All I can say is that Keim has done an awesome job with this one. I loved every minute of it.
I stayed up all night reading it it was so very good.
Wow! What a story!
I loved Whitney. She's a brave young woman who has handled the toughest thing that life can throw at her.
I was really happy to be back in the setting of Napa Valley. What a beautiful place! "Sigh"
I'm sad to see this series end as I've loved in getting know this family quite well. I've felt lie they've become mine. Especially GG.
5 stars for another well written novel that I didn't want to end. I highly recommend this one too!
My thanks for a copy of this book I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine.

Another great book by Judith Keim. I had not read books 1 and 2 yet, will have to go back, but Ms. Keim does a great job with the characters and story that I was not lost. I will be going back to get those. Whitney was under a lot of pressure, and losing her co-star was the last straw. She need to get a way. Luckily, her GG needed her and her sisters to take care of the cottage that was kept when Lilac Lake Inn was sold. As she settles in, she finds that being near her sisters, and finding love was just was Whitney needed.

"Love Under The Stars" by Judith Keim is a heartwarming and enchanting romance novel set against the picturesque backdrop of Napa Valley, California.

The story follows Emma Andrews, a successful Hollywood actress who decides to take a break from her glamorous but hectic life. Seeking solace and a change of pace, she retreats to a charming vineyard in Napa Valley owned by her childhood friend, Nate Bradshaw. As Emma reconnects with Nate and the serene beauty of wine country, she begins to reassess her priorities and discovers unexpected sparks of romance.

Judith Keim masterfully portrays the idyllic setting of Napa Valley, evoking its vineyards, quaint towns, and breathtaking landscapes with vivid descriptions that immerse readers in the beauty of the surroundings. The vineyard itself becomes a character in the novel, symbolizing renewal, second chances, and the healing power of nature.

The characters in "Love Under The Stars" are well-developed and relatable, each grappling with their own personal challenges and desires. Emma is depicted as a strong and independent woman who is searching for fulfillment beyond the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, while Nate is a grounded and compassionate vineyard owner who values family and tradition.

The romance between Emma and Nate unfolds with a gentle and heartwarming pace, allowing their relationship to blossom naturally amidst the tranquility of the vineyard. Keim skillfully builds their chemistry and emotional connection, capturing the nuances of their growing attraction and mutual respect.

The novel also explores themes of self-discovery, forgiveness, and the importance of following one's heart. As Emma navigates her newfound feelings and reconnects with her roots, she learns valuable lessons about love, authenticity, and the true meaning of happiness.

Love Under the Stars is the third novel in Judith Keim’s Lilac Lake Inn series. This story features eldest Gilford sister, Whitney, as she digs her way out from under the hostile media attacks after the accidental overdose of fellow tv sensation Zane Blanchard. While they had been romantically involved in the beginning, once he took a deep dive into drugs Whitney was done although the studio kept the breakup quiet to keep ratings up.

Once Whitney received the call from her grandmother, GG, it was an easy decision to remove herself from all things Hollywood for a while. With the help of her agent Barbara, Whitney returns to Lilac Lake, NH, to work with her sisters Dani and Taylor to orchestrate GG’s wishes to renovate the cottage that is all their grandmother has left after her sale of the Lilac Lake Inn.

However, getting away from Hollywood wasn’t enough to quell the threats from the Zaniacs. Fearful for her sister’s safety, Dani speaks with police chief Nick Woodruff with whom Whitney had shared a summer romance when they were just out of school. But then, when Whitney becomes involved with working with young people is a community theater endeavor, a new kind of threat arises.

In another lovely tale by Ms. Keim, readers will discover close knit sisters, a loving grandmother, a sweet small town, and a cast of well drawn characters. I did enjoy this book and I do recommend it!

This is the third book in the series, but can be a standalone. It’s the oldest sister Whitney turn to find her HEA. The story has her sisters and GG, her grandmother from the previous books returning. Along with their mystery ghost who is occupying the cottage the three inherited. Whitney is a famed actress who is being stalked by fanatics of Zane her costar and ex boyfriend. She returns to Lilac Lake to grieve the death of Zane due to an overdose and to help her sisters with the renovation of the cottage. Trying to find prospective with where her life should now be going, she finds herself reconnecting with the small town of her childhood past, including her first love.
A sweet read, but for me seemed to be a bit too corny and lacking. Maybe if I read the previous books it may have been different, but I don’t really think it would make a difference. Thank you #NetGalley for this ARC. The opinions expressed are my own. #TheLilacLakeInn#Series #LoveUndertheStars

This is the concluding book to the Lilac Lake Inn series. The last sister, who is a famous actress is dealing with the death of her former love, an actor who died of a drug overdose, after years of addiction. She is also dealing with the unhappy reaction from his fans.

The cottage is approaching completion but there is still the matter of a possible ghost in the attic. Whitney hasn't felt the presence of a ghost, but her sisters have.

Whitney has also been surprised to have a former love rekindled, right there at Lilac Lake.

This series features strong, loving women who are talented, loving, and open to new life opportunities. Their intimate love lives are behind closed doors, but they are willing to share some details. This story is an overall happy story, but their is some angst and worry. Another great book that would be a wonderful add to a summer reading list. I would recommend reading the first two books in the series before this one, but it isn't required to fully enjoy this one.

Book three of the Lilac Inn series centers on Whitney, who returns to help her sisters restore a cottage. After her Hollywood career ends in turmoil, Whitney faces blame for her ex-boyfriend Zane’s drug-related death. In Lilac Lake, she sets up a children's theater, encountering opposition from a disapproving father and online threats. As she reconnects with her high school boyfriend, Nick, and deals with a ghostly mystery, Whitney contemplates leaving Hollywood behind for a fresh start. The story celebrates sisterhood, love, and new beginnings, blending romance, mystery, and familial bonds.

This is my first book in the Lilac Lake Inn series. While I liked the story well enough, I can't say I'm going to go back to read the first two. The characters were fine but not engaging. I wasn't invested in the main characters although I did really like the grandmother, GG. The ghost in the cabin was interesting and I'd have liked more of that storyline. Maybe it was covered in the other books. I liked the old flame to current flame plot and was glad it worked out for everyone.

The third sister finds her significant other. A sweet story. I did read the first, but not the second one in this series. Not a fan of ghosts, so I usually don't read those stories. It did add a little mystery to the tale. Appreciate the lack of intimate details. Thanks to the publisher for providing a copy via NetGalley. My review is voluntary.

LOVE UNDER THE STARS is the third book in The Lilac Lake Inn series and it was like I never left the mountains of New Hampshire. We picked up where we left off with love and romance in the air as well as work on the cottage.

The characters had added layers to them and once again sisters, Whitney, Dani and Taylor tell the story in alternating chapters. This is Whitney and Nick's story and we get to see them go all in until Whitney backs off. She has a lot going on in her life even though she's stepped back from her acting career. She's getting involved in their new community of Lilac Lake and is enjoying the friendships she's making or recapturing. Their grandmother GG is still the one they go to for advice and it was nice to see the relationship between the sisters strengthen but also how they feel about their grandmother.

There is a good flow to the story and the sisters are included along with their fiance's even though it's mainly Whitney's story. There are nice descriptions of the home, the cottage, the lake and the small town. There are multiple stories being told that are woven together nicely. There is closure on several fronts but there seems to be more stories to tell with some of the other characters so I felt there were some loose ends. There is a happily ever after that was portrayed in the epilogue but it seemed rushed.

I gave it 4.5 stars but rounded to 5 stars here and on other sites.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Love Under the Stars is book 3 in The Lilac Lake Inn series by Judith Keim.
I adore the characters in this book. They all feel like friends I have known for years. as I am reading.
The three sisters, Whitney, Dani and Taylor are working together to fix the cottage given to them by GG. It is a task that takes the talent of all the sisters.
The story mainly focuses on Whitney and Nick the town sheriff. The chemistry between these two just jumps off the page and wraps its arms around me.
I cannot explain how wonderful this series is and how much you will enjoy reading it.
Pick up this entire series and get ready to be swept away with the sisters and the entire town!
Thank you NetGalley, Judith Keim and Wild Quail Publishing for the copy of Love Under The Stars. This is my personal review.

The Guilford sisters have all moved back to their grandmother's property in order to keep one family cottage in the family after G.G. sells the Lilac Lake Inn. The stipulation with the new owner is at least one sister must live in the cabin for six months out the year. One drawback.is that it appears the cabin is haunted.

Whitney had recently come home after her co-star and ex-boyfriend Zach, dies of an overdose. He left Whitney to inherit everything and she is going to use it to start programs for children.

As Whitney settles in she reunites with her ex-boyfriend Nick, the chief of police, after an online group.of disgruntled fans blame Whitney for Zach's death and vow to get even.

The relationship of the three sisters and their grandmother is very well written, the reader can feel the love. They complement each other and their skill sets are perfect for the renovation and working hard to solve the mystery of the ghost and setting her free.

Great town and people. Like most small communities everyone knows everyone else which surprisingly makes the ghostly presence not easy to figure out.

Whitney is angry that Zane, her costar died rather than enter rehab. He left everything to Whitney, so she decided to set up a foundation for children with mental health issues. Many fans blamed Whitney for Zane’s death. Whitney’s grandmother left Whitney and her sisters a cottage on Lilac Lake. Renovations were helping her keep her mind off Zane. Nick, the police chief, whom she had a crush on years ago, was asked to keep an eye out for her safety. When he gets hurt on duty, Whitney doesn’t know if she can continue to be interested in him. I have read other books about Lilac Lake and enjoyed the warmth of the sisters and grandmother. Whitney and Nick could have added a lot of interest to the story, but I felt she was too obsessed about the dangers he faced in his job. That got old.

What a lovely book. This is Whitney’s and Nick’s story. This book has so much heart to it. The mystery of the ghost is revealed. This is such a good feel book. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this advanced copy. I enjoy Ms. Keim's novels. They're always heartwarming and this novel is as well. Whitney is trying to escape Hollywood and the death of her ex boyfriend after a drug overdose. Her sisters and grandmother GG are helping her settle in to life at Lilac Lake. As the sisters renovated a house left to them by GG, they are confronted with a ghost story. Whitney sets up a play for the kids in town for a summer activity. The local bully dad tries to intervene when his son wants to participate. His drunken, abusive behavior not only affects his family but catches the eye of the police chief and is sent off to rehab. Whitney and the police chief rekindle their romance. The love and support the sisters have for each other is touching. As always, there is a little drama but everything resolves at the end.
