I am so loving this series! This is Book 12 of Dukes in Danger and is a such a lovely addition to the series. I have enjoyed the previous books so far and this one also did not disappoint. I'm just sad to see it end. I believe it can be read as a standalone, but I would definitely recommend reading the whole series.
Adam is the Duke of Gilroyd, and he works for the Crown. He has been focused on his work after losing his wife. In his grief he had made a vow never to marry again, that is until he meets Dottie. She is his new partner in his next mission. Neither are particularly happy in the beginning with having to partner up, but they need to pretend to be married in order for this mission work. As they work to hunt down and catch the traitor in their midst, neither can deny the attraction and affection that begins to blossom between them.
The chemistry between Adam and Dottie absolutely sizzled. The storyline flowed smoothly and plot twists kept me glued till the end. It's a lovely romance with a touch of mystery and intrigue. What a wonderful ending to such a captivating series!

Regency Romance with Intrigue
Dottie and Adam are clashing as though they are enemies. However, they must learn to work together. They have a gang to dismantle and a spy to catch.
Adam had a woman partner in the past. He fell in love with her and married her. However, that story did not end well. This was why he wanted nothing to do with Dottie. She was not a fan of his either, but she was determined to get her job done. She needed a pretend marriage, and Adam fit the bill.
Could Adam and Dottie catch their spy? Would they dismantle the Glasshand gang? Falling in love was not in the plans, so what happened when the plan changed, and their hearts became entangled?
This was an entertaining story. I enjoyed it and would recommend it to those who like Regency romance with mystery, suspense, and intrigue.
4 stars
It looks like the end of a series. Our hero is very grumpy. A widower who has forsworn marrying again. He is searching for the traitor and the mole in his spying operation but this is very tertiary to his interaction with the heroine. We learn that Yates was Mr Snee's right hand woman. She's also looking for the traitor and is convinced that he or she is down in Brighton. So Mr Snee organises for Dottie and Adam to go to Brighton but they must be married...well this didn't sound feasible. There werem't that many Duke's around and as soon as a marriageable one arrives that's suddently got hitched I would have thought society would have been all over them. As I say it's mainly Dottie and Adam with the Duke & Duchess from Book 11 turning up to sort some stuff out.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own
A good story on the whole. Adam Seymour, Duke of Gilroyd, and Dottie Yates team up to bring down the Glasshand gang and along the way, end up falling in love with each other. I did not read the other stories in the series but I could follow along quite easily. Loved the witty banter and the chemistry between Adam and Dottie and the fact that she drew him out of himself. An altogether good read and an enjoyable book.
I received an ARC from the publishers and NetGalley and submit my honest review herewith.
This was a first read for me from Ms. Murdoch. It was an easy read and one I could not put down. Looking forward to reading more of her work. Prepub from NetGalley.
Bringing this series to a very successful conclusion, the Duke of Gilroyd and Miss Dottie Yates are thrown together to uncover the deadly Glasshand Gang that has been plaguing England with a possible traitor in their midst. Of all the books in this series, I enjoyed this novel the most as Dottie and Adam face off against each other before they agree to work together to root out the traitor in their circle of associates. Adam has made a vow to never become enamored with another woman in the wake of his terrible loss, but he does not take the mischievous Dottie into account. It is only when Dottie herself is threatened that Adam realizes just how important she has become to him that he is able to wait patiently until she can recall the events that led up to her dastardly attack. Fortunately, Dottie's recovery comes with an increased awareness of the events surrounding them, bringing the series to a successful conclusion. I received a copy of this romance as a gift through Dragonblade Publishing and NetGalley and this is my honest and voluntary review.
This is a historical romance that winds up a series. If you haven't read the other books you can still enjoy this one. There is a particularly ruthless gang causing trouble that the Crown's agents have been searching for.
Our lead characters in this story are both part of the hunt for different reasons. Our hero hates the very idea of having a partner. His heartbreak has made him a very grumpy Duke. Our heroine is a very intelligent woman who can move in any area of society.
We get a mystery to solve and intrigue and danger to face.
Great fun.
The last of a long and excellent series. This story of Adam and Dottie is filled with convenience, fake marriage, spies, disloyalty, spice and more. Adam is a grumpy, dishearted duke who lost his wife and has some PTSD. Dottie is a female spy who turns his life upside down. I loved the conclusion and the mystery solved on who the traitor really was that has carried on through the series. I'm also a big fan of spy romance during this time period as it usually includes the history of the Napoleon wars. Will miss waiting for the next book in the series yet I'm sure this author has more fantastic stories just waiting to be told.
All Good Dukes Come to an End by Emily EK Murdoch is a spy novel in which Adam Seymour, Duke of Gilroyd, and Dottie Yates are forced to team up to take down the notorious Glasshand Gang. He had no intention of partnering anyone, and most especially a woman. Not after what had happened with his partner and wife, Louisa, those years ago. He was adamant. She was forceful. Finally he agreed. They went undercover, sort of, as a married couple. The last thing he wanted. Well, as things went from bad to worse, as you can imagine, their relationship heated up. Did they catch the criminal and the leak?
Gilroyd had been hurt. He blamed himself and hid within himself. She was attracted immediately. He took a little longer. She was brilliant. She saw things he didn’t. They were both good characters, well-written, determined. Their time in Brighton was as bad as attending the Season in London. They met everyone, saw everyone. But she could not pick out the man she had seen with the gang who had killed her father. And, she insisted on taking foolish chances. The lst one nearly killed her. What a good story! Thanks, Ms Murdoch, for writing it.
I was invited to read All Good Dukes Come to an End by Dragonblade. All thoughts and opinions are mine. #Netgalley #Dragonblade #EmilyEKMurdoch #AllGoodDukesComeToAnEnd
Adam Seymour, Duke of Gilroyd made a vow never to marry again. Losing his wife so suddenly had never been the plan and so throwing himself into serving the Crown was the obvious choice to forget the pain. Until Mr. Smee forced a new partner on him: Dottie Yates. Thrust into a fake marriage & spying in Brighton, neither Adam nor Dottie are ready to give up hunting down the Glasshand Gang—or the traitor who is apparently in their midst.
The finale of the series & grumpy meets sunshine, throw in spies & traitors & you have a well written entertaining book. I loved Dottie & grew to love Adam, I loved how she gradually melted his frozen heart. The chemistry between them sizzled & the banter was witty. A very enjoyable book which could easily be read on its own but I did enjoy catching up with some of the characters from previous books

I did it. I finally finished the Dukes in Dangers series. I may have missed a few books along the way, but what a ride. All these dukes with so many different temperaments and the women who tamed them. My favorites were Strike While the Duke is Hot, When There's A Duke There's A Way, and A Duke A Day Keeps the Doctor Away. Not every book was five stars, but I could find a silver lining with each story. I'm so delighted that I discovered this author last year and read so many of her publications in such a short amount of time. I can't say I loved all the dukes, but I'm willing to take a chance on a trust fund baby if the price is right.
All Good Dukes... was the big finale to the Dukes in Danger series and it wasn't the fireworks I was expecting. The duke was caught up on his dead wife (totally fair) and kept comparing the heroine to her. They were both women in espionage who didn't take crap from anyone. She was a feisty lass who didn't get her proper due from the heroine. I was anticipating more passion but he was still wallowing in his grief. It makes sense but it's time to move on if you're starring in a romance novel, bub. Although this wasn't my favorite entry, I'm satisfied with the bangers I was allotted within this series. I can't expect them to be all five stars. That would be greedy. Emily E.K. Murdoch did a fantastic job because we all know that All Good Dukes Come to an End.
Yates has been helping Mr. Snee assign and move around agents unknown to the other agents. When Yates is pulled into an unusual assignment the Duke of Gillroyd reluctantly agrees to be partnered. Unbeknownst to him it is NOT a Mr. But a Mrs. Yates. But as they’re equally looking for the head of the Glasshill gang will bring them together and help them solve this mystery.
I have REALLY been enjoying getting to know all these dukes who have been secretly severing the crown. The series can be read independently of each other but touching in the lives of previous character but not a necessity to read, But you might just want to becau they are intriguing and engaging.
I received a complementary copy of this book. I was not required to write a positive review.. the opinion I have given is my own. I am disclosing this according to the guidelines.
A Worthy End To A Great Series
I'm sad that the Dukes in Danger are really coming to an end now. I loved the series and was glad that Gilroyd now finally got his own well-deserved happy ending. The story was touching but somehow humorous at the same time, even if Dottie's behaviour was too aggressive for me at first. It has an enemies to lovers, grumpy-sunshine plot packed with emotion, suspense, conflict, banter, danger and spice.
Both main characters are already familiar to us from previous books of the series. They are very likable and complement each other very well, I’ve always had a soft spot for grumpy, dutiful Adam. I also enjoyed to meet all the Dukes again at the end, that was a great finale.
And of course the identity/ies of the traitor and the leaders were also revealed (no spoilers from me 😉).
Theoretically, the book can be read on its own, but I recommend reading the whole series in order, which is much more fun.
Adam Seymour, Duke of Gilroyd is bitter, angry and still mourning the loss of his late wife and partner Louisa, who was murdered on a joint mission, especially now that all his friends and colleagues are happily married.
He puts all his energy into finding out who the traitor is in their ranks.
When Snee seeks him out and presents him a partner for a new mission against the Glasshand Gang, he is anything but enthusiastic, but eventually agrees, even though the thought of a female partner and a fake marriage sends him into a panic, especially as he has publicly sworn never to marry again and the young lady proves to be strong-willed and constantly provokes and annoys him.
Dottie Yates has already completed several missions with and for Snee and now has new leads to track down the leaders of the Glasshand Gang. To do this, however, she needs access to all circles of society and therefore Adam's help as her pretend husband.
She is also unenthusiastic about having to work with the bitter duke, as Adam questions her abilities and doesn't seem to take her seriously as a female partner.
The longer they work together, the more attracted they become to each other, but love is out of the question for Adam and the situation becomes more dangerous as the traitor and the leader of the gang could be one and the same person...
If you like well written Regency romances with a touch of mystery and suspense, this book is for you.

The Truth is Revealed!
Adam, Duke of Gilroyd was a spy for the crown, set in his ways and after the love of his life, his wife died he didn’t want anyone else in his life either personal or business which came as quite a shock when he was asked to work with Dottie to take down the notorious Glasshand Gang!
Working together, slowly getting to know each other both Adam and Dottie find a love that cannot be denied but when tragedy hits, can Adam and Dottie get the HEA they both deserve and finally put an end to the gang and find out who the master traitor has been all along?
Some much loved characters throughout the series make an appearance in this great series finale.
A super-hot read with lots of banter, witty and steamy moments!
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This book is great!! The storyline and characters are well developed and interesting. I became so engrossed in the book that I finished it in one evening!
While this book did get more interesting in the end, it took awhile to get into it. I am hoping to be able to read more from this author.
Adam Seymour, the duke of Gilroyd and spy for the crown, vowed to never marry again after losing his wife during a mission. So the last thing in the world he wants is working with Dottie on investigating the Glasshand Gang - a woman! He fights this idea tooth and nail, but of course has to give in to this request. But he doesn’t have to like it, so he’s grumpy and sullen. They pose as a married couple which only adds to his inner turmoil, but he quickly starts to care about Dottie, who is clever, beautiful and enjoys the simple things in life, like watch the sea. She slowly melts his frozen heart and together they hunt for the traitor and leader of the Glasshand Gang…
A nice read with love, loss, a bit of suspense, some PTSD but above all hope and new beginnings.
Thank you Netgalley and the Dragonblade Publishing for providing an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Dottie & Adam - two spies in a pod!
Yes, what a splendid idea to send off a grumpy duke and a sunny vicar’s daughter to Brighton on a secret mission to find the leaders of England’s most feared Glasshand Gang, not to mention the secret selling traitor that’s on the loose. Desperate times call for desperate measures, and they’re both very good at their job spying for the Crown - on their own - the two of them together remains to be seen…
He’s a gruff grumbling loner, a widower who’s vowed never to love again - his wife, also a spy, died on a mission in France. So imagine his surprise when he, a duke, is ordered to partner with a woman once again! And on top of that, she wants him to pretend they’re married! The nightmare!
She’s a little tired of entitled men constantly underestimating her - do they have any idea how many times she was the one to save their skin? It’s her investigation, her mission and he’s her designated sidekick. If this duke wants to be an arrogant boar, fine! Two can play that game!
Cunning and creative, she levels their playing field in the most disarming manner, like only a woman can, and yes, she makes a few mistakes and there’s much he can teach her, but the only way forward is working together as equals. And as colour slowly seeps back into his blackened soul, it becomes clear just how emotionally loaded this mission is.
This story is all about the romance and not so much about the spying - don’t worry, they catch the bad guy in the end. It’s not only lots of playful banter, dry wit, unexpected kisses, a walk on the beach, awkward flirting and a very steamy nightcap. But it’s also gaping holes being filled, hope, despair and patient nursing back to health.
Her joy, laughter and sometimes naïve enthusiasm stands in stark contrast with his morose disposition. She’s not afraid of him and he’s not used to someone pushing his buttons until he cracks. I love the way they unintentionally seduce each other - twice!
This story warms your heart, and it’s a beautiful ending to this very entertaining series!
Emily EK Murdoch's "Dukes in Dangers" series ends on a fairly good note. We have met both Adam and Dottie in many of the earlier books in this series and their pairing as partners who give way to lovers is generally a good read. I do think reading prior books in the series is helpful here, though this book works okay as a standalone. Dottie is a fun FMC, strong and unwilling to compromise her goals. Adam is living in the past but meeting Dottie drags him into the present, which is lovely. I didn't love the parallels between Dottie and Adam's first wife or the similarities in the development of their relationships but I did get past that. I would have liked to know more about the age gap that clearly exists here and I could have done without the amnesia microtrope. But overall I enjoyed Adam and Dottie's story and the wrap-up of the danger the various dukes have investigated.
3.5 stars rounded to 4. Thank you to NetGalley and Dragonblade for a complimentary copy of this book. These opinions are my own.
A great end to a very entertaining series. I have read several of the stories and enjoyed them all. In this one, Adam gets a new partner and Dottie is not what he was expecting nor wanting. Things don’t go as planned and the danger is still present. The story is well written and entertaining. Adam and Dottie are both strong willed and tend to butt heads but in the end things work out for the best, they put an end to the danger and get their HEA. Definitely worth reading.
