This was a cute/steamy read. It felt like insta love even if they had know each other for years. I guess when you know, you know?
🚔 Small Town Romance
🚔 Police Officer/Florist
🚔 Insta-Love
🚔 Romantic Suspense
Chase loves his small town and his massive and wonderful family. But he’s ready to take the next step in his life. If only Summer would give him the time of day.
Summer ran away from her old life 5 years ago. She started a new life with wonderful friends and her aunt in Bitterroot Valley. Chase asked her out before but she turned him down. Now she only wishes he’d ask her out again.
Chase is super protective. As a police officer and a man who has been pining after a woman for years, he is vigilant when strange things start happening around summer.
These two fall hard and fast. The dog was adorable and I love how chase fell for them both.
The narrators did a wonderful job bringing Chase and Summer to life.
Although this is an interconnected standalone and book two in a series… I think it would be beneficial to readers to have read the author’s entire back catalog to fully appreciate this book. There were so so many characters that are mentioned that felt like they’d probably been explained in previous books but didn’t add anything to this particular storyline.

This gave her the opportunity to live everything behind and move in with her aunt. She been living Bitterroot Valley, the past five years after an incident bring her to Chase. A second chance after summer reject him years ago because she wasn’t ready and building up her business. Summer is living caring strong and support woman. Chase is a protector love his life and is proud of his siblings.
The story is fast paced and it well written the chemistry between Summer and Chase is so good there a bit of suspense it the beginning you know who is after Summer a little bit of family drama good enough spice.
I love Connor Crais and Stella hunter they are by go to narrator they were awesome love it
EXCUSE me Chase Wild but Imma need you to use that bossy side more often, pretty please. Phew, when this man dirty talks....
Friends to lovers gets two big thumbs up from me!
I loved these characters! I love that Kristen Proby gives her characters some flaws and they each go through their own growth over the course of the story. It was fairly easy to see who was behind the "mysterious" happenings to Summer but I loved how those aspects only brought Chase and Summer closer together. And the girl boss, women's group was such a heartwarming part of this storyline. The last few chapters pretty much had me in (happy) tears, loved.
The narrators really brought this story to life. Both were super expressive and OH MY WORD when Connor does the smexy scenes.....combustion on the spot LMAO okay TMI, now I'm being overzealous, I'm done now :-D
I loved Chasing Wild by Kristen Proby. I was very excited to listen to this since I also listened to her first book in this series and really enjoyed it. In this book we meet Summer and Chase. I loved their characters and one of my favorite things about her books is the found family aspect. I loved how everyone shows up for one another and the support they provide each other. Her characters are enjoyable and you can't help but root for them. Chase was swoony and also very protective of Summer.
Romantic suspense is quickly becoming my favorite genre. Kristen Proby does an excellent job of weaving in the mystery and suspense throughout the book. It flowed nicely and didn't feel rushed. The ending made me so excited for the next book! If you like romantic suspense and authors such as Catherine Cowles and Devney Perry, I think you would love this book and this series. I highly recommend this audio. Connor Crais and Stella Hunter do a fantastic job.
5/5 narration.
