Amazing!!’ We love these books 🤩 5 stars. My daughter had a ball reading this with me, we also love Unicorn Day!

This is an adorable rhyming book about a day the dinosaurs come to play. I read this to both of my kids (5 and 2) and they both enjoyed it, though the 5 year old declared it was more a book for her younger brother at the end. With that said, she did say she thought the lava cake was funny and the duck was a surprise. My 2 year old loves dinosaurs and got up to stomp with them at the beginning. The rhyming is easy to follow, the pictures were cute, and the story was fun. A colourful romp for kids who like dinosaurs. We read this e-book through NetGalley.

Very colorful graphics that bring the story alive. This book is perfect for dinosaur loving children who want to stomp and learn some of the names of dinosaurs. My 2 year old loved this book and wanted to "stomp" when the dinosaurs were stomping. We will be buying this book for our physical library. Thank you to NetGalley and SOURCEBOOKS Kids for the advanced reader copy.

Beautiful illustrations, there’s some representation/diversity in the illustrations of children, and I loved the Dino song! The rhyming is great, but the book is a little all over the place. I know it’s a book for preschoolers, but we start with the dinosaurs coming to our town, but end up in Dinoville somehow at the end. They’re doing things in the streets, then we’re singing a fun song, then back to neighborhood doing things in the backyards, then baking for some reason, now the dinosaur eggs are here and we’re back to Dinoville maybe? Then there’s a concert with a duck. At the end of the day, my three year old loved it and as a just for fun book, it’s fine. As far as adopting into the classroom, it’s fine for a rhyming book but not my favorite for story retell or sequencing.
Thanks to #NetGalley for the ARC!

A very lively read for very lively kiddies, that features a party- and joy-filled day for the dinosaurs and the people watching them enjoy Dino Day. The colours are so vivid and bright and full-on, that even when we get through the rhyming narrative to the close of the day and we're supposed to settle down for the night the way the dinosaurs have, I fear the worst and that we'd be too active and alert just because of the detail and vivacity on show here. The rhymes are superlative and very joyous, so it's not just the artist at fault – no, this is brimful with vigour from all angles. It's frivolous fun, yes, but a marvellous example of it – just don't expect it to calm anybody down as you might have hoped. A strong four stars.

This is a great book for a toddler or preschooler. There is an easy to understand plot with few words and vibrant illustrations.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of this ebook in exchange for my honest review.

My class loved this book. They are fascinated by anything dinosaur lately so we had to read this a couple times back to back.

My kids and I love this series so much. Dinosaur day was so much fun we loved the lyrical story and the gorgeous illustrations. Murray and Flowers are a dream team on these books. We can't wait to add a copy of this to our home library.

I'd like to thank Sourcebook Kids, Diana Murray, & NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book. This charming book is perfect for kids who love dinosaurs, featuring colorful illustrations, various dinosaur species, and an exciting adventure through a day with dinosaurs. I highly recommend it for parents of dinosaur enthusiasts, and I plan to purchase it for my child.

A cute book for young Dino lovers. A bit chaotic, but if you are looking for a book with rhyming words, this is a good one. The illustrations are bright and fun. Great for a younger audience.

This book doesn't mess around with setting the scene. You're thrown into the thick of it on Dinosaur Day with dinosaurs parading down the street and having all kinds of fun. I'm sure children would enjoy how it cuts right to the chase! The story is told in rhyme with a little song thrown in every once in a while, making it easy to recite aloud and chant with children. I love that it names every dinosaur (plus it makes it easy for adults to point out different dinosaurs later because, let's be honest, it's hard to keep track of all of them the way children can). There's a bit of unexpected humor, too. All around a nice read for children.

A fun storytime title! I am always searching for books that appeal to the dinosaur-loving crowd at my library, and this one fits the bill. Thank you for the opportunity to review an advanced copy.

Thank you to the author, Sourcebooks Jabberwocky and NetGalley, for an ARC in exchange for an honest review. My apologies for the delay in posting, I had several familial health challenges to contend with in the past months.
This children's book for the younger (pre-school and early readers) set is a fun and vibrantly colorful read. The rhyming story takes you through a day focused on all things dinosaur, with lots of adventures and celebration of dinos. The illustrations go well with the text, and there is a surprise hidden in the progression of the story.

Dinosaur Day is such a fun and engaging read! The rhyming text flows well and is fun for kids The illustrations are detailed, bright, and just amazing. My six year old is a big fan of Unicorn Day and loved this one as well even though she isn't a big fan of dinosaurs. She thought the duck was such a funny addition to the story!
Many thanks to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Kids for the ARC!

Another hit Dinosaur book! I didn't know there was a Unicorn & Mermaid book in the same realm. I'll have to get my hands on those!
Dinosaur Day was a fun and beautiful! Both of my kids actually sat there the whole time to read this one. It's bright and vibrant so that helped keep the toddler interested. We loved the illustrations! The song in the book was so cute and catchy! This is another rhyming story, but it was a lot easier for my kid to catch than some other rhyming books. I highly recommend this one!
Many thanks to Sourcebooks Jabberwocky and Netgalley for an e-ARC. All thoughts an opinions are my own.

Dinosaur Day is a fun and silly picture book about dinosaurs. It's obviously not meant to really be informative about dinosaurs given that the dinosaurs and people are both living together, but it does have a message about having fun and including everyone. My kids enjoyed the interactive moments (example: stomping feet) and bright illustrations.
Thanks to Sourcebooks Kids Jabberwocky and NetGalley for an eARC of this book for an honest review.

This is such a cute book for any dino loving kid. This book is colorful, shows different types of dinosaurs, and takes the kids on an adventure through a day with dinosaurs.
I highly recommend this book for anyone with a dinosaur loving kid. I will definitely be buying it for my child.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC
this is adorable for prek-1
working in the library one of the most popular books is Unicorn Day so I know this would be so so popular here and i loved the silliness of the duck added in
the art is so attracting and draws the kids in.. well done!

What a fun, loveable dinosaur read! Diana Murray did a wonderful job creating a lively environment with the dinosaurs singing along throughout their activities. Luke Flowers created beautiful, engaging illustrations that perfectly complement the story's theme. My preschoolers loved singing along and can’t wait to read this book again. :)
** Thank you NetGalley, Sourcebooks Kids, and Diana Murray for an eARC copy of ‘Dinosaur Day’.

This book is beyond fun. The bright colors and the rhyme are perfect for a story time, or read aloud. The humor imbued in every page is also great for getting smiles and giggles out of kids and adults alike.
