Wow, I was not expecting a reverse uno in this storyline. But, I loved it! Thanks NetGalley and the publisher for the DRC.

This is the first red string of fate story I've read and whoa, I didn't realize it would hurt someone's health in such a manner. Imagine not being able to sleep without this person beside you? I'd go crazy from lack of sleep. Props to them for keeping it together.

Overall, this was a very quick and engaging read. It was also in color! I was so shocked at first, thinking it was a B&W title that I had to download it onto my iPad to read. I cannot wait for the next volume after the ending of this one. I never thought I'd be this invested in an older brother, younger friend combo but when you mix in an unrequited love triangle...annd they're all living under the same roof? Pure chaos that I am 100% for.

Thank you to Netgalley for providing me with an ARC for this story.
SPOILERS TO FOLLOW

I was SCREAMING over nearly EVER PANEL in this graphic novel. It was so cute and so angsty and I love it so much. What was a little upsetting was the lack of dialogue in some of the text boxes though. There were full pages that were just pictures with no captions but I think I got the gist (hopefully) of what was happening in the story I love Jigeon SO DAMN MUCH the fact that he's like head over heels for Wooseo (WHO CANT EVEN TELL) is so gosh darn cute. I love it. But also why is Jiseok being so possessive all of a sudden!!! You had your chance my dude let your big brother take care of your best friend now!!!

A BL red string of fate story with the love interest being the best friend’s older brother with the unrequited love trope. The story was simple enough and cute. I’m not sure how I feel about the age gap in this one, considering when the MCs met, but if you ignore that then the story is nice.

I really liked this! It’s a great start to a series and I loved the plot. Best friend’s older brother trope? Sign me up.

The art style is simply pretty and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the series has in store. I am kind of hesitant about the crush (iykyk). I hope it’s over soon because I’m getting secondhand embarrassment. Other than that, I have high hopes for this.

I love the idea of the thread connecting fated people together, but I was just wishing for more? This is just the first volume, and I am sure the world will be expanded on in the future, but I have so many questions. In the manga, once you meet your person and ring appears, you don't sleep unless you holding hands with your ring partner. I like the idea, but it made the manga feel too trope-y, especially when you add in best-friend's brother, and the unrequited love but eventually has feelings for at the wrong time trope.

Now for what I liked. I liked how the story didn't beat around the bush in introducing the characters and who Wooseo's partner was. I love the dynamic between Wooeo (cute, pushover) with Jigeon (CEO, more demanding but also nice). I am curious to see when/if we find out who Jiseok is tied to. I want them all to be happy, but I know more drama is to come.

It was a good read, and I will look forward to reading the next volume. Thank you to NetGalley and Yen Press for giving me an ARC in exchange for a review.

I 100% believe in fate and love the idea that there is one (or more!) special someone for everyone. And I love reading about it. Red thread of fate is one of my all time favourite things in the entire world and my ao3 history would prove that but y'all can see that only over my dead body.

So, I was obviously intrigued by that and I loved (...not really bc it sounds horrible but as a work of fiction it's great!) how being apart from your soulmate makes you unable to sleep. Wait maybe that is why I suffer from insomnia...

The thing is - I just couldn't find it in me to care about the characters? Maybe it's because there are a lot of tropes I don't personally really like; best friend's brother, age gap(-ish, I'm not exactly sure how big the age gap is because it doesn't seem to be that much but at the same time it seems to be a lot?) and love triangle. I also find the brother kinda creepy - anyone else?

No matter what, I am very interested to see how the story goes from this. Thank you NetGalley and Yen Press for the ARC!

This is a soulmate story where a red ring appears on a person’s finger when they come in contact with tbeir soulmate. Wooseo is in love with his best friend, Jiseok, the problem is, they aren’t soulmates… Wooseo is in for a surprise when he finds out who is actual soulmate is!

I enjoyed that the soulmates aren’t immediately drawn to each other. The story is a slow burn with some twists and bumps along the way.

The artwork in this piece was beautiful, the story was captivating, and I’m so glad I got to experience this! I can’t wait to see how the story continues in Volume 2!

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for this arc.

I loved this story. I am all for this relationship sailing. Screw the younger brother. There’s no way he had no inkling of his friend’s feelings. I enjoyed the red string of fate aspect; it’s always been one of my favorites. I’m ready for volume 2. I need to know where the story heads.

Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for the advanced reader copy! I really liked the concept of this book, with the rings and having to be with your Person in order to sleep, but I found the story and characters really hard to follow. I would recommend this book to fans of manga with romance storylines. The artwork was also well done but not my style.

Ahhh I loved this so much. "Sibling's best friend" is like my favorite trope ever and this delivers SO WELL, although it's just the beginning. The groundwork for the future volumes is laid so well. Wooseo has had deep feelings for his best friend for years, but was content to just stay his best friend. Until fate gets in the way, and literally ties him to Jigeon, his best friend's older brother. Now neither of them can sleep without touching the other. So they reach a deal and as they start spending time together, Jigeon arranges it so Wooseo moves in with the the brothers, Wooseo is slowly starting to realize he has options. One of which is Jigeon, who it turns out has had feelings for him for years. Jigeon is determined to make Wooseo *see* him once and for all. He has no qualms about using their new tie to get what he wants. It's so good. Ahhh I can't wait to read volume two. I hope it's soon.

I actually really liked this book, and I can't wait too see where the story continues. The only confusing thing was the similar names for two characters, but after a bit, you understand who is who.

My impatient butt wishes this slow burn was a little less slow, but I’m definitely eagerly awaiting volume 2! I just hope Wooseo gets with the program at the very beginning of volume 2 and realizes what’s right in front of him or I’m going to SCREAM. Like baby boy you literally have a ring on your finger that marks you as fated to this dude and he’s almost identical to the person you think you’re in love with, what’s the holdup??? Get your head out of your butt and start exploring the relationship you could actually have, omfg!!!

I did not expect to enjoy this as much as I did! Our main character has been in love with his best friend for years now. His best friend though is unfortunately straight. One day he runs into his friend's older brother and their fated red rings show up, meaning they are partners destined to be. He struggles with the ring and his feelings for his friend while the other brother struggles with something similar. This was a breezy read and I look forward to the next volume.

I'd only read one graphic novel before this one (Sandman) so I wasn't sure what to expect.

There was like absolutely no steam which shocked me. But the story was good but not too dramatic. While I was reading it, I didn't want to put it down but by the end, I felt like I didn't need Vol. 2 which I was disappointed (I love that feeling that you HAVE to read the next one or else you'll never be satisfied).

This series had a really strong start! I loved the world building behind having a fated partner showing as a little red band on one of their fingers after they turn twenty. It was also interesting to see how much of a hassle and or drawback it could be if your fated partner wasn't who you thought it was going to be. Usually, we see the positives of this sort of setup, so pointing out the negatives is an interesting story point. While this is BL title, nothing more than a single kiss happens in this volume. There is an age gap between our pair as well, but so far, an actual number has not been stated, so if your not into age-gaps its an easy aspect to ignore. I found myself getting drawn in to the world and these characters, so give it a chance if it sounds interesting to you!

Tied to You is a manhwa that takes the trope of destined lover/red string of fate and keeps it a little fresh and modern -- this time it's the urban legend of a ring that appears when you have a "connection" with someone (a bump, in this case, but these two characters knew each other) and once you get it, you get a cold, and you can't sleep well... ever again unless you are holding the hand or the body of the person that shares your ring.

Fortunately for our main character, his Ring Partner is the hot older brother of his bbf-slash-unrequited crush! The two get closer, but, perhaps hot older brother has kinda been into Wooseo for a while?

The premise is interesting enough and the art is good, but something's up with the review copy in that there are a TON of empty boxes (even at least one dialogue bubble! And at least two instances of white/grey text that's unreadable) so I can't give this a proper rating because it's incredibly distracting and feels wholly unfinished. I haven't gone out to the store to find a copy to see if this happened in the print copy, but unfortunately I must review the copy I was given which was just weird considering Yen Press/Ize Press usually being fine on their review copies. I don't know!

But it's cute and enjoyable and I hope the published copy is finished with all those boxes filled or removed and I'm curious enough about the next volume.

The story follows a boy who has a crush on his best friend who does not return his feelings. However, his best friend's older brother has a thing for him and after one night everything in their life changes. The first volume covers quite a lot of chapters I was surprised by how long it was. I liked the art style and I find each character very intriguing. I can't wait to see what's going to happen next I will definitely keep reading.

This is only an okay manga for me. For anyone who reads zero fanfiction, all of the story tropes likely feel fresh and interesting. But if you've read any sort of fanfic, literally all of the main story is based on tired tropes. Red String of Fate, Forced Proximity, Soul Mates, Love Triangle, Mutal Pining, I can go on. This story is pretty cute, I won't lie. If stuff like the tropes I listed is the type of story you enjoy, then this story would be perfect for you. Otherwise, this story isn't really much to write home about. It's the same as every other story I've read that was in a similar story vein. I can't really connect well to the characters, because they're very trope-based, so they feel a little bit hollow to me.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for an advanced copy in exchange for my honest review!

This is a cute best friend's brother romance story with an added magical realism element of a soulmate ring that can appear after age 20 if you touch your soulmate, and you will then never sleep well again unless you are sleeping with that person. It's a weird concept, and it took me a bit to grasp, but I'm excited to read on and delve further into the relationship.

Tied to You is about Wooseo, who is secretly in love with his best friend Jiseok. However, Wooseo develops a ring in his finger linking him to his fated mate, Jiseok’s older brother Jigeon.

I normally dislike love triangles, but I am enjoying this one so far. Seeing the multiple cases unrequited loves, makes you feel invested in these characters. There is also a tension in the tone of the story that keeps you on edge, which I like.

I’m really looking forward to reading the next volume and seeing where this story goes.
