I enjoyed this book. I loved it because I felt like I could relate to the main character and everything she has been through. I liked the fact that she was bold enough to try new things. I am glad she finally got the chance to fall in love. The ending was good. I'm grateful that netgalley and the publishers let me read this in exchange for an honest review.

Loved this book! This novel is filled with heart and plenty of angst as Rory struggles with finishing things. She sees herself as a failure and plans to move to Boston to change her life. Shortly before her move, Gideon returns to town. Before long, she is smitten and starts to rethink everything. However, as a wounded vet, Gideon has lots of baggage of his own.
The author has a gentle touch with some very sensitive issues. This book is poignant and charming. Fans of the genre will love this one. The author is on my must read authors' list.
