I was draw to it because of course, the title. And I felt that it would have good amount of advice to motivate and empower. I feel like I found it there on some level. There is a power in community, it is fact. But also, I feel this book would benefit from recognition of how lonely immigrants actually are. Overall I feel like it was a good time investment
This empowering little book is about being a migrant and how this doesn't have to stop you from reaching your top potential. As a migrant myself, I cannot relate to many of the things said in this book. I did get a degree in the UK but not working in that field at all. It is not as easy, you need to study further, persevere and find the right person to take you in to start your job in your chosen field. Recommended for those who don't believe enough in themselves and need an extra push that it can be done.
