The last installment in the Puddleduck Farm series (although they can be read standalone), and it follows the stories of both Phoebe and Sam and Rufus and his son Archie as they move into the next chapters in their lives. A heartwarming read, with a few years along the way. I loved hearing about the other characters that have featured throughout the series, both human and animal! I loved this series from start to finish.

Phoebe is back in this charming book in the Puddleduck series. In this book, she and Sam are searching for a house and talking about their upcoming wedding. Gran has plans for her life as well.

This book series is such a pleasant read. Charming from the word go, I couldn't help but be swallowed in with the stories of these English friends and family. This book offers some sadness but doesn't leave you hanging for a happy end.

Many thanks to Net Galley and to Boldwood Books for providing me with a copy of this ARC. Net Galley and to Boldwood Books for providing me with a copy of this ARC.

Wow what a fabulous ending to this series for animal lovers.
I started this book a few mins after finishing the previous one in the series, and then the following day, apparently could barely settle on any work and ended up reading pretty much the whole book over the course of the day, as it was the only thing I could concentrate on!
That and of course because I needed to see how all the possible happy ever afters that were set up in the previous book, how they would turn out.
So we have Phoebe and Sam who are now engaged, Torri and Harrison who are pregnant and due to get married too, Maggie who is now married to Eddie, Rufus is now engaged (and not to Phoebe if you have read the first book of the series and not some of the ones in between!). There are pregnancies, and if musical houses was a game, I think the characters of this book would be experts!
There are some fabulous animals in this book including a parrot who is hilarious, and a houdini-esque goat. We also get to briefly meet the characters who I believe are the central figures in the author's next series, which I am now even more keen to get started on.
This is a book that I couldn't get enough of, and I adored every second of it (give or take the incredibly sad bit that had me slightly despairing). And it left me with a ginormous smile on my face. It's a brilliant way to end a series, all of the characters and storylines (short term and long term) seem to have been concluded, and it al makes sense. And there are even some great animal adoptions too.
All of our recurring cast of characters have been absolutely brilliant, and I have loved getting to know each and every one of them over the course of these five book. Puddleduck Farm is a wonderful place in the New Forest and I for one would love to go and visit it.
Thank you to Boldwood Books and Netgalley for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

Della Galton’s Happy Ever After at Puddleduck Farm is a charming, delightful and heartwarming tale readers are going to love.
As a vet in the New Forest with a busy practice, Phoebe Dashwood barely has a moment to herself. The demands of her job and the challenges of juggling the demanding nature of being a vet with the day to day leave her with next to no time for her relationship with her beloved fiancé. As she copes with a goat with a phantom pregnancy and a highly strung parrot, Phoebe is pushed to her limits professionally, however, when a love rival threatens to upend her world, she begins to wonder whether she might be about to lose the man she loves with all of her heart.
When tragedy strikes, Phoebe realises that she cannot take her eye off the ball because she might just end up losing everything she cherishes most. While all her friends are finding their own happy endings, will Phoebe and her beloved Sam ever find theirs? Are there simply too many obstacles standing in their way? Or is Phoebe about to realise that their love is strong enough to see them through whatever life throws their way?
Della Galton’s books are like sunshine after a rainy day! Warm, witty and wonderful, her spellbinding novels never fail to hit the spot and Happy Ever After at Puddleduck Farm is a gorgeous, uplifting and feel-good romantic read that is sure to make readers laugh and cry.
A fun, poignant and entertaining tale that has got winner written all over it, Happy Ever After at Puddleduck Farm is another superb tale from Della Galton readers will thoroughly enjoy.

Reading Happy Ever After at Puddleduck Farm felt like wrapping myself in a warm blanket on a chilly day. As a fan of Della Galton's previous works, I was eager to return to the idyllic setting of the New Forest and catch up with Phoebe Dashwood, a talented vet navigating the ups and downs of life and love.
Phoebe’s journey is both heartwarming and relatable. She starts with dreams of a perfect life with her fiancé, Sam, but soon faces unexpected challenges that test her resilience. From the quirky cases—like a goat with a phantom pregnancy and a talkative parrot that pushes her to the brink—every scenario brought a smile to my face. Yet, the real emotional depth came when tragedy struck, reminding us all that life is unpredictable.
The introduction of a glamorous love rival added a layer of tension that kept me turning pages. I found myself rooting for Phoebe, hoping she could find the strength to overcome her doubts. The dynamics between her friends and their evolving stories intertwined beautifully with Phoebe’s journey, making me feel a part of this tight-knit community.
Galton’s writing is uplifting and poignant, perfectly balancing humor with the weight of life’s realities. I laughed, I cried, and I cheered for Phoebe as she navigated her challenges. This installment not only explores love but also the importance of friendship and self-acceptance.
In the end, Happy Ever After at Puddleduck Farm is a delightful read that left me with a sense of hope and warmth. If you’re looking for a cozy escape filled with charm and heart, this book is a must-read. I can’t wait to see what adventures await at Puddleduck Farm next!

My first book by Della Galton and although I could tell I'd walked into a world that was part of a larger series, it didn't stop me at all from enjoying myself thoroughly. The characters are vivid, the animals steal the spotlight whenever they appear and this part of the country is utterly enchanting. I appreciated that the mc was sometimes doing things very differently than I would and also very relatable in her response to other experiences. I also loved that she had the opportunity to talk to someone else who'd been through something similar... I'm trying not to spoil anything here but let's say that mental health challenges, and the support needed to cope are normalised in a really decent way. I'll definitely be looking out for more books in this world.

As ever, this is another uplifting story from Della Galton. Set in the New Forest, the animals are at the centre of the story and provide many humorous moments, as do their owners who bring them to the Veterinary practice at Puddleduck Farm. Phoebe is absolutely dedicated to her career as a vet and just as important to her is her family. Her relationship with her grandmother is very close and they have a special connection. Sam and Phoebe are very much in love but find that they have some challenges to overcome. Sam struggles against the idea that Phoebe's family could help them out financially and much of the story centres around Sam and Phoebe's relationship as they struggle to find somewhere new to live. Phoebe finds she has a jealous streak that she can't seem to shake off and there is a particularly sad event which is dealt with, with sensitivity.
I love Della Galton's ability to draw such vivid characters. You can picture them clearly and they give warmth to the story. My favourite has to be Phoebe's grandmother, Maggie. She is fiercely independent but has found new love late in life and is recently married. Compromise is always hard but she has a huge streak of common sense and compassion and as we find out, she can read her beloved niece like a book! Staunchly loyal, she is a great role model for Phoebe. This is a great addition to this uplifting series.
In short: heartwarming story with some bittersweet moment

Happy Ever After at Puddleduck Farm is the latest in the series by Della Galton. A heartwarming and charming read that feels like a comforting hug in book form. Set against the idyllic backdrop of the English countryside, this delightful novel is a perfect escape for anyone looking for a feel-good story.
Galton has a gift for creating characters that you can't help but root for and Phoebe has been that kind of character from the start. She is a relatable and inspiring protagonist, whose optimism and resilience are truly infectious. She has had ups and downs and handled them well, this book is no exception. Some very upsetting issues are mentioned in this story but they are handled sensitively and with care.
Happy Ever After at Puddleduck Farm is more than just a lighthearted read; it also touches on themes of resilience, family, and the power of following your dreams, no matter how daunting they may seem. Galton weaves these elements into the narrative with a gentle touch, making the story both meaningful and enjoyable.
If you're looking for a book that will leave you with a smile on your face and a warm feeling in your heart, Happy Ever After at Puddleduck Farm is a good choice.

In the latest installment of the Puddleduck Farm series, readers return to the New Forest where vet Phoebe Dashwood, her family, coworkers, and friends are all living their best life. Excited for her future with her fiance, Phoebe’s professional life is pushed to the limits with some quirky animal patients while her romantic stability is tested by a glamorous new dog trainer and a date at the financial advisor’s office on Valentine’s Day. Planning for the future has never been so difficult, and Phoebe begins to doubt that the love she and Sam share will be enough for their future life together, especially when tragedy strikes and threatens their relationship. An emotional rollercoaster of a novel, Phoebe’s personal and professional complications are realistic and draw the reader in, so readers will fully experience her life in its highs and lows. She is a fascinating character with a complex and realistic life, and readers will sympathize with her. Occasionally shifting perspectives to other characters like her fiance Sam, readers will get a bit of insight into the struggles of other characters. An excellent continuation of the series with new situations for Phoebe to deal with, readers will definitely feel a lot of emotions in the latest Puddleduck Farm novel.

I have loved all the previous books in the series and this was no exception. I really enjoyed the book, it's light-hearted, easy reading and the perfect escapism. I think this book is wonderfully written and takes the reader on an emotional rollercoaster, there are some really difficult issues brought up in this book but they are handled sensitively. I loved this series and really hope this isn’t the end to this lovely story.

Another great book in this series, I have loved all of them and this one certainly doesn't disappoint. As always the book is full of great characters.... especially the animals... and is one of those books that you can't put down. It can be read as a standalone by would definitely recommend that you read them all

I have read many of Della Galton’s books and really love her style of writing. From the very beginning you become invested in the characters in her books. This book follows the story of vet Phoebe and her fiancé Sam. Their relationship and the relationships of family and friends are just so real as well as the descriptions of all the animals Phoebe works with! A feel good story that you won’t be able to put down

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Book 5 of the Puddleduck Farm series, Happy Ever After at Puddleduck Farm is Della Galton’s latest masterpiece.
Phoebe and Sam are facing some trials and tribulations as they navigate their relationship. Meanwhile, Phoebe and the team at Puddleduck Vets agree it's time to hire another vet and are taking on lots of new clients.
I would like to extend my apologies to Della, Rachel (from Rachel's Random Resources), and Boldwood Books for this delayed review. I mistakenly thought today was the due date and had it marked on my calendar accordingly. It was only when I set up this review that I realised it was actually scheduled for Saturday!
Anyway, I have loved all the previous books in the series and this was no exception! I was enthralled from the beginning; I picked my iPad up every time I had free over the weekend to lose myself in Hampshire/Dorset. Although reading the other books in the series will give you the back story, you don't need to. I really hope there's more to come from Puddleduck Farm.

BLOG TOUR REVIEW
Review for 'Happy Ever After At Puddleduck Farm ' by Della Galton.
This book has fantastic descriptions that set you straight in the scenes. The cover, title and synopsis suit the storyline perfectly.
Love, LOVE, LOVED this absolutely gorgeous page turner!! An absolute must read!!!
OMG!!! I absolutely LOVED this gorgeous page-turner and although I am devastated that this is the finale in this incredible series I am so pleased that I still have the first two books to read so it isn't quite over for me yet!! Any books that revolve around animals is a HUGE bonus for me!!! I am a MASSIVE animal lover and all my pets have been rescues to then volunteering in rescues, working in rescues and now running my own little cat rescue (Golden Oldies Cat Rescue And Hospice which you can look up on Facebook if you are interested) so this book was a huge must read for me immediately!!! I really did absolutely love this unique, stunning page turner from the first page to the very last and cannot wait to get my hands on the first two books in this stunning series!!! Della's amazing writing skills and evocative descriptions drops the reader straight into the middle of Phoebe's life and Puddleduck Farm and Vets leaving them smelling the fresh air, feeding the menagerie of animals, relaxing and having a gorgeous holiday in the stunning countryside!!! I absolutely adored the cosy rural town vibe and it felt like coming back to a well known and loved holiday destination when I picked this book up! I was absolutely hooked throughout and could not put this down. I told myself time and time again I would just finish the chapter and then go to bed but something happened each and every time meaning I just had to read just one more, and then another until before I knew it I had completely devoured the book in one sitting. I genuinely felt like I had returned on another holiday with Phoebe and was devastated to come to the end of my holiday, returning back to reality and having to 'unpack my suitcase'!! I have never read a series filled with so many different animals before which made it unique and just LUSH!!!!! It really is just amazing and I absolutely love it and I really cannot compliment this book and series enough!!! This book is just what the doctor ordered for my own stress and each page I read I could feel myself relaxing more and more!!! This is one of those books that are very easy to read and perfect for any reading situations whether you are laying on a beach or curled up in front of a fire. It is an absolutely ideal read for anyone who is looking for a gorgeous and relaxing read that will have you hooked from beginning to end. I absolutely LOVED the realism of this storyline which made it so easy to picture everything that was going on which had been helped by Della's fantastic evocative writing skills. I cannot wait to get hooked into more of Della's books so I hope she is busy writing her next one while I get stuck into the previous books in this stunning series!! This is definitely one of those books that will turn a frown upside down and make life seem a lot brighter. It is packed with fun, laughter, animals, romance, friendships, a huge breathe of fresh air and everything you could ask for in a fantastic feel good book. Grab your copy today and fall in love with Puddleduck Farm yourself!!
Well done Della on yet another absolutely stunning and perfect addition and finale to this absolutely gorgeous series!!!
Although this is the fifth book in the series I had absolutely no problems reading it without the others. Any details or events that have previously happened are mentioned in just the right amount of detail to let a new reader know what has happened and yet not too much to bore a previous reader.
The characters were all an eclectic mix and each one of them were realistic and strong. I absolutely loved meeting them again as I was completely invested in them all from the moment I met them in 'Love Blossoms At Puddleduck Farm'. It also makes them more realistic, believable and made me feel even more for them than I normally would. I absolutely LOVED Phoebe who really resonated with me, especially with her love of animals and wanting to help them all!!! It was amazing watching her look after the animals at her veterinary practice as well as getting to see her personal life including her relationship with Sam, her bond with her Gran Maggie, her friendships with Sam, Anni, Tori and many other characters and so much more!!! I loved seeing how she interacted with the animals who all had their own cheeky little personalities along with some of her unique (shall we say) customers and behaviourists!!! Each of the characters and animals are memorable and unique in their own ways and they are a group that I wont be forgetting any time soon! I am completely devastated that this is the last book in the series as I have loved getting to know them all so much, watching relationships and personalities change and so much more!! They all have felt like family and friends to me and I had a tear in my eye saying Goodbye!! However, I then realised that I actually still have the first two books in this series that I can go back to which I am absolutely landed about as I get to see them all again from the start!!! Della's incredible writing skills shows that she has really cared about these characters as she has made them so in depth and ensured the readers can really feel and see everything they are going through from the moment you meet them. Although I am sad that this is the last book in this series Della could not have ended it any better than she did and I am looking forward to seeing what amazing characters she comes up with next!!
Pick up this book and get lost in this absolutely gorgeous page turner!
Congratulations Della on yet another absolutely stunning read that I just could not put down!!! I cannot wait to read more of your previous and future books. I would absolutely love to see this book turned into a movie!!! This is the exact reason you are on my favourite author list and here's to your next success 🥂
Overall another unputdownable, gorgeous, STUNNING page turning book filled with animals, romance, fun, laughter, friendship and so much more!! A perfectly relaxing and stunning unique read!!!!

Thank you Netgalley & publishers for an advanced copy of Happy Ever After at Puddleduck Farm. A lovely light-hearted tender story with likeable characters and cute sounding animals. Thoroughly enjoyable book that is well worth reading.

The final instalment in the Puddleduck Farm series did not disappoint. With all the characters (human and animal!) we know and love so well, and plenty going on to move the story on. I have loved this series from Della Galton and would recommend to fans is Jessica Redland, Jo Bartlett, Sue Moorcroft and more.

It's always a treat to return to Puddleduck Farm, and its lovely characters are great. It only took me moments to be back in Phoebe's life, but if you are new to the series, there is a comprehensive backstory cleverly woven into the early chapters. I like the believable characters, the relatable everyday events and the cast of animals who bring humour and heartache into this uplifting story. Phoebe and Sam face problems in their relationships, but love wins them through. It's an emotional tale with characters you invest in. I enjoyed this heartwarming read.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher.

Puddleduck Farm is another one of those bookish locations that you wish were real. It sounds such an idyllic place and the residents are absolutely lovely, wouldn't you agree?
I've loved this series from the beginning and I'm always delighted when the next 'episode' is released. It's like going home to catch up with old friends.
Galton takes us on quite the emotional journey with several of the characters. We're delighted with a wedding, the impending birth of a new baby and then the unthinkable happens. This may be a trigger for some, but please note the author did handle it in a sensitive manner.
Is Happy Ever After the last in this series?
I really enjoyed the book, it's lighthearted, easy reading and the perfect escapism, for a few hours at least.

Another lovely book in the Puddleduck Farm series, which again is a light-hearted read. Good to read what is now happening to the characters as we move on and share their ups and downs.

I always enjoy a trip to Puddleduck Farm and this was no exception. Its lovely to catch up with the characters to see what they are up to.
I love the stories involving the animals as there is normally something unusual going on them.
There are so many characters to catch up with, who are all going through their own issues. I really did feel for Pheobe and Sam and wondered if their happy ever after wasn't to be.
A beautiful written book which takes the reader on an emotional rollercoaster. Topics covered include weddings, babies, pregnancy, jealousy, agoraphobia and miscarriage. I did feel the latter topics were handled in a sensitive manner.
I would certainly recommend reading this book. It can be read standalone but to get the best experience I would suggest reading them in order.
Thank you Rachel's Random Resources for my gifted copy and spot on the tour. I am leaving this review voluntarily.
