Amazing, the perfect cozy Christmas read! It’s cheesy and full of holiday cheer and spice! Needs to be added to all holiday tbrs

Falon Ballard is one of my favorite romance authors, so you can guess how excited I was to see she wrote a Christmas novel!!

ALL I WANT IS YOU is short and sweet. It's a second-chance romance between two rival romance authors who get snowed in at a book conference just days before Christmas. They begin using the tension as fuel for their creative writing juices, and it's basically all the fun tropes you could ask for! It's a really fun read, exactly what I want for the holiday season.

I loved how the "second chance" of their relationship was handled. Both characters (dual POV) reflect on their past relationship and what they each could have done better, so there was a lot of character growth in these short 250 pages.

The epilogue is the cutest thing ever!

I loved this Christmas second chance romance between two romance authors! Jess and Nick are bitter exes and professional rivals who find themselves snowed in together after attending an event for their mutual publisher. Can they work through their past to find their own happily ever after?

It had just the right amount of Christmas cozy vibes, a few spicy scenes, and a some of my favorite tropes -- second chance love, snowed in, and one bed with a bit of enemies to lovers mixed in too. This book is short at about 250 pages, so its just the right thing to pick up on a cozy winter evening by the fire!

Jessica and Nick are true enemies. Nemeses. So, when asked by her publisher to present her ex-boyfriend Nick with an award at a holiday ball, Jessica feels sick. Present her ex-boyfriend and enemy with an award?

Turns out, the award isn’t the worst thing that could happen that weekend. After getting snowed in and being forced to stay in the same hotel room (yay, one bed!) Jessica realizes that her feelings for Nick may not be hate after all…

My thoughts:
Ok, I loved this book. I stayed up until 11:30pm reading it. I cried. I rooted. The big gesture at the end was 🤌🏻 chefs kiss. I loved. Do yourself a flavor, and read it.

Tropes:
Enemies to lovers
Christmas romance
One bed

A quick, very spicy second chance romance complete with forced proximity and only one bed. It definitely put me in the holiday spirit and I was rooting for Jess and Nick (New Girl lovers rejoice!) to make it work the entire time.

This was the perfect second-chance romance with a dash of forced proximity, making it the ultimate Christmas season page-turner.

Jessica and Nick, both romance writers (with some *serious* baggage), are caught in the snowstorm of their lives when they’re forced to share a room at a remote inn just before Christmas. Think *enemies to lovers* vibes, but with the added twist of exes turned rivals. The slow-burn tension between them is palpable, and the witty banter keeps things light, even while they’re both struggling with writer’s block.

This book had everything I needed for a holiday palette cleanser: heartwarming moments, sizzling chemistry, and just the right amount of cozy vibes. The fact that it’s set around Christmas just adds to the charm, making it feel like the perfect escape. Jess and Nick are flawed, relatable characters, and their journey back to each other was totally binge-worthy—I finished it in one sitting!

Dare I say, this is the Christmas romance book of the year? I loved this story. It felt very meta- we have two romance authors who used to be together but have broken up, stuck at an inn in a snow storm, forced to share one bed? Say less, I'm all in. I loved it! It was the perfect amount of spice but heart warming. I loved the cozy setting and the banter between our two main characters. I appreciated the Christmas vibes. What more can I say other than I loved this book! I read it in a day and loved every minute of it. Highly recommend!!!

Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for an advanced readers copy of this book. All opinions within this review are my own.

I found this book to be totally swoon worthy! I loved the holiday vibes and the forced proximity/second chance romance story. I found Jessica and Nick to be likable and found myself rooting for a happy ending between them.

I tend to enjoy Falon Ballard's writing and this was no exception. I found myself immediately consumed in the story. I laughed, I teared up at parts, and felt the love the characters had for each other as we get some of the back story of their relationship.

I definitely recommend this for anyone who wants a cute, fast paced , holiday romance!

🎄 ARC Review 🎄

Listen, it's never too early to start reading Christmas romances. And if you don't know where to start, donit with this one!

"All I Want is You" by Falon Ballard gives you all the Christmas vibes with two rival romance authors that are also ex's, and now thanks to a snow storm they are stuck, together, in the same hotel room, with only one bed. Will they ignite their spark again? Will they make each other miserable while they are trapped? I guess you'll have to read it to find out.

Now, Falon NEVER misses anything. From the characters, the plot, the feels, and the spice, everything was absolutely perfect. And not just that, but it has some of my favorite tropes like ✨️forced proximity✨️ and my new favorite that is exclusively for holiday romances, ✨️trapped together due to a snow storm✨️.

Once again, if you're in the need for some holiday cheer, this is the one for you!

Huge thanks to @netgalley and @putnambooks for the ARC.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫/5

ALL I WANT IS YOU follows two rival romance author exes who get a second chance at love and their careers. If you’re a reader looking for a short and spicy read this holiday season, this might be right up your alley!

While Jess and Nick (I think Falon Ballard is a New Girl fan, perhaps) have explosive chemistry, heated banter, and a very clear “It’s always been you” trope, this book was just too spicy for my enjoyment. I found myself skimming through a lot of this book because it was so frequent.

Thank you NetGalley and G.P. Putnam for the opportunity to read an arc of ALL I WANT IS YOU in exchange for my honest review.

Falon Ballard does it again!! oh how I loved this cutie lil romance novel and it was the PERFECT book to get me into my holiday reads. This book had festive elements and Christmas vibes without being about Christmas. It didn't feel overdone or too cliche. I absolutely devoured this one in just a few hours. All I Want Is You was the perfect cozy, winter read.

This book had all of my favorite tropes wrapped up so well (lovers to enemies, forced proximity, one bed!!). Despite having multiple tropes, this story didn't feel like it was trying to pack in too much. All of these tropes were woven together so well to make an excellent novel. I absolutely loved this setting - two ex-lovers/authors forced together and then stuck in a cozy Christmas hotel due to a snow storm. and with juuust one bed?! soo good. Also, the pacing was perfect. This story took place over a few days and it didn't feel rushed. The flow felt natural and believable. I loved both of the characters and their flaws felt real. Falon Ballard knows how to create a sweet male lead and this book was no exception!! Jess and Nick felt like friends of mine. Both characters had depth and vulnerability.

Overall, 4 solid stars!!

I LOVE second chance romance, especially where the MMC is the one who fucked up and is secretly pining the whole time and she hates him. The fact that they are both inspired by the other and BOTH decide to write a second chance romance after interacting with one another and are still clearly in love has me giggling and kicking my feet. I loved that they end up having to co-write and by doing so take a situation where there was a mass amount of miscommunication make them both realize they were both at fault. I think Falon Ballard does an amazing job of keeping tension but also giving the readers exactly what they want with a heart warming and loving ending. I really enjoyed this one, and the grand gesture ending where Nick writes their happy ending and gets her a copy had me crying.

Falon Ballard has quickly become one of my favorite contemporary romance authors! I absolutely loved ALL I WANT IS YOU, and I think it'll be the perfect addition to your Christmas-romance TBR pile this season!

I always love Falon Ballard's books and this is no exception! It's a cute, quick holiday romance! Second chance romances are a favorite trope of mine and I love Ballard’s writing style and chemistry between characters. I liked that the main characters were rival romance authors and that they were snowed in with forced proximity at a cozy, charming hotel. The story uncovers Jess and Nick’s past as they navigate unresolved feelings and past miscommunication. The added spice, banter and holiday vibes made this a fun read. Add this to your holiday TBR!

Jess and Nick used to date but broke up five years ago. And now they are both romance authors at the same publishing house. And Jess has been asked to introduce Nick for an award at the holiday party which is taking place at a remote inn. So, of course weather will trap them at the inn, and Jess's reservation is lost so she ends up in Nick's room. They soon realize that maybe they aren't completely over each other. Can they finally get past the hurdles of the past and have a second chance at romance?

This was a super-cute, quick read. Since both leads are authors, they are both working on manuscripts and their books end up mirroring their real life relationship. I really enjoyed the book within a book. It was just the right amount of steamy for me and the leads had great chemistry. A great, easy holiday read!

Overall: 4/5
Spice Level: 2/3

All I Want is You is.a fun, spicy holiday romance. The book is replete with your typical romance tropes - enemies to lovers, second chance, one bed, etc. The main characters, Nick and Jess, are romance writers, once madly in love and now estranged for reasons that aren’t revealed until late in the book. I did enjoy the meta elements of this second change holiday romance being about characters who are not only experiencing their own second chance holiday romance, but also writing about one. The book does veer on the side of cheesy occasionally, and the reasons for their original breakup, once revealed, seem a bit weak and unbelievable. But overall, this is a quick, enjoyable (and very spicy) holiday read.
