This is a great addition to the series! I enjoyed this book as much as the others. I always enjoy a good detective series.

Recently I've noticed a sure way to find a book I am going to like after choosing my favourite genre and an author who appeals. I now check the publisher, as a few publishers have never let me down with my selected read, whilst others have regularly failed to deliver on the promise of the book's blurb. The Book Folks is undoubtedly one of the best, and most discerning, publishers of excellent crime fiction and have fabulous authors on their list.
This is my introduction to Robert McCracken, and his detective, D.I. Tara Grogan. She's a great character, really gutsy and determined to catch a killer, and I intend to read all the books in this series. The plot is realistic, topical, gripping, and full of suspense, set in a city I love, Liverpool.
This is a book which contains everything a fan of gritty crime fiction would want - and more, much more.

Another very good read in the series featuring DI Tara Grogan and set in Liverpool, although it can be read as a standalone. Filled with interesting characters, a whole cast of murder suspects, different storylines and plenty of twists, this is a good addition to the series. Thanks to Net Galley for my ARC.
