This book is really cute for young children obsessed with all things trucks (and there are just so many kids that dig trucks!) The drawings are super cute with animals portraying the workers/operators. This is a quick bedtime read and the rhyming keeps it flowing for antsy kids. However, there were a few rhymes that really threw the story/flow off for me.... i.e. control/cold and the lines "Look for truck in city streets, For tractors marking farm retreats." I didn't understand the cadence there. Maybe it was just me....
Overall, a nice quick read for young kids crazy about trucks and machinery.
This is an interesting and useful book that will teach children about everyday activities that are completely normal for adults but new and fascinating for them.
The warm color scheme of the illustrations is truly stunning and has so many details that you can spend hours contemplating.
Overall, it's a good book for little ones to discover how the world of transportation works.
*Thanks to NetGalley uk, the publishers and the author for the ARC*
Very informative book about trucks but I felt it was a little bland and not much fun for children to read. Not sure why animals were used instead of people.
I loved everything about this book! The illustrations were done beautifully, with pops of color and cozy nostalgic vibes. I loved that the story rhymed and it is also very informative. This one will be a hit for both kids and parents.
This story is perfect for young readers who are intrigued in how transportation works. The illustrations and animals in this book were so fascinating. I know children will love learning about various modes of truck use. I could definitely see this being a great bedtime story.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with access to read this book!
I was unable to open this book. It looks like a cute story though. My husband is a truck driver so thought this would be a cute read.
A cute little picture book showing a bunch of different trucks and how they are used.
My truck loving son really enjoyed it. My daughter liked that there are no people in the story and has animals doing the jobs along with the trucks!
I would recommend it for any vehicle loving kid!
Clever use of rhyming on the pages when reading the text. There are also clear illustrations for young children to understand.
Inclusivity about men and women and there is no gender rolls present in the book.

I requested this book because my kid is obsessed with trucks. I know I know sounds weird but the thing when she couldn't sleep at night we used to show her vehicles on the road late night, and guess what what's that you see on the roads at late night? Yes of course you guessed that.
This is a good story , giving information about various kinds of trucks. She enjoyed it. Simple to understand for young kids.

My Opinion
The rhyming within the book was great for kids. The illustrations were cute. It showed how all of the different trucks help everyone and the animal characters made the book fun. The length of the book is good, it is not too long but it is able to tell a good story. The ending was my favorite and brought in a great aspect of the family.
This was a cute book filled with a great assortment of trucks and tractors. The animals made it fun as well.
The perfect bedtime story! Great for kids with short attention spans and it’s an easy read. The illustrations were so adorable and helped put the story together. I always love a book with rhymes. It has so many trucks and all their different functions. I am excited to purchase this when it releases.
Thank you to the author, the publisher, and NetGalley for this e-ARC.
This book was very cute and perfect for a little one who loves construction vehicles! The message wasn’t profound or new at all by any means, but the illustrations were cute and my kiddos enjoyed it. I would say the ideal age range for this would be 2-3y.
This children’s book was absolutely adorable. Cute story and beautiful pictures. This is something I will definitely have to buy for my kids. I think especially my son would enjoy this one. He loves trucks.
This book was adorable! The rhyming cadence was great for young kids and fast paced for those kids with shorter attention spans. I could see my 2 1/2 year old really enjoying this story and engaging with it. The illustrations are adorable, colorful and very full of detail. They support the text of the story while adding additional detail for children to engage with visually while listening to the rhyming cadence of the words.
I loved the animal characters and of course trucks are always of interest! This would be a great addition to the library for any young child and would keep the interest of children through a few cycles of development. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the eARC to read and review!
This is a lovely cheerful little book with pleasing rhyming couplets and brightly coloured illustrations of both wild and domesticated animals as they undertake a variety of driving jobs. There are many differing types of lorries or trucks that are seen in both our towns and countryside included here.
The length of this book makes it ideal for bedtime reading as well as the start of an activity around spotting or drawing lorries, diggers, and construction vehicles. Grandpa's truck at the end isn't as popular here as in America but that is my only slight grumble.
I was able to read an advanced copy of this thanks to NetGalley and the publishers, AM Ink Publishing, but the opinions expressed are my own. A fun book for younger readers this would be a good early years gift as most pre-schoolers love a fire engine or digger!
