I don't read many regency's anymore but this was a sweet story. She wants to just love her music and the Duke just wants his freedom.... or so they think. House parties really bring people together.

I really enjoyed this novel, I look forward to reading more from this author. It’s my first time read a historical (romance) novel, and I was not disappointed. If anything it encourages me to discover and continue my historical novel reading.

How the Wallflower Wins a Duke

This is my first book by this author and what a delightful find! I have been in a reading slump and this book helped me get over it.
The protagonists and the supporting characters kept the story interesting. Brook is witty, charming, and noble. Marina’s ambition about her music and future were a little unconventional for the times and the pacing of the story kept this book from being 5 stars.
