This was adorable and heartfelt with lots of spice and interesting side plots. I realized I skipped the second novel in the series and there are some novellas as well that I need to catch up on, but I was OK reading this after only having read the first book in the series. Everyone is back in Christmas Notch and cute/ ridiculous hijinks ensue. The characters' struggles with grief felt very realistic and I was rooting for them as much as I wanted to shake sense into them at times!

Look, if Sierra Simone writes it, its going to be good. And that's exactly what this was. While the prologue threw me off originally, overall I really enjoyed this book

First off thank you to NetGalley for this ARC! 🀍

Oh my gosh was this good!!! I love Sierra Simone so had really high hopes going into this book-and I wasn’t disappointed. This book had grumpy sunshine/one roof/opposites attract and I ate it up (like literally, finished it in just a couple of days!!). Loved both characters and their banter, it also followed the first two books really well, so if you enjoyed the previous books in this series you definitely need to read this one. Sunny and Isaac were my favorites and I’m giving this book five stars! ⭐️

This isn’t your regular old raunch com with holiday themed shenanigans tempered with a healthy dose of snow melting, Christmas tree incinerating (not literally) spicy times, this is also a poignant story of two lost souls finding each other and bonding over grief and their polar opposite ways of dealing with it. Filthy but make it sweet, like a spicy lil egg nog. With of course a liberal scattering of holiday shenanigans and cozy cold cases and career resurrection schemes in the background. All this with the giant hug that’s the Teddy Ray Fletcher extended found family and a mildly murderous cat make for what is hands down the best installment of the series.

Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone are one of my favorite writing duos, because they clearly have so much fun writing together. I've loved every book in this series so far because of the raunchy, joyful tone, and the unabashed delight in the pursuit of pleasure while still addressing more serious issues. In this case, the issue is grief, which they examine from a sensitive angle and with realistic implications for the characters.

Sweet and spicy! If you have been following from the beginning then this story does not disappoint. I love holiday stories and the sweet yet spicy mix in these novels is just perfect :)

I loved, loved, loved this book so much! A Jingle Bell Mingle is the third book of A Christmas Notch and is by far my favorite of the series. This book has loveable characters, it is emotionally complex and has great character development, a superb plot and is paced perfectly. Isaac and Sunny have amazing chemistry, and I adore their story, and the cat, Mr. Tumnus. The spice is scorching hot, and I mean HOT! I was giggly, blushing, and was smiling so much in this book. The descriptive details were phenomenal! This book gave true Christmas vibes with the chilly snowy nights and snuggled up next to a cozy fireplace. This will definitely be a Christmas time re-read! Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone truly did a wonderful job with this story.

The story follows Sunny who is a part-time adult film star who is trying to write a screenplay for a movie she pitched. While in the small town of Christmas Notch she reconnected with sad boy Isaac for another steamy one-night stand. The following morning Sunny's motel room turns into a nightmare and Isaac offers for Sunny and her possibly demonic cat to come stay at his mansion. Sunny agrees, and they soon discover they both have a creative block. Sunny will help him find his muse and Isaac will help her find more about the local lore.

Christmas Notch is always such a fun place to visit. This series is just silly and over the top and so so steamy that it's a joy to read. I got this on ebook, but love the audio narration so much that I waited to hear Joy Nash's version of Sunny and I am not sad. Sunny and Isaac are both walking through grief and when they decide to work together and live together to get unstuck in their creative brains, it's all chemistry and fun.

I love forced proximity. I love the found family and friendships in this series. I just think this is delightful.

If you are looking for a fun holiday read, then this series is what you should start with. Sunny and Isaac are from the same friend group and have undeniable chemistry. When Sunny moves to his town to research a script, she ends up having to move in with him. The two are able to help each other on their respective projects (especially when they give up the ghost of finding his new muse). While they uncover the truth of the town legend (with help from Isaac’s fellow hobbyists), the two grow closer, but how can he move on from his loss? Sunny knows a thing or two about that and knows her worth, even the Lane Bryant and barstool references were spot on. The ending felt like such a nice conclusion to this group.

Thanks for the opportunity to read this advanced copy. I have read other books in this series, so I wasn’t surprised by the content. If you don’t like spice, explicit details, definitely skip this book. Best way to describe is Hallmark meets the adult industry. I enjoyed the plot and found this to be a good, quick read.

Thank you netgalley for the chance to read this!
I struggled with this a ton. I think the cover is misleading (and that could be my own fault for picking on a whim and not really giving it a ton of scrutiny) and nowhere does it say its part of a series. If I had known the level of spice/language/setting I was walking into, or that I would be thrust into the middle of completely developed characters, I would have not selected this. The prologue was incredibly confusing.Β

It definitely picked up a bit. Sunny and Isaac were adorable together and their banter was funny. I thought their backgrounds provided a great and unique juxtaposition...but this just wasn't Christmasy? Like its set in Christmas, it has a Christmas miracle, but its by no means a Christmas book and I think thats just really missing a mark.

I'm still giving this 3 stars because I can see someone who came in with the right vantage point would love this, and the spice was SPICY. But it just wasn't for me.

Ugh. Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone make the perfect combination. Their holiday series has me swooning and sweating over these characters. These stories come in with a purpose, such as holiday feels, a lot of smut, and a dash of your typical romance. I can't wait to see if these two will ever collaborate outside of this series.

They did it again….the third time to be exact! Julie Murphy & Sierra Simone hit the nail on the mistletoe with this one. Back to Christmas Notch we go and FINALLY Sunny & Isaac’s story. I’ve been waiting for this one! Sunny has been one of my favorite supporting characters in the first two books, so I’ve been anticipating this one. And was excited to learn more about the mysterious Isaac Kelly.

The journey follows Sunny & Isaac hooking up for a one…errr second night stand following Bee & Nolan’s wedding. They find themselves as a hook up turned roommates to roommates with bennies…oh my! Sunny is writing her first screenplay for a Hope Channel original Christmas movie while Isaac is trying to complete his so called final album without a muse. The mayhem continues in Christmas Notch for the third season!

I had never ready any books by Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone, and I was unprepared for the amount of spice in this book. This isn't a typical book that I like but I did enjoy how the addressed the loss of a loved one and finding love after that loss. I felt like the writing focused more on the spice at the sacrifice of a fluid plot. I wanted to love this but felt that it was based towards a younger reader.

I just could not get through this book and ended up DNFing it. I love a holiday romance and really hoped it would get better but the writing style was just not one I enjoyed

The final installment in the series does not disappoint! A bit of a mystery, plenty of Christmas touches and the spice this series is known for make it a fantastic holiday read.

What can I say? I celebrate the joy of reading a steamy melt the icicles from my grumpy soul and snow heart read! Thank you Avon/Harper for the continued joy of the Christmas Notch reads.

These books are my not so secret secret holiday treat, my once a year I am going to really escape read. If you have read the other two books in this series, you know what you are going to get: fun sexy steamy scenes, body positivity, and themes on self confidence and health relationships blended with self-acceptance. So yeah mostly it's steamy fun but I love how it is blended with these other themes.

I really love the blending of themes on Hollywood and celebrity in these books and the wedding weekend setting in A Jingle Bell Mingle was just a perfect pairing with the previous two books!

The third book of this trilogy flows seamlessly from the previous! Loveable, larger than life personality, Sunny with the brokenhearted heart throb, Isaac, no one is forgotten! I love how the stories weave together so you still get little tidbits of how the other characters lives are still progressing as well! In search for a Christmas miracle, while discovering their own little miracle at work in this beautiful Christmas Notch! The book was fun, their personalities shining throughout the book! I enjoy them working through their struggles together. I wish there was a little more development on the Charlie front and how that relationship worked through into being its own Christmas miracle too! These two authors definitely are a dream team!

The dynamic duo that are bffs Julie and Sierra have delivered once again a great read with a fun smutty gloomy Christmas πŸŽ„ love miracle with Issac and Sunny love story and HEA.Β Β

Christmas Notch is once again the place where magic, love and smut prevail.Β

Issac and Sunny cannot get over their one night stand from 2 years ago and when they find themselves together as roommates trying to smother their flames πŸ”₯ is useless.Β

Decisions are made to be roommates with benefits and there’s plenty of benefits, eating🀀, fingeringπŸ–– and swallowing πŸ’¦ involved.Β

Both Isaac and Sunny are living with their own grief and holding back from their real feelings.Β

But when finally Sunny decides to put her heart on the line, Isaac’’s heart is no longer available, it was never available according to Issac after he lost his wife.

Β He wants to keep living in his grief, until their friends set him straight and he realizes that he has been loving Sunny from the start.Β

And he will give Sunny everything he can.Β

This isΒ  a fun smutty gloomy Christmas πŸŽ„ read, I cried, I grieved and I rejoice when Sunny and Issac finally got their πŸ’© shiit together.Β

I’m sad to see the end of the Christmas Notch series but I can’t wait for more from the best bffs writing duo that is Julie and Sierra.

This story was absolutely adorable!! Sunny & Isaac are beautiful together.
I truly enjoyed the adventure that the authors took us on to learn about the towns history & solve a little bit of mystery.

The relationship btwn Sunny & Isaac was so achingly sweet, the pining, the desire, and the LONGING. It was too good. The way that they worked so well together, complimented each other, and truly brought out the best of each other was great to see.

The authors handled the grief that Isaac is experiencing delicately & realistically. The way it was woven into the fabric of his being and was his truest hindrance to finding happiness again was like a whole other character to the story. Like the dark cloud overhead. But watching the cloud slowly fade away & for Isaac to free himself of his grief shackles was like a breath of fresh air.

This is a great example of not judging a book by its cover (and maybe why reading blurbs is a good idea). I thought I was getting a cute Christmas rom com but instead I was thrown into the world of adult film stars and their love lives. I loved it! It was fun, spicy, and the characters were just lovable.

I also loved all the nods to our past shaping our future and the things we do to protect ourselves.
