Review My Own
I usually love obsession stories. Stalkers whatever, I loooove it. This story was no different and I’m all about the two extremes of one man wanting her and being total batshit crazy and the other just batshit crazy over her. This was certainly an excellent portrayal of a romantic suspense novel and I was tense and involved pretty much from the start. The book picks right up where the last ended and it’s like the heroine is finally ready to stop letting the past control her present. Of course someone doesn’t what that to happen and they certainly don’t want her in a relationship with the hero. Good on her for ensnaring a military man who is trained and ready to go to bat for his girl. I didn’t love the whole concept of the hero being such a manwhore and then suddenly he’s ready to give it all up for her, he just seems like a no nonsense guy and the heroine unfortunately has last and present demons. The suspense and mystery factor were high. There were enough characters I couldn’t always be sure who I thought the villain was. The book didn’t need to drag on as it did but I did enjoy the ride and the end result

After meeting them in the previous two books of the series, I was really glad to get the story of Claire and Noah. Claire has a very troubled past that involved her family being killed by her lover. She escaped him, but has never been able to get past the awful events. Noah is a hotel tycoon who also has a murky past. He spent years in covert military operations. Noah and Claire have an attraction that consumes Noah, and he isn't the only one who wants her. It is up to Noah to protect this woman from the man who will kill to have her.
This was a great story. I liked the characters, and the storyline kept me interested. I thought it had a good balance of romance and suspense.
