BLUE LINES by Toni Aleo. This book was a bit tough for me - not for triggering things, but because Erik, the Hero, was such a jerk. Even as the story progressed and he seemed to pull his head out of his...., he just didn't do it for me. He had his moments but, sadly, they were a bit too far apart. I liked Piper, although her flightiness with jobs was a bit annoying, especially with a. baby on the way. Overall, the story wasn't too bad and I did enjoy seeing Erik change and realize what he had right in front of him. (received NetGalley ARC for honest review)

It's been years since I first started this series and sadly since I just haven't been able to get back into it. The story delves deep into character building and thus is very long, sadly too long and almost boring for me :(

I just couldn't get into this book. The "hero" is a mean spirited jerk man whore who gets a one night stand pregnant. Piper had a crush one on Erik, but he is downright cruel when she tells him about the baby and its all about how it will ruin his life. Piper needed a little backbone too. The story got better near the end when you started seeing inside Erik, but I had a hard time getting over his early behavior.
