The loove I have for this book can not be matched! I seriously loved every single second. I wanted more and more. It had me reading with a lady boner from all the hot tension and spice. Killian was so perfect with broodiness. Sylvie was a spit fire and I absolutely adored her.
Sylvie is an American in Scotland for a vacay with her bf. She breaks into a home to take a photo of a typewriter, she got caught by a hot giant scot. She goes back home and her world is turned upside down. She gets a knock on her door from a Scottish woman. She is the man's sister and she is here with a proposition Sylvie cant deny.

Thank you to Netgalley and the Publishing company for this Advanced Readers Copy of Keep Me by Sara Cate!

Keep Me was a fun read that I, honestly, didn’t want to end. Sylvie, a bold and independent NYer, breaks into a beautiful mansion, Barclay Manor, and comes face to face with the irate owner. Reminiscent, at times, of beauty and the beast…the castle, the gruffness…I enjoyed the familiarity that brought to the story. An arrangement brings her back to the Manor and there she finds more than the typewriter she originally set out to photograph. Brought a smile to my face on more than one occasion…ahem, stairway and Christmas morning. This book was different than Salacious Players club…in a wonderful way. A story of found family and finding inner strength to work on mental health…perfect for fans of Sara Cate and anyone looking for a sweet and steamy tale.

I loved Praise and I would say this is right on par with that! Killian is a grumpy broody Scottish billionaire, who just wants to be left alone until Sylvie barges into his life. They resist each other for a whiiiilllleeee but once they start boning the spice is spicing!

I always think that enemies to lovers isn’t one of my favorite tropes but this book makes me re think that. Plus I love banter and they banter so good in this one! I do love a marriage of convenience the way it unfolds is great. There were some nice spicy sex scenes but I kind of wanted more

I wanted to read Keep Me because I have a family connection to Scotland and I am a big Outlander fan but this book is not really about Scotland and has so much bad language and graphic sex scenes (that lacked any romance) that I had a hard time finishing the book. It seems like it wants to be the next "Fifty Shades" but for me it fell short. There wasn't any compassion or respect in the relationship between the two main characters and I can only read a woman being called terrible names for so long. Sorry, this book was not for me and also totally unsuitable for my High School library.

Honestly, I loved everything about this week. The dislike lover is really got me and like once they fell in love I knew that I was also in deep. I actually loved both characters. I think they were very dynamic characters and even though they dislike each other, they understood each other really well from the beginning and they both deserved better when it came to their families and the people who said that they love them, but essentially really didn’t love them or try to understand them, but yeah I loved everything about this book. I love a Scottish man. Sylvie and Killian have become my new favorite characters when it comes to Sara cate books and I was very surprised, but I love them so much.

In the spirit of full transparency, this almost lost me in the middle, but it got me in the end. Both Sylvie and Killian were a bit insufferable (especially in the beginning) and I wish we didn't speed through their relationship together. However, by the end I was seriously rooting for them (and his letter nearly made me shed a tear). The friend group and their history (which, I'm assuming, we will explore in future books in the series) was severely underdeveloped, and I had more questions than answers by the end of this book. I'll most likely continue with the series as I've enjoyed Sara Cate's work in the past. This, however, was just okay.

First off I want to thank Quinn for encouraging me to keep going when I was about to DNF this one about 45% in.
I’m gonna be honest the main character are SUPER unlikable. If that’s a deal breaker for you it takes until about 70% for us to see them as more human and fully understanding them doesn’t come till the very end.
But I’m gonna be honest this one made me cry. And stressed healing yourself and not others. And kept me guessing. There was a lot of good. I just had to move past the characters. It reminded me of how I didn’t like the characters in The Anti-Hero also by Sara Cate but they grew on me.
If you like morally grey characters and a ton of spicy times this one might be for you! But please read the trigger warnings before diving in!
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 4.5/5

Sara Cate never disappoints with the characters she creates and this book is no different. The steam between the two main characters builds perfectly and I'm looking forward to the second one in the series.

Perfect for Marriage of Connivence trope lovers. Sylvie has absent parents who have recently cut her off, that's okay, she just got offered a coupe million dollars if she marries a broody Scotsman for a year and then signs the house over to the family. She never planned to fall for him, as they all do. She gets emotionally invested in Mr. Killian when he leaves the manor for the first time to go looking for her in town to make sure she is safe. I will say this is not as spicy as other Sara Cate books, but still a steamy read.

Another outstanding steamy read from Sara. This marriage of convenience will deliver on all your kinky vibes, and some you didn’t even know you had. While giving all the delicious enemies to lovers tension.

Whilst Sara Cate is an amazing writer (girlie could write a dictionary and I would devour it), I struggled to connect with Keep Me. Don't get me wrong, a sexy scotsman all mysterious and broody is amazing, the name calling and pettiness between these two was not for me.

I really adored this book and need more of them immediately!! The characters were so thought out and unique. The spice!? HELLL YEAHHHHH. I beg, on my knees, for more of these characters. Pretty please with a cherry on top.

If you love drama in a book then you have come to the right place. This is the story of a Scottish hermit basically and a young Americans girl who is a writer. His family is known to have a rare typewriter. She just had to see that and decided it was a great idea to sneak into his hermit. This is the sort of happened ehen she gets caught. This has a Beauty and the Beast feel to it and I really liked reading it.

I’ve read a few of Sara Cate’s books before, but this is by far the most emotional one. I loved seeing the journey of both Sylvie and Killian, and how they grew together. I enjoyed both of their characters so much, they had an insane amount of chemistry. They both overcame a lot of things in the course of the book, and they couldn’t have done it without each other. I can’t wait for the rest of this series to come out!

This enemies to lovers/marriage of convenience story was not what I expected. I was fully prepared for a great, spicy romance with little plot. What I got was two damaged characters who find the encouragement to heal themselves in each other. Don't get me wrong, there was some pretty decent spice in this one. However, the author kept alluding to how "kinky" the male lead was without delivering.

Sara can do no wrong! I adored this book. I am so so so glad that she has a fully read book out in the world for people to be able to read. Her writing and story telling is like no other and this one was no different. Killian and Sylvie were perfection and I love a good marriage of convenience book.

this was such a fun start to a new world! a marriage of convenience and they are both grumpy?! add in the scottish highlands? yes please!

What happens when you break into a brooding Scotsman's home to just take a picture of a typewriter?
Well, you get put into a marriage of convenience, for him to keep the family home and for you to make some money, because you are blessed with a pair of self-absorbed artists for parents. Remember darlings, we are just doing this for a quick buck. Don't fall in love, don't commit adultery, oh... and we have to make it look and feel real.
Does she have what it takes to make it the full year with this agreement? What's the deal with the family home and why do they want to take it from him?
