel. Keep me hooked.

There’s not much I can say about the plot without giving away spoilers, so I will just say a woman is hired to be a nanny for a wealthy family, but nothing is what it seems.

Something about this author’s writing style pulled me in from the 1st page. I really enjoyed the whole story. There was a lot going on. A lot of mystery, heartbreak, and violence.

I enjoyed the ending a lot. It was action packed. Highly recommend. I will definitely read more of this author’s books.

When I found out that the author of "Girl in the Mirror" had written another twisty thriller, I didn’t even read the blurb; I just pushed the request button as hard as I could, damaging a few keys on my keyboard. (I lose control when I see something so admirable; let my excitement take control.)

I can honestly say this new work by Rose Carlyle didn’t rock my world as much as “Girl in the Mirror” did because I found the main heroine incredibly naive, unable to see any red flags flying right in front of her face, changing her mind and taking irritatingly ridiculous actions that endangered her life. But I’m focusing on the positive sides: the writing style is fast-paced, intriguing, and riveting. You find yourself finishing half of the book in one sitting without realizing. The mystery behind all the schemes cannot be predicted. The epilogue was also well-executed and confusing! I said, "What the hell, did I get it right?" and I reread to make sure I got all the pieces of the puzzle into the right places. This is an exciting, wild ride with a lot of action, dramatic events wrapped up with smart twists. Even though I wanted to shake some sense into the heroine, I forgave her for her young age and inability to foresee danger, leading her to keep making terrible mistakes. At least her heart was in the right place.

Let’s reveal more about the plotline:

The story revolves around young Eve Sylvester, in her early twenties, whose love of her life died in front of her eyes in a car accident on the same day he was supposed to introduce her as his girlfriend to her rich parents, who still think he will propose to his ex, whom his family chose for him to date.

When Eve loses Xander in the accident and finds out she’s pregnant with his baby, she realizes Xander’s family does not want anything to do with her and even thinks she’s a gold digger pretending to carry their grandson. So the only solution for Eve is to leave their shared apartment with her dead lover, lying that she miscarried, and raising her baby alone.

But fate has other plans for her. She bumps into an old eccentric woman at the graveyard when she says her last goodbye to Xander. The woman takes pity on her, and even though Eve has no work experience, she still offers her a nanny job for a wealthy couple, giving her a card to arrange her interview.

When Eve flies to a secluded island (all expenses paid by her presumed bosses), she meets the picture-perfect couple Julia and Christopher Hygate, and she finally understands the reason why they chose a less experienced nanny candidate who is expecting a child for this job: they want to adopt her baby and hire her as the nanny for their own child. Eve hesitates to decide the future of her child. As an orphan, friendless, penniless single mother, she cannot give any opportunities to her child that the Hygates can provide, but what if she changes her mind and wants her baby back?

She finally accepts the offer, but she has no idea that by stepping into the Hygates’ secretive lifestyle and their eccentric shipping enterprise business, what kind of danger awaits her and her baby? Did she make the worst mistake by making a deal which was too good to be true?

Overall, even though Eve rubbed me the wrong way with her ultra-naive thinking and actions without thinking that made me jump from my seat and yell into the pages as if I’m a delusional person talking to her imaginary friend, the pacing and the storytelling between past and present that reveals so many great twists and the conclusion of the entire execution was really smart that made me upgrade my rating from 3.5 stars to 4 "motherhood is sacred" stars!

Rose Carlyle is an absolutely brilliant author. She knows a lot about onboard life! I am thrilled to be reading her future books as well.

No One Will Know is a good mystery although some of the plot twists I saw coming. What was fun were the twists I was clueless about - especially the end.

A pregnant woman whose boyfriend was killed in a wreck is hired to be a nanny to a fabulously wealthy couple living on a remote island. She thinks that letting the couple "adopt" her child - with the caveat being that she will be the child's permanent nanny - is the best solution for the child.

It turns out it isn't that easy as a larger mystery is at hand.

A good read that I read quickly.
