Neat gathering of what some might consider reads to be on alert for.
Helpful summary at the start of each selected book excerpt to give you that instant "hmmm,, sounds interesting " or the occasional, "nah, not for me".
Two were interesting enough to make me research them further .
All in all, a handy and helpful little collection of possible reads.
Excerpts have never been a real thrill for me but these worked well.

This was a great guide to preview books coming up in the second half of 2024. I e referred to this a few time already for books i will put on my wish list. That you Publishers lunch for compiling this list.

A great list with a lot to consider for Q3/Q4 for my store. I do wish that the fiction section had been broken into subcategories

Buzz Books is the Best! I love looking through the selection of New Books and Already Made a List of 20 Books I like. Makes, me excited for the Fall. The Debut Authors Section is my Favorite. In the past, I have found many new authors I love that way. This is a Must Have for Book Lovers, and We All Are so Works Perfectly.

Great book if you’re looking for what’s to come in every genre. For me it wasn’t something I would read again. I like following my authors for their next release or talking with other book lovers.

Got a few items for the TBR, but found it hard to maneuver thru the text on a e-reader. Will most likely pick up the new Sally Rooney book, and I didn't realize how many non-fiction and memoirs publish every year.

I'd never read a sampler like this before - what a treat! I skimmed or skipped a few of the excerpts, but many of them caught my interest, and I wanted to read more. I'm making a list of titles that I want to request from NetGalley or purchase in the future. Super fun read.

I’ve seen previous renditions of BuzzBooks and was intrigued, but this is the first time I’ve actually read one of these and I’ll definitely be looking for them in the future! They are fantastic for book fans and even essential for bookstore owners and librarians looking for prospective titles.

I appreciate that the book is divided into selections of: fiction (the bulk of the selections), debut, nonfiction and YA. I was especially intrigued by the trippy suspense of Old Soul by Susan Barker, the meta-fiction of The Sequel by Jean Hanff Korelitz, a multiple perspective mystery Every Moment Since by Marybeth Mayhew Whalen, the brutally honest The Harder I Fight, the More I Love You by the incredibly talented songwriter Neko Case and am most intrigued by Del Sandeen’s debut, This Cursed House. One of the best features is a direct link to NetGalley is available for each work.

I highly recommend this and will eagerly await the next edition in January.
