I read this book between some heavier ones and it is a perfect, quaint, adorable romcom to make everything feel better.

This was a great book! I loved the chemistry between the main characters. I loved Griffin!! He is book boyfriend worthy!

What an absolute delight of a book! I flew through Her Knight at the Museum in a little over 24 hours because I enjoyed it so much.
This book has an inventive concept: Emily, a conservator at the Art Institute of Chicago, is restoring a statue of a medieval knight when she discovers a real man is trapped in the stone. Griffin, the knight, was cursed back in the 1400s and has been a statue ever since. When Emily breaks the curse with a kiss, Griffin comes to life and shenanigans ensue.
Considering the statue has disappeared without a trace, the news explodes nationally. Suspicion for the theft naturally falls on Emily, who knows the real story is unbelievable. I was on the edge of my seat wondering how everything would work out in the end, but it was a fun ride to get there.
Griffin’s interactions with the modern world were hilarious. I actually laughed out loud, which isn’t something I do often while reading. His romance with Emily was tender, fun, and sexy. Their story still managed to feel realistic despite the fact Griffin used to be a man trapped in a 600-year-old statue. There are many ways this concept could’ve gone wrong, but Bryn Donovan is a skilled writer and absolutely pulls it off.
Her Knight at the Museum was the best sort of bonkers. I can’t wait to read what this author writes next.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC, which was provided in exchange for an honest review.

I really wanted to like this book, but the FMC getting horny over a statue on page one was just the first of many red flags in only the first 10% of the book. The writing is not the level I expect from a traditionally published book, especially not from Berkeley. I’m not a book editor, but I still noticed several changes that would get the same point across while elevating the writing style. Both of these characters felt one dimensional and unrealistic ; I felt no attachment to either of them.
I enjoyed the “Knight Before Christmas” movie on Netflix and was expecting this book to be very similar. I don’t mind campy books that ask you to suspend your disbelief. My issue with this book is the execution. It is poorly written and feels like a waste of time to read

This was an amazing read!!
I loved Griffin! He became my favorite character instantly! Seeing Griffin learn about the modern world was quite entertaining and hilarious. I also enjoyed his interactions with Emily. It was filled with electric chemistry and witty dialogue. I truly enjoyed seeing Griffin and Emily's relationship develop throughout the book!
It is a charming, heartwarming, and enjoyable book that I recommend reading!
Thank you Netgalley and Berkley for a copy of this book!
