Loved the fall vibes this book was giving. It is geared more for the younger audience but I still enjoyed it.

This book was a perfect fall read. Both my daughter and I read this book and it was age appropriate for both of us. This was a quick read with good character development and plot. Both my daughter and I have recommended it to several people.

Cute fall book. Lucy works in her mom’s local coffee shop and a new chain coffee shop opens across the street. To help her mom Lucy attempts to make the best pumpkin spice latte. Definitely a YA romance.

Thank you net galley for this arc.

Fall vibes, cozy, small town, pumpkin spice

Though, they weren't the greatest vibes....I think I went into this novel with too high of expectations and that was my, and this book's downfall.... It felt a little bit too cheesy. Also I could not for the life of me, relate to, or even like the main character, Lucy....How am I expected to be rooting for this girl, if she's not even remotely a little bit likable? Also it's promoted and listed as a romance???? There is quite literally not a speck of romance anywhere in the pages of these novels???

Am I the only one that felt like this read more like a middle grade aside from the character's ages? Don't get me wrong, it was cute and very autumnal but it almost felt a little childish. Lucy definitely reminded me of Rory Gilmore aside from the non-bookish part so I get the Gilmore Girls comparison with her and her Mom. I don't know, maybe I'm just a little too old to read this. I know it's marketed towards young adult but I feel like kids younger than that can read and enjoy it.

First, this was supposed to be a YA romance and romance where? The romance part of this book was so overshadowed by the aspect of a "perfect pumpkin spice latte" that the most we got from this was a hug. I am not even sure if they even admitted to liking each other. The romance aspect of this was very disappointing. I wish there would have been more from this

When I first started reading this book I had to stop a couple times and then pick it back up. It is slow and a slow burn but overall it was a cute autumn read.

A truly YA book written about teenagers with teenage characters in mind. Felt like I was immersed in fall through the entire book and it was written decently well. While the FMC annoyed me... she was a teenager (and I am not). Knowing that, the storyline was cute and the romance was just perfect for this genre. Would recommend to my students, for sure!

I had high hopes for this book, after initially being drawn to it by the gorgeous cover and fall vibes. The imagery in this book was phenomenal-- I felt so immersed in cozy Briar Glen, and I loved the small town coffee shop aspect. However, the more I read, the more I felt I was not the intended audience for this novel and ultimately DNF'd at 20%. Lucy was very immature, and I didn't feel I could connect with her.

Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice is the perfect cozy fall read, especially for fans of Gilmore Girls. Set in the charming village of Briar Glen, the story follows 16-year-old Lucy Kane, who works at her mom's coffee shop, Cup o' Jo. As autumn arrives and tourists flock to town, Lucy's life takes a turn when a large coffee chain, Java Junction, opens across the street. To make matters more complicated, the new kid in town, Jack Harper, turns out to be the son of Java Junction’s owner—and also Lucy's secret crush.

This book is a sweet, light romance with a strong emphasis on character growth. Lucy initially frustrated me with her serious attitude and sense of responsibility, but it was rewarding to see her learn to embrace being a teenager. Jack, with his carefree, "golden retriever" energy, was a great balance to Lucy’s seriousness, and their interactions were so fun to read. The book also touches on the dynamics between Lucy and her mom, which adds a nice layer to the story.

Overall, Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice is a charming, easy-to-read book that's perfect for coffee lovers and anyone looking for a cozy fall romance with a touch of family drama. Highly recommended for a relaxing read!

Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice by Katie Cicatelli-Kuc is like a warm fall hug. Anna’s journey through baking, love, and self-discovery feels messy, sweet, and totally relatable. The vivid writing practically makes you smell the pumpkin spice, and while some parts are predictable, it’s the kind of cozy, feel-good story you’ll want to curl up with. Perfect for anyone craving a little autumn magic!

Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice by Katie Cicatelli-Kuc is a charming young adult romance set in the quaint New England village of Briar Glen. The story follows sixteen-year-old Lucy Kane, who works at her mom's coffee shop, Cup o' Jo, during the fall season when tourists flock to the town for its picturesque scenery and pumpkin spice lattes. The book beautifully captures the cozy, autumnal vibe of Briar Glen, making you feel like you're right there with Lucy, sipping a warm drink and enjoying the colorful leaves. Lucy's disdain for pumpkin spice lattes, despite working at a coffee shop that serves them, is both relatable and humorous. Her journey to find a better recipe adds a fun and engaging element to the story. The budding romance between Lucy and Jack Harper, the new kid in school and son of a rival coffee shop owner, is heartwarming and adds a lovely touch to the narrative.

While Lucy is a likable protagonist, some of the secondary characters could be fleshed out more to add depth to the story. The pacing feels a bit slow at times, especially in the middle sections of the book. A bit more action or conflict could help keep the momentum going.

Overall the books is a cute read, perfect for fans of cozy, small-town romances. It's a light, feel-good story that will have you dreaming of autumn all year long. If you're looking for a charming, easy read to curl up with, this book is a great choice.
