Umm, not sure what I think. It was different. Not exaclty something I loved but I didn't hate it either.
A beautifully written book, Making Sweet Music will captivate readers who like stories of community, family, and the life-changing impact of music. I wasn’t quite sure what was going on when I first started reading, but I quickly caught on and didn’t let go. A complex, realistic story of loves in life, each with its own misunderstandings. Jeanine Lauren's writing is entertaining and emotional, with a careful attention to detail and character development.
The perfect cosy story you want to read when you feel blue or life is a bit too much.
Heartwarming, cute and well plotted. I liked the the pleasant and well-developed characters and it made me smile and have a good time.
Recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher for this ARC, all opinions are mine
This was the perfect feel-good, cozy book to curl up and read on a Friday evening. I cried, and I laughed and I fell in love with all the characters in Sunshine Bay. I loved the portrayal of second chance love and community. This book showed me why it is important to choose to love your partner everyday, and the importance of loving yourself.
This won’t be my last read of Jeanine Lauren’s work!
I absolutely loved this inspiring book! It has been keeping me company while I've been battling severe health issues and in and out of the hospital. I love a good second act book and my hope is it will inspire alot of other woman a well that second chances are possible!
