This was definitely an interesting book. While the style was a bit chaotic, it did have alot of information that I enjoyed hearing. As someone who found alot of solace in forest bathing starting in 2020 at the height of covid, trees bring me alot of peace and just such a sense of content, so I really appreciate all of the research done for this book.
This book did take me a little while to read but I really enjoyed it. If you are someone who loves nature and the forest this is a great book. I learned so much new information about trees, forest & some of the efforts happening around the world to help with the climate crisis. So, if that is something you are interested in, or someone you know, this is a great book worth the time reading. I like that not only is it packed with information but the author also ties in her own stories along the way. Another aspect of the book that I liked is that it is though provoking and encouraging in the sense that it makes me think deeper about these issues and think about the small things I can do to help but also to appreciate the things other people are doing or may start doing on a larger scale to help as well.
DNFed. I really wanted to love this but it was chaotic and just too jumbled for my little brain. Maybe I will revisit this at another time, but I need to be honest, it wasn’t for me.
Thank you to NetGalley for this book and I’m sorry that this is my honest review.
