Murder Island is a 5-star addictive, roller coaster ride! Kira Sunshine and Doc Savage are battling evil with Doc on an ultimate mission to find and rescue Kira. Their saga leads them to many different locales-this book really reminded me of a James Bond movie! Highly recommend! To note, it is not required to have read The Perfect Assassin prior to this one. Oh my gosh, James Patterson always knows how to write a story and this just knocked me off my feet. So incredibly well done! Highly recommend

In Murder Island, James Patterson and Brian Sitts created another action-packed, exhilarating adventure story in the Doc Savage and Kira Sunlight series. Dashing around the world in boats, helicopters, seaplanes and by foot, the ingenious skilled pair fight the bad guys to achieve good.

Doc Savage is back! This book was absolutely terrifying at times. Doc goes to the ends of the Earth in his pursuit of his girlfriend, Kira. There were many twists and turns I couldn’t predict, which is hard to do!

Suspense is non stop and mayhem abounds in the continuing story of Savage and Sunlight.
Did Savage and Kira Sunlight disappear to sea on her boat when her hidden loft apartment is blown away. They make the their way to a small, tropical island and begin a life of simple living, thinking they are safe from the people who wanted them both dead.
But trouble finds them and when they are separated from each other in captivity the fight is on to outwit their captors and find their way back to each other.
Really interesting sea based story that offers a unique and very "un Patterson" like setting for a large part of the time.
Good characters, well defined and a storyline that pulls you right in.
Here's to appreciating time when you think you've run out of it.
