Lord of the Rakes was the first book I’ve read by Darcie Wilde, but it will not be the last as I will be seeking out other books by this author. This is a well written, very spicy, hot historical romance. I was very pleasantly surprised with this read. This book was tantalizing and a different pace than a normal sweet romance, although it is exciting and definitely worth it.
