Loved this! Had been waiting and waiting for Aurora's story and wasn't disappointed. Ms. Ayers never lets us down, but my only issue was I wish it had been longer. Unlike her other books, no foreshadowing of who the next book will be about, so impatiently waiting in the meanwhile.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Aurora takes brash determination to new heights in her quest for carnal knowledge. Tenaciously pursuing Worth, forcing him to acknowledge his own desire and brazenly refusing to take no for an answer. Watching her effortlessly take down the practiced libertine, taming him to a lovesick husband was a delight. Her tenacity often had me laughing out loud. I especially loved the second chance romance for Aunt Lottie, a character who has leapt off the page into our hearts. This story is fun, spicy and utterly romantic. A wonderful conclusion to a family I’ve come to love wrapped up with a perfect family scene bidding farewell to the Deadly Sins and hello to happily ever after!

A Curious Lady And A Reluctant Rake

A lovely story about the youngest „Deadly Sin“ and a great finale to the series. I have to admit I didn't get on with Aurora at first, I really didn’t like how she blackmailed and coerced Worth, but as the book progressed I grew fond of her character. Worth was very likable and I liked how his character developed throughout the book, revealing why he is so against love and marriage.
The story is well written and fun to read, it has emotional depths, a good plot and lots of steamy love scenes. There is also another unexpected love story, which I found very touching and heartwarming. And finally, you meet all the characters from the previous books again and once again experience the strong family bond between the siblings, their relatives by marriage and friends.

Aurora has been infatuated with Worth for years and has tried to get his attention, but he has more or less ignored her since her debut.
When she meets him at a garden party where she catches him in a tryst with one of his lovers, she asks him to indulge her curiosity about sexual relations and tutor her, otherwise she'll ask other men in her circle of acquaintances and cause another Sinclair scandal.

Worth has also been attracted to Aurora, but she's his friend's younger sister and he's definitely not interested in marriage and love.
When Aurora makes her preposterous request, he knows he can't help himself and reluctantly agrees to help her in order to save her reputation...

An enjoyable read that I am happy to recommend!

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is another well written novel by Kathleen Ayers, I have read all of the books in this series and the storyline is interesting and the novel fits in well. I enjoyed revisiting the characters from the previous books. The first 1/3 of the book was a bit slow for me and I appreciated when things started to ‘heat up between Aurora and Worth. I don’t turn down an opportunity to read a Kathleen Ayers book.

I hate to say goodbye to a series that I have enjoyed so much, especially one that has made me laugh out loud numerous times. Especially the first book in this series and again in this last book, Sinfully Wanton.
I was excited to see how this series would end and how and with whom Aurora Sinclair, the fifth of the Five Deadly Sins, would find her match. We had already met her powers earlier in the series, Mr. Charles Worthington or Worth and I suspected he would ultimately be the one for Aurora.
We start off in the books with our gal Aurora getting a bit tipsy while wandering towards a hedge maze and there the fun begins as Aurora literally stumbles on Worth in a very naughty position and this the beginnings of Aurora and Worth truly begins.
Aurora asks Worth to educate her on all things related to a physical nature and although he refuses initially due to his long standing desire, he relents and decides to give her a book that will educate and educate her it does indeed. His plans backfire when she wants to try out some of the things she reads and who better to teach her than Worth.
As of course with any good romance the push and pull of these two is both entertaining and endearing and make you root for them to actually just fall in love, which they do making for a thoroughly enjoying read but this book is even better as it gives you 2 for the price of one as when reading about Aurora and Worth we are treated to Aunt Lottie (the naughtiest and least effective chaperone ever) getting her own happily ever after with a long ago beau, Lord Kenebruke, which was icing on the cake as an ending for this series.

This was the story of the youngest of the “deadly sins” siblings. Aurora is confident and open about her desires and curiosity when it comes to “bedroom matters.” She decides that her brother’s business partner “Worth” is the perfect man to teach her. It is clear from the start that both are attracted and that there is a deep connection, but Worth has some demons which introduces an element of angst as he fights against his attraction and Aurora’s demands that he “teach” her about the erotic side of relationships.

Overall, I enjoyed this story. Ayers always does passion well. This story was not as good as the first two in the series, but still a very enjoyable read. I liked that Aurora knew what she wanted, but I did feel a bit bad for Worth bc she wasn’t about to take no for an answer. Of course it all turned out well in the end.

I loved Aurora and Charles' story - it was such a great ending to this series! From the very beginning of the series, it was clear that Aurora was very much her own person and would need someone special to match her. Though Charles had appeared in other books in this series, I felt I didn't truly get to know him until this book. They fit so well together and I loved seeing how their bickering and snarking built their chemistry together. Aurora really pursued him and it was inevitable that they'd end up together. What a fantastic ending to this series!

Lighthearted entertainment that had me laughing out loud in parts, the novel is, however, very provocative and may offend some readers. Having survived their banishment to Dunnings, the Sinclair family is finding their feet in society, turning the estate around and creating valuable allies. Aurora, the youngest sister, played her part in keeping the family going and now has the opportunity to enjoy society with all its entertainment and as many books as she would like to read. It's a pity that she finds it deadly boring and longs for excitement. Charles Worthington, her brother's good friend, certainly provides that excitement, but he has an aversion to marriage and commitment. It takes a determined lady to win the successful businessman over and to breach the walls of his heart. The novel comes to a sweet conclusion as even Aunt Lottie finds her happy ending. I received a copy of this romance as a gift through Dragonblade Publishing and NetGalley and this is my honest and voluntary review.

The book is very well titled. There is a lot of graphic sex. A young girl who is snubbed by the Ton has a crust on her brother's business partner who is several years older. What man is going to turn down a young, beautiful girl when she asks him to help with her curiosity about sex?,

Thanks to NetGalley for a copy of this ebook and this is my freely given opinion.

I presume this is the end of the series with this fifth book, as this is about the youngest of the Sinclair siblings, Lady Aurora. She is the last of the Deadly Sins as they were dubbed by their hated, but dead, half brother and his spiteful aunt. Thanks to her brother inheriting the Earldom, their fortunes turning around because of the fortuitous discover of coal under their hated estate of Dunnings, and their strengthened social standing thanks to connections such as to the Duke of Ware and his mother, the socially powerful Dowager Duchess, the Sinclairs were hoping to launch Aurora with every advantage, and she was looking forward to her debut. Except things do not go as as she hoped, and she finds herself bored and champing at the restrictions put on young women in Society, and being eyed by the malicious gossips in society waiting for her to show her wanton Sinclair behaviours and proving the gossips and ill wishers right.

She is a misfit who questions whether she even wants to fit in.

An added disappointment is that her friendship with her brother's friend and business partner, Charles Worthington, Worth, has disintegrated. He barely acknowledges her and has never danced with her; not even when she had her debut. Very disappointing, considering her liking of him and a bit of a hidden crush.

Worth is a good friend and business associate of Drew Sinclair. He is also a well known rake. He has no intentions of marrying or seeking a relationship with any woman, not after having had his heart broken after being deeply and sorely betrayed by his former fiancee, with someone very close to him. Since then, he has judged all women in Society against her as a standard, and only seeks temporary physical interludes with jaded widows and bored wives. Thus, when he finds himself suddenly realizing what an attractive woman Aurora has become, he has stayed away from her.

But then Aurora, curious and chafing at the bit, suggests to Worth that she needs to learn more about attraction and physical relations, and challenges him to teach her - threatening to seek another to tutor her if he refuses. Worth is aghast and intrigued - she is offering him what he is fighting his desire for, but he also jealous of others she may look to to teach her, and wants to protect her reputation as well. Worth thinks he finds a way around her tempting proposal by giving her a instructional book of erotica... not realizing she would turn the tables on him, and use the book and her curiosity to tempt and tease him beyond his self-imposed restraints.

A steamy age-gap secret relationship with brother's best friends story that gives a satisfying ending to the series, especially with the second older couple, second chance at love story that is within the story. I just wish that there was a bit of a happy ending also for the widowed Dowager Duchess of Ware, she seemed so sweet/bitter sweet, and wise here, and more of a karmic punishment for both the villainesses of the story.

This series started off okay, but halfway through they started getting really boring and repetitive, couldn’t finish it

Lady Aurora and Charles Worthington are definitely an age gap!
Charles is actually bored with his debauchery I don’t think he realizes it until Aurora! Servicing bored widows to erase the pain of past betrayal!
The participants in the betrayal hit so close to home Charles has a hard time letting go!
Aurora is one of the deadly sins so she is used to be treated disparagingly by the Ton! In spite of her brother in law being a Duke!
The chemistry between these two is off the charts! We have a secondary romance with Aurora’s chaperone with a long lost love!
There are some hilarious moments with that reunion! Charles is a runner! He runs from his emotions, his age and Aurora’s relationship to his business partners!
I stayed up way late and could not put it down! Aurora wants a love match and Charles doesn’t want to marry! Can these two be more opposed!
Charles once he made up his mind and had a long overdue conversation at the cemetery!
You have to read this book! Love this series! Bravo
I received a complimentary copy for my unbiased opinion!

I love a good story and this is definitely one of them.

I really loved the characters and plot. There was no wasting time, no angst, and no hatred which I really appreciated. Sometimes I want none of that and just getting to the core of of the romance.

I found that the characters were very real, believable, and easy to love.

Aurora is in her second season and bored of it. She wants to marry but only for love, she wants some fun, and definitely passion...she is very curious about the latter.

While at a very average and very boring garden party her boredom gets the best of her. She partakes in too many spirits and finds herself a bit foxed. During her explorations she finds a maze and ends up coming upon Worth, her brothers business partner and an old friend of hers.

Worth makes her heart race and because she has a bit more courage than usual she kisses him.
She finds herself in the perfect situation and proposes a deal with an ultimatum. He either teaches her about the passionate aspects of relationships or she'll find someone else who will.

Worth finds himself in a predicament. He is very interested, very intrigued, very attracted to the idea but he has to worry about what her brother will do, her innocence, a potential scandal but on the other hand, he's the safer option than another...so he believes

Worth accepts her proposal but figures a book he has in his possession could be enough information but that leads to more questions, more interest, just more.
This book which should have made his life easy only leads their lessons to become steamy sessions and no matter how much Worth emotionally tries to resist, tries to fight his feelings, he just can't.

I loved that both the H&H really don't pretend to have no attraction between one another and there are no falsehoods.
It was a wonderful story of two friends feelings developing into so much more.

This fun, fast paced, and witty story was truly enjoyable and I loved the journey to their HEA.

I received an ARC, all opinions expressed are my own.

It was a quick read. Though it can be read as standalone but many couples and references are made from previous books in the series .
Aurora stole all the limelight in this book. She drives the story single handedly. I didn't like charles . He was such a passive male lead and a very weak character.
It was a slow burn to my disappointment.
Aurora was such a delight to read as compared to Charles who was utter bore.

The Emerson family headed by the Earl of Emerson is coming back into its own and Jordan the earl and his sister, Tamsen are married. Now the youngest, Aurora Sinclair, has debuted and is in her first season. Curious sexually she has approached her brother's business partner and friend, Charles Worthington, with whom she has spent many hours with before her debut but now he keeps to himself. In fact, although acting the older man and rake he is almost irresistibly attracted to the beautiful and temptingly curved but not yet 20 Aurora. When she suggests he teach her the art of love he declines though cannot imagine her with any other man. So well written and such a delightful and sensually sexual romance that it keeps one's eyes pressed to the pages not wanting to end. Received this arc and have voluntarily reviewed.

This book was a pleasure to read. It is the fifth book in the series but it reads well as a standalone book. The plot concentrates on the complex relationship between Lady Aurora Sinclair and Charles Worthington (Worth).

Lady Aurora and her family are back in society after being away for years. Her eldest brother is now the Earl of Emerson and they are a wealthy family. They also have a reputation in society that some frown upon but they hold their heads high and try to enjoy their new found status and all that comes with it, especially the food and nice clothes; something that was denied to them for years by their older half brother when he became the Earl.
Aurora’s other older brother, Andrew (Drew) is best friends and business partners with Worth who is a rake and sworn off marriage and who Aurora has been in love with since she was younger but she thinks he still sees her as his best friend’s little sister. Worth is well aware of Aurora and how she has grown into a sensuous young woman who he is very attracted to so stays away from her as much as possible, knowing that becoming involved with her would probably ruin his relationship with Drew and the Sinclair family.
Aurora is in her second season and is bored. She isn’t interested in any of the gentlemen in society who are looking for a wife. She is looking for a love marriage and nothing less. Aurora is also very curious about the physical workings of a relationship between a man and woman and she wants Worth to introduce her to the more intimate aspects of a physical relationship, without ruining her. He knows that entertaining her request would be madness and tries other ways to educate her without touching her.
Aurora takes matters into her own hands and the rest of the story is a steamy whirlwind romp between Worth and Aurora, with conflicting mixed messages, a few arguments, Aurora trying to be courted by other men and being thwarted by Worth. There’s a lovely secondary plot involving her wayward chaperone. There are some quirky secondary characters that make this even better to read. Worth has strong feelings against marriage due to a past relationship that he has to overcome if he has any hope of finding true happiness. Their feelings for each other that grow stronger the longer they are together are something that neither have felt before but Worth and Aurora have some soul searching to do before they lose their hearts altogether.
I devoured this book, I couldn’t stop reading it. The plot and all the characters were amazing. The Sinclair family with its extended members are a force to be reckoned with in society and it was a pleasure to read this latest book. I’m now going to read the previous books about the siblings of Aurora and their love stories which I’m sure will be as interesting and enjoyable as this one.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys steamy open door regency romance with a great storyline.
