This author duo cannot do no wrong!!! Amazing, off the charts chemistry and absolute cuteness!!!! Great escapism!
This was everything I would have hoped for from this final book in the series! I absolutely loved Issac and Sunny's story, and even though I'm sad it's over, I'm happy we went for this ride!
I really love this entire Christmas Notch series. I currently own A Merry Little Meet Cute and it sits proudly on my shelf. I was BEYOND excited to have received an ARC for A Jingle Bell Mingle, and honestly to just to read Isaac's story. He was always a sad little boy band boy to me, and I really felt for him.
Sunny is an amazing FMC. She has a ton of spunk, and to me, really acts like a grown ass woman the whole time. Not to mention mr. Tumnus who will always be the MVP. In general the two Mc's were a great foil for one another.
I didn't need the b'plot of the Christmas miracle, but I did really like the Cat lady investigators and wish they had a prequel backstory or something. Anyways I highly recommend!
Sunny moves in with Issac after attending their friends wedding and re-meeting at a bar. Issac is attracted to Sunny, but is conflicted after losing his wife. Sunny is fine by this, because she Isn’t looking for anything serious. But with feelings always comes complications. This was a cute, spicy rom-com, a tad bit predictable, but aren’t rom-com’s usually?
This is the third book in the series, and I have read all 3 now. I will say that this one was my least favorite, but I do love the humor that these two authors always use! That is what kept this book going for me. Also, the characters are memorable. Although each book has been released a year apart, I never felt the need to go back for refreshers on the series. But because of that, I feel like I was kinda overly sick of the whole porn-star turned movie-star stuff. I do also believe that this book (any of them really) could be read as stand-alone or in any order.
Thank you NetGalley and Harper Collin’s Publishing for the E-Arc of Jingle Bell Mingle in exchange for my honest review
Oh this title is just absolutely adorable! I loved this entire series, and truly enjoyed reading these by Sierra Simone, and Julie Murphy. The series has been fun, full of interesting characters and the most hilarious banter.
This one, A Jingle Bell Mingle, has been my favorite - oh how I laughed! The banter was just top-notch, There was also grief, and finding love after heartbreak which was so well written and amazing. The entire book is full of the most quirky, yet loving characters with witty dialogue, and oh the spice! The spice was extremely spicy, and so well done. The second chance love was well written and fun, full of moments of complete joy, utter sadness, and all around good fun. This book is an absolute must read for anyones Christmas reading list!
Thank you so much to NetGalley, Julie Murphy, and Sierra Simone for this arc in exchange for my honest review!
This book was like the rest of the series. It was okay nothing big, The whole series is like a solid three star
A Jingle Bell Mingle by Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone is the perfect holiday romance to cozy up with. This final book in the Christmas Notch series follows Isaac, a former boyband member and Sunny, a free-spirited screenwriter. After a one-night stand, they find themselves snowed in together at Isaac's mansion.
Isaac and Sunny both have emotional baggage, Isaac from his past as a young widow and Sunny with her complicated family relationships. The authors blend humor and grief really well here. I also love the found-family in this one!
There’s also a hint of mystery woven in, and while I felt like it was somewhat of a distraction from the main story, I'm sure many people will love this unique element.
If you love holiday romances that balance laughter, depth, and swoony moments, A Jingle Bell Mingle is a must-read. Such a heartfelt end to a memorable series. Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5!
what a fitting goodbye to this fun, festive world. once enjoyed every book in this series, and this book was no exception to that rule. it was wildly fun, full of heart and emotion, and 15/10 on the spice scale (as per usual).
This book was a little different than what I am used too and I struggled a bit with the prologue part.
This book follows Sunny, who accidentally pitches and sells her very first screenplay, and Isaac, a grieving musician currently on hiatus, expected to release his Christmas album. The banter in this book was FUN and refreshing. The grief part did what it needed too without being depressing.
A Jingle Bell Mingle is the last book in this Christmas Notch series and for me it was my least favorite. I dont know if its the characters that didnt resonate with me or what but it just wasnt my cup of tea. I feel like we did get decent character growth and the topics were heavier than normal. If you read any of the others you know this is as wide open of a door as any book can be so be warned.
I love Julie Murphy, and if you're looking for a fun, Christmassy romance, this series set in a crazy small town called Christmas Notch will scratch that itch. This one has the least plausible romance IMHO, but it brings back the characters you know and love, and it's a fun read.
I was so excited to get approved for this arc and was NOT disappointed. I loved it so much and cannot wait to read more
The Christmas Notch series has consistently been fun holiday steam, and this conclusion is no different. I really love the way that grief is woven into this book, and the chosen family friendships are still charming. Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone have done such a great job balancing light and spicy with emotional and sincere, I really enjoy it!
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an advance copy of this novel.
I thoroughly enjoyed the third and last book in the Christmas Notch series. Just as much holiday magic, a great group of characters and SPICE as the first two books.
I’m sad to see the Christmas Notch story end and would love to hear from them again in the future.
In A Jingle Bell Mingle, Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone bring holiday magic to life with an unconventional and hilarious romance that’s as heartwarming as it is spicy. This story follows Sunny Palmer, a spirited adult film actress turned screenwriter, who heads to Christmas Notch, Vermont, to finish a holiday movie for the ultra-wholesome Hope Channel. Her creative spark has dimmed, but after a one-night fling with Isaac Kelly—a moody, reclusive ex-boy band star with his own artistic struggles—things get a whole lot more interesting. Its the perfect spicey holiday romance that I have read in a while. It has the signature style of these two amazing writers. I love them together and I will read everything and anything they will write.

Arc received from the publisher; all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Murphy and Simone have done it again! A Jingle Bell Mingle was a great way to finish off the series. The plot flowed well, characterization was great and despite their flaws, the characters were very lovable and easy to root for. I would recommend this book/series to anyone looking for a little holiday romance with a side of SPICE. This book was a great way to get me into the holiday spirit. I think this would be a great addition to library shelves, as it has just the right balance of fluff and smut - which seems to be what people look for in their holiday romances!
This gave me all the Christmas vibes in the most fun, spicey way and I am obsessed. Love the spice, love the plot, love the FMC's cat. This is my favorite of this series.
I’ve been reading the whole series, and this is my favorite of the three I think. For me, the first half was forgettable and, at times, made me cringe, but the second half was sweet and drew me right back in. I love a good second chance/redemption story, and I did enjoy the lively cast of characters. However, I think the beginning was a bit much with listing so many characters and throwing them in. Even with having read the previous ones, it was too confusing, and I wished I had a synopsis/guide to all the characters.
Getting a Christmas book from Julia Murphy and Sierra Simone every year might be better than Christmas itself. I hope this continues until the end of time. This book was absolutely amazing!
I have enjoyed this series and this one was no exception. It still had the fun and humor of the first books but it definitely also had some heavy stuff, and was well done.
Isaac and Sunny. They are a grumpy sunshine. Or more a recluse and a sunshine. They had a one night stand at a wedding (a wedding we all know!). Her living conditions are abysmal and he convinces her to move into his mansion. And things get interesting!
I loved that they truly become friends in the process. And love kind of sneaks up on them. I loved all the cast of characters that we've grown to love in the prior books. And how could you not love the old cat lady group chat that Isaac is in.
Thanks to NetGalley and Avon & Harper Books for an ARC.
