I read this book not realizing it was book #3. I will go back and read books 1 and 2. I really enjoyed this book and read it in one sitting. I would definitely recommend this book.

I wanted to enjoy this book, but I had a very hard time getting into it. The writing is more descriptive than it needs to be and the characters are very over the top. The story itself has its moments, so if you like cozy mysteries with a witchy/magical theme and zanier characters this book would be a good fit for you, but unfortunately it was too much for me.

Myrtle Coldron owns the Witch's Retreat B&B. She is also the leader of the Magical Misfits. While hiking, she stumbles upon a skeleton. Strange events start happening in the village of Avebury. Myrtle is a most interesting character that I so enjoyed. Filled with humor. Good story. I will find the 2 previous books and read them. This is an interesting take on a cozy mystery but I found the characters to be colorful and quirky enough to keep me reading.
Myrtle is a fun character and the mystery revolving around the bones she discovered is interesting , I'm glad I had the chance to read this book.
