Elle Kennedy is back 🤭 Shane and Diana are 10/10 spice, banter, pining, and with so many more of my favourite tropes!

Diana and Shane deliver the perfect recipe of wit, humor, and spice. I loved this story from the first page. I devoured this audio – listening when cleaning my house, walking my dog and even while driving. I could not put it down. I laughed and laughed and I swooned. I cannot wait for more in this series. Erin Mallon’s narration is a chef’s kiss bringing Diana to life.

Audiobook: I thought both narrators brought the characters to life. I enjoyed that there were 2 narrators for the dual POV, making it easy to follow.

Book: Most of the book was five stars for me. I loved the banter and the way the fake dating came about. At 90% not one but TWO terrible things happened (one was very out of the blue). It was around that time that I felt the story could have wrapped up, instead I had to read several chapters (yes 90% but the book was long) of trauma and honestly it felt a bit out of place and I started skimming to get through it. So the last part made me lower it to 4 stars.

It took me a while to get through this book. I had to set it down because about the time cancer was being mentioned in the book, I also found out my mother had breast cancer. So I put this book down for a couple months to cope. I was scared I wouldn’t get back to it because of my personal connection but I’m so glad I came back to it. This may just be my favorite Elle Kennedy book. The emotion and spice and banter and just everything are all top tier. I’m obsessed with Diana and her sassy nature. Also, the SPICY SCENES are omg perfect.

Super fun yet emotional read! Loved learning more about these characters and getting to see their relationship build overtime. There was a scene that had me bawling my eyes out. Overall it was another amazing EK book!

Book 2 in the Campus Diaries series. Would work as a stand alone, though both characters appear in book one.

Diana is livid when Shane moves in next door. Shane has been sleeping his way through her cheer squad and she is tired of the drama he is causing. Shane, however, is not typically a guy who sleeps around. He is trying to get over his long term girlfriend of over four years. When Shane's ex shows up at his door with her new boyfriend, he texts Diana begging her to pretend to be his girlfriend. A fake relationship could benefit Diana, too, as her ex won't get the hint. While they spend the summer fake dating, Diana starts to see the real Shane. Suddenly, it stops feeling fake.

This book is more than the synopsis. For a while, I was not enjoying it as much as I enjoyed [book:The Graham Effect|123255391]. But it got better. I rarely give out 5 stars. It is a lot more than the blurb- it deals with some serious issues and does it well. When a book makes me cry, it typically comes with a high rating from me. And though I saw it coming early on, I was still crying for Shane towards the end.

I cannot wait for Beckett and Will's book.

The audiobook is narrated by Corvin King and Erin Mallon. I always enjoy Erin Mallon's narration. Corvin King is new to me. I liked the tone of his voice. He is a bit mumbly, but I don't hate it. (Sort of like Xe Sands is) I didn't care for him when reading dialogue for Diana, but it wasn't awful and I got used to it.

I received an advance audio copy in exchange for an honest review.

Elle Kennedy strikes again with her New Adult hockey romance books. The Dixon Rule holds up to the first book in the series The Graham Effect, as Diana and Shane charm us from the pool to the dance floor. Listening to this book was a delight the narrators captured the characters beautifully. Can't wait for the next book!

This book was definitely a lot more intense than I thought it would be, but it definitely has some really good qualities. I really liked seeing Dixon and Shane come together and really support one another and be there for each other and have a love for one another. That was just a special

I have always been a fan of hokey romances, and a fan of Elle Kennedy. She is an automatic read for me. I picked up the off campus series and was so excited to see she continued in this universe.

I read my first Off-Campus book a few years ago and since then I became a fan of Elle Kennedy’s writing, they say she’s the Queen of Hockey Romance and I have to agree.
If you are looking for a romance with funny banter, relatable characters, spice, moving and easy to read, this one is for you!

Thank you Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for this complimentary audiobook.

I wanted to love this, but I found it boring. I think I'm starting to fall out of love with Elle Kennedy's work.

Woohoo!! Getting Elle Kennedy's new book for me in this series was beyond exciting. I love her books and this one did not disappoint.

This book follows Shane and Diana. Two opposites who are far from compatible at first glance finding themselves fake dating. Anyone who knows my reading choices knows I love fake dating so it should surprise no one that I loved this book. This book is more than just a sports romance it is a romance drama. This book definitely has some triggering topics so I recommend checking trigger warnings before picking it up but I loved what it added to the story. Both characters had such full and well rounded lives it definitely shined through with their personal struggles getting in the way. It really upped and ante in the relationship.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes Elle Kennedy's other books or anyone who wants a romance with some depth to it. Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book!

Shane moves next to Diana Dixon. She hates him, and establishes some rules. Between ups and downs, they became friends.

I love audio book, but this one? The narration was really good! I laugh so many times because of the intonation of the narrator.

Loving this series!! The audio was 🔥 Diana is so bossy and I love a character who knows what she wants. Shane was such a cocky teddy bear. They always say opposites attract!

This story took me right back to the off campus days which is arguable one of the best new adult sports romance series. The Dixon Rule channeled all that, it was spicy, entertaining, heartfelt, dramatic and oh so swoony. I loved Diana & Shane's story. The audio narati9n was perfect and I can not wait for the next book in this series.
