Land's End was kind of a western historical wrapped in a futuristic fantasy. It was definitely different. I thought that the story was really all over the place and didn't really care for it. I found it hard to follow and to unbelievable for me. This coming from a girl who loves sci-fi romance so I can suspend reality with the best of them.

By the Sea of Sand was more to my liking. It added a bit of mystery in with the paranormal romance and kept my attention throughout the book.

I usually like Lauren Dane, but I couldn't get into this book. And I'm at the point where I now feel comfortable saying Megan Hart is not for me. I love her in real life, she's so awesome, but her books are not my cuppa.
