This book was both inaccurate and a bit boring.
Like song names (yoyok for example) and lyrics were inaccurate, not even to get into the meaning of songs, muses and other theories. I thought the Easter eggs and taylorscope were the best parts. As a swiftie I was disappointed.

as a swiftie, i was so excited to receive this arc! i am always eager to learn new things about her and i certainly learned several new fun facts about her in this book. however, i couldn’t help noticing several mistakes throughout the book that caused me to question the credibility and truth behind some of the statements. i have a few other taylor swift books on my TBR, so i’ll be eager to see how those compare to this one. overall not as impressed with this one as i was hoping.

This is a masterpiece, the music and life story are both given equal importance. I was particularly drawn to the ease of reading this book, informative but not opinionated.
A brilliant read, you don’t want to miss it!

This was so adorable! I absolutely loved the artwork. The author did a nice job of giving a brief introduction to all things Taylor related. I especially enjoyed the section on the albums. It was cool to see the awards, muses, creative direction, etc in an easy-to-read format. A great choice for Swifties.

I adored this book! I quickly realized there was a lot for me to learn about Taylor Alison Swift ! “Taylor Swift is Life” covers Taylor’s rise-to-fame timeline, details surrounding each specific album (including why each No. 5 song was chosen with special emphasis made on TV for each where applicable), random Swift-related facts labeled A-Z, a horoscope for all signs — each including a song assignment — and the CUTEST artwork you’ve ever seen!! This is the perfect gift for any aged Swiftie!

As soon as this book was announced, I knew I wanted a physical copy to have on my shelf. I love collecting Taylor Swift books (well, ok, any memorabilia really 😅). The illustrations are so pretty and I love how comprehensive this book is - you’ll find everything from easter eggs to songs that match your astrological sign and even detailed sections for each album.

This was a cute, short book! I enjoy reading anything about Taylor Swift and this was super easy to digest and I learned some new things. The graphics were adorable and a bit simple but had key defining factors to identify it as Taylor. I loved the album breakdowns.

Perfect for the swiftie or new swiftie in your life. I’ll be honest I didn’t get the hype until I saw the era’s tour movie with my daughter. To sit in the movie theater and listen to the ppl just laugh & scream & sing along word for word, showed me what a phenomenon Taylor Swift is. This book delves into Taylor’s start and works its way to the current album. The illustrations are so whimsical and lovely. Just like the singer.

I love everything Taylor Swift, and this book didn't disappoint! I loved the way the author, Kathleen Perricone, wrote, giving such detail and care to the way she portrayed the story. I learned things I hadn't known before, which is always a win in my book! Overall, I really enjoyed this book!

I’ve read other books about Taylor Swift before, but none of them have been as detailed as this one. I'm really impressed by the extensive information included in these pages, covering her work from the early days up to now. I particularly enjoyed the interesting tidbits about each album, especially the ones about all the "track 5" songs.

The illustrations are absolutely spot-on. Taylor would surely be pleased to see her career depicted with such attention to detail and talent.

A cute little book that any Swiftie would enjoy reading through. This is probably better for a new Swiftie as a lot of the information covered in the book is stuff that anyone who has been a fan for awhile would already be well acquainted with. There were really adorable illustrations, though, and a fun little horoscope section in the back.
