Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson teams up with the fantastic Aaron Philip Clark to deliver a dark, gritty and propulsive thriller that packs a vicious punch. Once you pick up The Accomplice, you won’t be able to put it down and it’ll stick with you long after completion.

Nia Adams is the first Black female Texas Ranger who not only has to catch dangerous criminals, but also must navigate the complicated politics of her organization. Her latest case takes her to a bank robbery where nothing seems to be missing. The vault is untouched and the tellers not asked to empty their registers, but a hidden safe in a small room has been breached. Turns out a Vietnam vet turned master thief has removed the contents of that safe, which threatens to expose a wealthy family’s dirty secrets. A deadly game of cat and mouse ensues. Resulting in a pile of dead bodies, Nia’s career in jeopardy and, most importantly, her life in grave danger.

This book will smack you upside the head with crisp, gruesome action sequences and gallons of bloodshed. Seriously, the violence is no joke. Brutal and lurid, intense and evoking a powerful reaction. But whether you enjoy that kind of maliciousness or not, you’ll find you’re sticking around for the well-crafted nuances of the characters. These are complex individuals with very different pasts, motivations, and proclivities. It’s not as simple as cops vs. robbers. And that’s what makes this book so compelling and entertaining. Well…that along with the relentless action and blind siding twists.

The Accomplice is an exhilarating read. All gas, no breaks. Looking forward to more collaborations between 50 Cent and APC. Have a feeling they have more in store for thriller fans.

The Accomplice was a good mystery/thriller that had good characters, a twisty plot, and plenty of action. The 2 main characters: Nia(Texas Ranger) and Desmond(former Marine/thief) keep the action/story interesting. The book tells the story of these two people from the past and how their lives intersect. I can definitely see a follow up book to this one, because of how it ended.
Thanks to Amistad and NetGalley for the ARC and I recommend this book.

This was a fast paced thriller that you can tell wasn’t written by mayweather. Fifty cent did a great job keeping me interested in the story. I love his shows so I had high hopes for a book and he delivered. The character development is great and the story flows nicely!

The two main characters are Nia and Desmond, a Texas ranger, and a cold blooded killer. The rap references gave the reader a sense of having things in common with the characters.

I'm not going to lie, I requested this one solely for the fact that it had 50 Cent's name on it. As an avid reader, I was a little shocked to see he has a book coming out that's not an autobiography that so many celebrities have. But then, I ended up loving this. It was action-packed, non-stop until the very last page. This would make for an amazing movie or series with the highly likable, intriguing protagonist and the ruthless killer she is after. This was written so perfectly and filled with not only suspense but great character development. If you are an avid reader and love action, suspense, and thrillers, you will devour this one. Five Stars for not just the successful rapper he is, but for this brilliant debut book as well.

Thank you, Netgalley and Amistad, for this ARC.

Thank you for the opportunity to preview The Accomplice by Curtis Jackson. aka 50 Cent.
This is a debut novel and if you think Jackson is just a Rapper you are mistaken. This novel is excellent.
From the beginning of the book till the end I was captivated
Jackson weaves a tale of murder, mayhem, history and even some redemption
The novel centers on two characters Nia who is a Texas Ranger and Desmond, a killer with a mission.
The book tells the story of these two people from the past and how their lives intersect regardless of their vocation.
Told in startling words and a plot that is fast and furious.
I love this book and for me it may be one of my favorite of the year. 5 big stars Mr Jackso.n. I like your music but love your writing.
