Another utterly unique installment. As I said, I am not sure what to say or how to express my thoughts on this series.

Not because the lack of words, but foremost because of the lack of ability to pin down my feelings.

I enjoyed this follow-up to Through the Door. It had been a VERY long time since I'd read the first book (years), but I was surprised that I didn't have much problem jumping back into the story and remembering the basics of what had happened. My only issue was that things were a little predictable, and I felt that the middle of the book was a bit slow---or maybe it was just that I wasn't invested enough in their quest.

This book actually gave us a really satisfying ending, and I don't really feel like I need to read the final book. There's no cliffhanger at all in this one, and no indication of where the series might go next. I might just stop here---or I might pick up book three someday---we shall see.
