Unfortunately a DNF for me! i couldn’t get into the story and found the characters to lack any sort of personality
Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture for this ARC! This book was so entertaining. This twists and turns left me breathless and wanting more!!! I was pleasantly surprised by this entire book! The characters were so believable and the plot twists made this a heart pounding read!!! I couldn’t believe the ending!! Wow! I will be reading more from this author and I highly recommend this psychological thriller!!!
Thank you Bookouture and NetGalley for an early copy of The Other Woman. This book kept me on my toes, hubby and wife played a game of cat and mouse in the beginning. I was confused during part two but then it all made sense, but I didn't like being confused for a bit. There was a lot going on. The epilogue was the Best part of the book that was a WOW moment which redeemed the whole book. Stick with it so you can get to the epilogue and have your mind spin.
Obsession, secrets, betrayals, twists and turns - everything is not as it seems and even the most obvious is not. Quite the page turner, and maybe a happy ending for some, but maybe not all ...
If you're looking for a book to hook you immediately then look no further! This one had me on the edge of my seat and kept me wanting more in the best way. I look forward to reading more of Holly Down's work!
This book had me confused (in a very good way) all the way up to the ending. I had no idea who did what to whom. Very good twists. Did not see any of it coming which is always the mark of a good read.
This was such a gripping read, the book got more intense as suspense grew and the twists and turns developed
A book about secrets and infidelity is always juicy. Kitty and David have been married for years and now they are going through a rough spot. Many twists and turns. I highly recommend.
Thank you to Netgallery and the publisher for this ARC. The publication date is the 7th June. This was a great twisty plot which kept me guessing and gripped to the very end. I read it in a day as the book was only 26 chapters long! 😊 I’d highly recommend this book.
The author's writing style is impeccable, seamlessly weaving together multiple plot lines and expertly building tension throughout the story. Each chapter unravels new layers of intrigue and mystery, leaving you constantly guessing and second-guessing. The pacing is perfectly balanced, never lagging or rushing, ensuring that the excitement never wanes.
Overall, "The Other Women" is a gripping and unforgettable thriller that will leave you questioning everything you thought you knew. With its masterful storytelling, well-crafted characters, and spine-tingling suspense, this book is a must-read for any fan of the genre. Prepare to be captivated, shocked, and thoroughly entertained by this literary gem.
Wow! Loved this one!
Kitty and David met in college and hit it off right away. But here they are many years into marriage and things are rocky. Infidelity, secrets, and lies are coming between them. Kitty suspects a romance kindling between David and his coworker Nina. When Nina and Kitty both go missing, truths begin to surface and no one can be trusted.
I loved that this was on the shorter side. Made for a quick, easy read. The transition into Part 2 literally had my jaw on the floor.
Loved the characters and chapter points of view. Unexpected turns kept me interested throughout!
First I want to say thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for giving me my first ever ARC. I was super excited for the opportunity. Unfortunately this book wasn't a great read for me.
I hate giving a book such a low rating but this was almost a DNF for me. Everything was going ok until the second "Kitty" was introduced. Then it became confusing for what I had just read. I almost wanted to go back and reread the first part. It was annoying instead of thrilling trying to keep up with which Kitty was which. The twist wasn't too shocking for me and definitely didn't make up for the "Kitty" confusion.
This was the first book ive read from this author, still willing to try books from her in the future!
Golden couple Kitty and David were once very much in love, but things haven’t been going well. Kitty has seen David out with his coworker Nina in intimate poses and she’s angry. Nina is unexpectedly murdered, is Kitty responsible? There was a lot going on here, characters and plot stories. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for a copy.
I DNF this book at 21% I really tried to get into this book, but it just wasn’t for me. It was also a little confusing at times and also a slow pace. I personally prefer my psychological thrillers to be a quick fast pace.
Thank you for the opportunity to be able to review this book.
I absolutely loved this book. From the first page to the last I was hooked.
Was another quick read fore but a very strong 4 stars from me.
Thank you Netgalley and Bookouture for the opportunity to review. Definitely recommend to others.
The first 25% of this book was a struggle for me as nothing much happened. Getting past this i became more involved in the story. The characters became more interesting and the twists involving certain characters got me hooked.
I can't say i loved this book but it certainly became more interesting the further on i got.
My thanks to netgalley and the publisher for my copy.
2.5 stars rounded up. I almost DNF’s this book at 30% because nothing had happened and any kind of plot was non-existent. I decided to stick it out and things did get better half way through. This book was driven by unreliable narrators. I need at least one character to be giving me some semblance of the truth. I was constantly being lied to and that’s not an enjoyable read. While I enjoyed some of the twists/reveals something was missing that left me unsatisfied at the end.
The Other Woman - by Holly Down
4 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
‘David and Kitty used to be the golden couple that everyone wanted to be. But as Kitty sits in the dark corner of a crowded bar and watches his arm wrap around the waist of his beautiful younger colleague, Nina, her worst nightmare is confirmed: her husband is having an affair.’
Things I loved about this book:
• The use of descriptive language, constantly creating detailed mental images. I could picture every single thing in each scene like I was there myself.
• The author evokes emotions as you read each chapter, engaging all of your senses at once.
• By chapter 2 I’d already fallen in love with the authors clever and witty writing style and will be adding every single one of her books to my TBR!
• I felt so invested in every character, even the secondary characters that were only mentioned a few times. The author has the ability to make you feel like you have a rapport straight away with every single character.
• Just when you think you know exactly how the story is going to unfold, the plot takes a twist and takes you down a completely different path!
Readers who enjoy unreliable narrators such as ‘Gone Girl’ and ‘The Woman in the Window’ will love this book!
A big thank you to NetGalley, Bookouture and the fabulous author Holly Down for this gifted ARC in return for an honest review.

Really laborious story. I don't love the characters and almost nothing really made sense. No spoilers but a huge part of why I didn't like it was that it had some sexist themes and characterizations. Big even happens at 40% through and then everything rushes to a conclusion at 90%. This one just wasn't for me.
Thank you #netgalley for the ARC

📖📖 Book Review 📖📖 How does a couple once so in love become such strangers to one another? Told in the dual points of view of Kitty and David, The Other Woman is such an intimate glimpse into their flailing marriage, the reader almost feels like the other woman while reading their most private thoughts and feelings. But the guilt only lasts a second because we quickly meet the actual other woman in their marriage, Nina, and the secrets and lies only escalate and form an absolute unputdownable novel! Page after page will leave an deliciously unsettled feeling to trust no one! The Other Woman is a gripping, fast-paced book that will keep you guessing until the very end.
Review is posted on Goodreads and will be on Instagram ahead of the publication date!
