I wanted to read this because I went through some of the trauma this doctor did when I was trying to care for my own child. It's shocking that it happened to her and it really shows that we have a lot to overcome in order to really do best for babies.
There are so many myths and misconceptions about breastmilk, with some people believing it's like magic. Back when every baby drank breastmilk, infant mortality was insanely high.
Dr. Castillo-Hegyi goes through all that and shows the research, but also speaks to real experiences people have. I highly recommend this to everyone who is going to be a parent and everyone who has struggled with this.
