Surprisingly heartwarming, if a bit odd and off-putting at moments. Not really the story that worked for me, but I understand why readers would be excited by this.

I found joy in reading this book. I loved the connection Carol found with a gardener from Kenya. Two people who on the surface had nothing in common, yet as Mr. Owita worked in her garden. they found lots in common.
