Serena is 15 and her race is dying. The ocean is becoming to acidic and everything was being destroyed. The biggest issues though are the werewolves that are trying to kill the rest of them off. When she is put as the liaison between them, she realizes that things are not what she has been told. Who is the enemy?
She has many things that she is trying to come to terms with and understand. There is a lot to learn and time for her to grow.
A good teen book.

When I first got this, I was super excited about the book. But unfortunately, I'm no longer interested in reading it at this point and I don't want to hold onto it any longer.

Sorry, this book/story was just okay. I actually never could get into the story and wound up leaving it unfinished.

I LOVE mermaids. So when i saw this, i was hoping to love it. The beginning unfortunately was really hard to get through...A LOT of description..which i understand is necessary to world build...but i just found it to be too much info in such a short amount of pages. I also felt Serena's character wasnt that well developed. This book is a little young for me. I often read YA but felt like this was more children's...not YA.

A well-written and enjoyable book, I am glad I requested this title and will be more than happy to pass the title along to my fellow library purchasers.
