Omg this book, I start reading it last night stayed up till 1am. Next morning I had just read couple of chapters left so I finished with my first cup of coffee. It’s really definition of Gilmore Girls meets how to lose guy in 10 days. I love your writing style Lindsey this book was beautifully written, I devoured this book. Witty banter, closed door romance, and so many heartwarming family moments. Darcy prefers quiet life, feeling strong loyalty to her family, friends and Aveline. Until a handsome stranger Penn arrives to stir a question about building career, his big plan to transform hardware store her father owns into hot spot tourists attraction. Darcy makes it her mission to preserve it at all cost.
Chemistry between Darcy and Penn was undeniable .The longer Penn stayed in Aveline as he discovered that he’s falling more for Darcy. The need to decide where their future truly lie and what they are willing to sacrifice to find love and happiness in Aveline.

It’s really light read, where two people who have a different perspectives on life, unexpectedly falling in love with each other, and working their differences as team to be happy together forever.

The narrative revolves around Darcy, a local resident, who faces heartbreak when her father decides to retire and sell his hardware store. Enter Penn, a sophisticated urbanite employed by a major hotel chain aiming to purchase the hardware store and transform the town into a tourist hotspot.

Darcy and Penn share a delightful banter, their chemistry palpable even as they engage in playful teasing. Witnessing their struggle to conceal their true intentions while succumbing to mutual attraction is utterly captivating.

The colorful backdrop of the town and its inhabitants adds layers of humor and charm to the narrative, evoking laughter throughout.

With a satisfying conclusion, the story feels complete, yet leaves the door open for further adventures in this quaint town with its eclectic inhabitants.
