The art style is adorable. However, I have no idea what is going on in the story. There seems to be multiple storylines here, but we get no information about any of them. It's so incredibly slow. Hundreds of pages and very little happens.

I received this as an ARC copy from NetGalley.

I would like to start off by saying thank you so much for the opportunity to read this book as an ARC. I bought the paperback of the first book in order to read the second, and I’m so glad I did. I finished both of them in one sitting.

The art style is incredible, the characters’ emotions show to be quite complicated for their ages, and I love that these books show the effects that bullying can have on someone.

I loved this book immediately for the beautiful design. I loved it even more for the plot and the characters.

Lumine is so sweet and protective. Kody is definitely going through it and trying to deal with everything on his own while others try to prove he doesn’t have to.

I really like the friendship that they have and how we can see their dynamic more clearly.

I will definitely be looking for these in the future as the rest of the story is told! Thank you so much again!

This book was ok. It's a wattpad web tune that's been published. I didn't hate, I just didn't like it either.

Before Lumine met Kody, he was a down-on-his-luck weredog with nowhere to turn. Now that Lumine has a job as Kody’s bodyguard and a place to live, his life should be simpler. But things are only growing more complicated. Kody is still doing everything to keep Lumine at arms length, mysteries are piling up, and witch kids are going missing.

Lumine tries to protect the antisocial Kody from his bullies, but can’t figure out why popular witch girl Calla is doing everything in her power to make him miserable. And there are more questions surrounding the brooding teenager—how come his magic doesn’t work properly? And why is there a cat-shaped spirit haunting him?

Plus, Lumine has his own mystery to solve. He is a werewolf, a rare and powerful type of magical being thought to be extinct, but he can’t transform properly. Lumine is stuck in either his human form or as a tiny puppy dog, and has no idea why.

When danger closes in on Kody, Lumine does everything to protect him, even at the risk of revealing his big, fluffy secret. To keep each other safe, the unlikely duo will have to unlock the mysteries of their powers . . . and figure out how to get along

I enjoyed volume 2 of Lumine much more than volume 1. The graphics are great and the plot of the story really starts moving. Lumine volume 2 has a little bit of everything. Many people can relate to the characters because of the bullying aspect and keeping people at arms length such as Kody does. I wish this book would have been around when I was in High School. I just loved it and cannot wait to read more of the story.

Oh, how I wish this was around when I was in middle school and high school. I absolutely love how this story is progressing, and I can't wait to read more of it. I love the action in it. What's also great about this series is that I can read it with my daughter, who also loves it.

Thank you, Netgalley, and Wattpad, Webtoon Books for this eArc. This is my honest review.

I love this story, it's about a kid who is bullied and everyone avoids him because of his bully. Codys and his new friend who is the cutest little white puppy who has a secret too are the cutest friends. I love watching as these two grow closer and can't wait to see where their story goes.
