Eden was once a famous pop star who had a video released without her permission or knowledge of having sex with her band mates she has gone dark after that. The secrets of being a star and who would do something like that to her and why. Multiple layers of betrayal going on. A really good book of mystery and suspense. Good characters especially the main character Eden.

This captivating book grabbed my attention right from the beginning. The story revolves around Eden, who was once America's pop princess but faces public disgrace after a scandalous video exposes her romantic involvement with her four bandmates. This suspenseful and slow-burning thriller expertly intertwines themes of betrayal, secrets, and danger. It’s a dark "why choose" romance with mature themes and a complex plot, making it a perfect choice for fans of intense, emotionally charged stories. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a gripping and twist-filled read.

As a devoted reader, I’ve had my fair share of romance novels, but Fallen Princess stands out in a league of its own. Marian Andrew tells a captivating tale that combines the glitz of stardom, the ache of betrayal, and the pulse-pounding danger that lurks in the shadows.

Fallen Princess takes readers on a whirlwind ride through the highs of stardom, the lows of betrayal, and secrets unveiled. The slow-burn romance, suspenseful plot, and British-American crossover add layers of intrigue. And yes, this is a “why choose” novel, where the main character has and ends up with more than one love interest.

Lastly, the book’s exploration of themes like fame, privacy, and the dark side of celebrity culture could spark thoughtful discussions among readers, making it not just an entertaining read but also a conversation starter.

Eden had a bad start in the original band with the four guys, but they worked her way into her heart and eventually her bed. Being Americas chart topping band and a secret polly relationship, they had it good until it wasn't. One night changed all their lives.

What a great story about a teenage band that breaks up badly and finds each other years later. Working through each characters trauma and trust issues and finding their way back to each other was a great read.

It was like the plot never took a breather. When they weren't at it, there was some serious drama going on, and it always kept you guessing.

Okay, so I struggled with the dialogue sometimes. While most was hot, some of the spicy times were cringy. E.g. when her thoughts while looking at his peen were along the lines of 'hello, I'm going to reintroduce myself'. Also the guys are very English. So they have strong accents, but some of them don't make sense, and the word 'minging' is overused and used at odd times. Also, one calls her lass - which is Scottish.

And tiny detail (for me) I felt that the past, thoughts, and feelings were reiterated so many times. I understand learning about what happened before in small drabs throughout, but it got a bit repetitive.

Other than that minor rant, I really did love this.

"Because when it's our time to be together, I don't want
it to be a fleeting moment of weakness in your life. Mark
my words when I say I will take your soul and possess it.
You will belong to me, princess. I'm not just a passing
breeze in your life, and I have no plans to let you go."

"I guess the all-black works, but honestly, the color matches everything. My hair, my eyeliner, my mascara, my heart, soul, sense of humor. It's just an easy color to
wear."

“Siren, it goes without saying that my three moods are: hungry as fuck, horny as fuck, tired as fuck.”

My thoughts: This started off with an intense situation! When I saw the blurb and saw four men? It was an immediate yes to read 😅 and also the girl on the cover is STUNNING! The book was written with multiple POV: Eden, Jagger, Callum, Asher, Haze. It got me confused on who looked like what just because there are so many characters involved but I still enjoyed it. This was a bit lengthier than I was expecting, at 454 pages but it is packed with spicy scenes, and suspense. I liked Eden’s character, she went through so much trauma and refused to let her fear run her life any longer. That ending was wild! The author almost had me there! Without giving away too much of the book, I definitely recommend reading it! I enjoyed this and you will too if you like dark adult romance “why choose” novels with deep plot, slow burn, suspense and thriller aspects.

Who doesn't love a good stand alone, am I right?

Fallen Princess is my first time reading a rockstar romance and it did not disappoint!
🎸 Second Chance
🎸 Spicy, spicy scenes 👌
🎸 RH/Why choose
🎸 Stalker vibes
🎸 Strong plot
🎸 Suspense
🎸 Standalone book

Marian has nailed the balance of heavy spice while still maintaining a really good plot. There are so many twists and turns that when you think you have the mystery solved, another gets thrown in the mix so you are left still guessing right until the end! The ending was so damn nail-biting, you're left screaming at your book!

What made this book unique was that 4 of the main characters were Brits and 1 main character American, the writing was done so accordingly which made it entertaining especially with Callum's hot-headed personality!

My favorite character if I had to choose would have to be Storm 😭

If you are looking for a standalone book to read, I recommend giving this one a crack. You won't be disappointed.

Thank you @marian_andrew_books & #netgalley for allowing me this ARC and giving me the opportunity to review it!
