Amazing edge of your seat story you won't be able to put down this is a thriller which will keep you turning the pages long into the night
A twisted domestic thriller set in a quiet Cork suburb. The pace ramped up in the second half and the denouement was shocking but satisfying and clever. The author is a great addition to Irish noir and I will read more.
I raced through this book as the pacy short chapters kept me turning the pages. There was a great cast of mostly dislikeable characters, which made it an unpredictable read!
I particularly loved the second half after quite a shocking twist and couldn't wait to find out how the rest of the book would play out between Sarah and Marcus (the neighbours who were having an affair) I enjoyed the therapy notes and guessing how these would fit in to the rest of the story!
There were several great twists in this story that I didn't see coming and a great epilogue too.
Overall, it was an original and fast-paced thriller.

☆ Cowerworth is the picture-perfect neighbourhood.
☆ But in a quiet suburb, someone is always watching.
☆ And all eyes are on the couple who have just moved in.
I really enjoyed this book and looked forward to going home to read it every night. There are so many dark and deceitful characters, with crazy domestic going on, it's truly impossible to know who to trust. There are so many clever plot twists that I loved it all 💛 highly recommended.

Knock Knock by Michelle Teahan
The twists and turns in this book almost gave me whip lash.
Twist after twist.
Loved it and didn't want to put it down.
The first part of this book was a little slow for me personally but once it picked up it blew me away.
First time reading this author and it wont be the last.
What a read. Full of twists and turns. The storyline is smartly written and the suspense is carried thorughout the book. To the point, where nothing is too overly done. It does have a lot going on so you do have to pay attention to everything. I liked how it was a book that kept me at the edge of my seat.
When you think you have it figured out- be prepared to get shocked and shocked and shocked by the twists, turns and surprises in Knock, knock!
This book was such a fun read. The premise of the book had me interested and once I started reading I was hooked!
I think I was more shocked by the ending than I have been with any (or few other) thrillers ever.
Definitely worth the read and recommendation to other thriller readers!
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this phenomenal thriller!
I loved knock knock. It's one of those books that I got into straight away. The plotline is fantastic and i didnt want the book to end, it kept me up reading into the early hours of the morning. I really enjoyed getting to know all of the characters, especially Marcus and Sarah. A definite 5 star book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I loved this book! It was very fast paced and a lot of buildup and suspense. The wondering of what your neighbors are up to is an Interesting one because you never really know someone and what they are capable of
Thank you to NetGalley, to the author, and to the publisher for this complementary ARC in exchange for my honest review!!!
Such a great debut with well-developed characters, a superb plot, and lots of great suspense. I highly recommend and I look forward to reading more from this author..
A really well crafted book with lots of suspense,
good cast of characters
lots of tension with a
engaging plot.
very enjoyable
An incredible book with wonderful characters and a beautiful setting. It will keep you guessing until the end.
In all honesty this was going to be a 3 star read for me as for the most part it was okay, the plot was good but not spectacular and the characters were a bit weird. But then, Teahan throws in the most surprising twist, I was completely blown away and it completely changed the direction of the plot and everything that happened after. It turns out that this has an incredibly dark plot and once this is laid bare it is electrifying and left me speechless. There is so much more to this than I first thought and it turned into a shocking read.
Once the major twist happened I also warmed to the characters more as I could see they played their roles exceptionally well. Stick with this book and you will be rewarded.
Thank you to NetGalley and Headline for an advance copy.
Knock Knock is Michelle Teahan’s second novel which follows Sarah, a suburban housewife who has it all; big house, wealthy husband, doting son. Her best friend Maisie lives across the street in their elite four house estate, and their new neighbours Marcus and Gina are getting lots of attention since they moved in. Marcus is handsome, Maisie is besotted, and Sarah isn’t unaware of his longing glances in her direction.
I really enjoyed this book! At the start, I found it difficult to follow whose chapter I was reading but as I got further into the book it made a lot more sense as to why this was. I really enjoyed watching the story unfold and, like @sultanabun , I too found myself highly amused by the antics that took place. This book could absolutely be read in one sitting, whenever I had time to sit down and read it I really loved how I got lost in the story. I loved trying to figure out what was going on, who was who, what people’s intentions were etc.
It was my first book by Michelle Teahan and I’m looking forward to reading Go Seek in the future. This book was so much fun to read. I loved how nobody was who they seemed, and the twists were good - I was genuinely smiling at the end of this when things were wrapped up because I hadn’t been expecting what came to be! There were so many things that I never saw coming and I was very impressed with Michelle’s ability to throw me completely off the scent. A great book, a great summer read, and I’m sure there are more great things to come from Michelle!

Brilliant.
Cowerworth is the picture perfect neighbourhood.
Its manicured lawns and low crime rates make it the ideal place to raise a family. But in a quiet suburb, someone is always watching. And all eyes are on the couple who have just moved in. Marcus and Gina are everything you could want in neighbours: polite and friendly. They seem to be the perfect fit. Except Marcus has a secret. And you're his next victim.
It was brilliant.
Thanks to NetGalley and Headline for giving me an advance copy.
Tension Fuelled..
Is anything completely perfect? This neighbourhood certainly seems to be. We all know, however, that appearances can be deceptive and Cowerworth may well be a case in point. Watch your back. Well crafted, menacing suspense with a keenly observed cast of characters and an immersive, tension fuelled plot littered with twists.
This book was very different than the usual books that i have read. This book was very twisting and gripping. Very well written.
Marcus and Gina move to a pretty chill town Cowerworth. Right off the bat, the couple meets their new neighbors Sarah, Keith and their son Dillion. There is an immediate attraction between Marcus and Sarah which leads to a dangerous game of cat and mouse. Everyone has secrets and specifically Marcus has some mind-blowing revelations. No spoilers here, you have to read to find out more!
This storyline is very clever and keeps you hooked! Just as the story goes on the twist and turns will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Quick and entertaining read.
I really enjoyed this book and was gripped to the story immediately.....read the book within 24 hours which is always a great sign. I will definitely be looking out for more books from this author. Thank you to netgalley to letting me review this great book.
Another great read by Michelle Teahan, I couldn’t put it down needing to find out which psychopath came out on top.
