This book was an amazing twist on a classic book idea. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Nice an steamy!
Emmy Grayson’s Prince’s Forgotten Diamond is a royal amnesia romance that sizzles with scorching desire, intense emotion and red-hot sensuality.
After an accident, Julius wakes up with no clue about his identity. He doesn’t remember anything about his life prior to the accident – except for Esme Clark and a diamond engagement ring. Determined to find her at all costs, Julius leaves no stone unturned to track down the woman he is sure is important to him and when he finds her in her Caribbean hideout, he makes another shocking discovery: Esme was his bodyguard and he is a Crown Prince!
Having fled Julius’s kingdom because she felt she was only setting herself up for heartbreak, Esme knew that the man she loved was meant to marry a woman who was far more suitable than she could ever hope to be. Esme is flabbergasted to find Julius at her door – and she is shocked to her very core when she realizes that he has no recollection of the night they had spent together!
Brought together by fate and united by a forbidden passion that simply cannot be denied, long-buried feelings quickly ignite. However, will the vast social chasm that divides them put paid to any hope they had of spending the rest of their lives together? Or will their love find a way to triumph against the many obstacles standing in their way?

A big thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin Presents for the eARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I enjoyed the variety of settings in this book. The characters were likeable but not necessarily relatable. This is the story of a Prince with amnesia and his bodyguard. It was interesting and fun to read. Always pretty quick. Fun and entertaining. 3.5 stars
Emmy Grayson brings us the story of a man who wakes up in a hotel room with no recollection of how he got there or his name. With the information he finds on a business card he finds, he is led to a name of a woman and an island. He finds a very angry, but somewhat familiar woman when he arrives. Will she be able to help put the pieces together, or will their past get in the way from the beginning? Esme is surprised to find Julius with no memory of the time they had spent together or what led to her leaving her home. Will she give him the chance to make the wrongs he caused right, or does the past hurt too much to even try?
We get to follow along Julius and Esme's journey from the past to the present. We get to see what led to Esme leaving the country she loves and what made Julius leave home to end up in London. What happened to him that he ended up not remembering anything? Will they be able to forgive and get past their fears and misgivings enough to see if there is a future in store for them? This is part of Harlequin's Diamonds of the Rich and Famous books.
I read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I would like to thank NetGalley and Harlequin Presents for this privilege.
Harlequin romances are always fun to read. Utterly predictable, lightweight with very little angst, good characters, and the obligatory happy ever after.
This can easily be finished in an hour.
Thank you to NetGalley for a copy of this ARC in return for my honest review.
