At the back of the book is the forward to Marija Gimbuta’s book, The Language of Goddess. He also includes a list of essential readings for Goddess studies. Joseph Campbell is known for his book and documentary, The Power of Myth. When I saw this book, I knew I had to read it. In this book, he references archeologists and historical events. This is a must have book for anyone interested in women’s studies.
