Cinder Luna was a cute Cinderella retelling. Mixed in were video games and great side characters. It was very cheesy and also very instalove, but also fun.

The characters were fun, I loved Luna & Henry's chemistry and their little quirks. I loved their interactions, both in person and virtual. I loved the side characters as well.

The plot was well done and finding the original references was a lot of fun. I thought the author did a great job of mixing them into the story. Overall a cute read and I'll most probably continue the series.

This audio is fantastic! I’ve been looking forward to reading this story. When it showed up on NetGalley as an audio I had to request it!

I’m so glad I did. It’s been at least three weeks since my last Cinderella retelling so it was about time 😅

My favorite scene is when Henry asks, “Who hurt you?” He asks gently, it was a pleasant spin on the phrase and spot on for his character.

Very much a “palate cleanser” (which is totally fine and necessary), but still cute and enjoyable fast read. The audiobook is <7 hours so truly mean it when I say fast read. Male narrator had a weird accent (above and beyond his characters backstory) and occaisionally took me out of the story with weirdly pronounced or mispronounced words (very clearly enunciated draw instead of drawer for ex).

this was an absolutely adorable, magical, joyful cinderella retelling! all the characters truly beheld their fairytale counterparts with the best modern twists and turns. Luna is the perfect heart of gold, kind to fault leading lady, and Henry is the most perfectly kind and loving prince charming, ready to be the most loving and patient person he can be for all the people in his life. the story does not stray too far outside the cinderella-esque story, keeping it the perfect escapist romcom perfect for a quick read or listen 💜

This was a really fun, mistaken identity, dual POV, kissing only Cinderella retelling that sees Luna meeting a mysterious man on a train and hitting it off only to later discover he's the gaming friend she's been playing with online for years. With a great meet cute, a strong female gaming/artist lead and a perfect nod to the Cinderella fairy tale, this was such an enjoyable listen on audio. Highly recommended especially for fans of authors like Cathy Yardley or Seressia Glass's book, Game on. Very cute modern day cinderella retelling set in the gaming world. When Luna and Henry met IRL, it was insta-lovey that they ended up kissing, which felt a little out of place. Their gaming personas got to know each other on a personal and emotional level. The bakery twins made very convincing "step sisters" with their demanding tasks thrusted upon Luna.

This audiobook was wonderful, it’s short and sweet! I literally finished it on my long commute. The 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐞 𝐃𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 & 𝐉𝐨𝐞 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐧 brought this sweet and magical Cinderella retelling to life!

I absolutely loved this book! It’s a love at first sight story with a really sweet meet-cute. Henry & Luna didn’t realize how much they had in common when they first met, but slowly they come to find out just how intertwined their worlds are. The gaming aspect of this story was awesome. I loved how awesomely nerdy both Henry and Luna were. I also really loved how nice all of the side characters were, other than the “evil bakery owners”.

I highly recommend this story to everyone that enjoys insta-love and Disney inspired stories! This book will have you giddy as you watch Henry and Luna fall in love!

I am very excited for Adam’s, Beauty & the Beast retelling! That’s my favorite Disney movie and I know I am going to love whatever 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐢𝐥 does with it! ♥️
