First things first, the Lost Carcosa Series wasn't completely my cup of tea. I usually prefer my tea with less penis in it but that's 100% on me, I just didn't do my research beforehand. I am glad I didn't, because I really enjoyed the rest of it.
The series is filled with great and unusual worldbuilding and characters I've grown to like in the last two books, whose innermost selves were turned inside out during their journey through the dreaming. They are still on the quest to stop Cali from reaching the lands of Pe'kar after she escaped from Carcosa and aren't only hindered by the desert itself, but also by Haercus, the former owner of the Claw who is desperately trying to get it back, an old enemy once believed dead and even their very own convictions.
I'm genuinely curious about what's going to happen to them next and I'm excited for when it's The Court of Pe'kars turn on my reading list. I've even spent money on it.
Lovely book. I rated it 4 stars because I think it isn't perfect but I liked the way the author wrote this plot.
