This six-book boxset will set your heart pounding with each book focusing on a member of the SEAL time facing the most challenging situation of all - falling in love.
This was a thoroughly engaging set that had me engrossed from start to finish. It was nice to have the whole set together so I could dive right into the next one once I was finished. Each story was action-packed and full of adventure, with just the right amount of snark and witty banter and feisty women that keep the tough men on their toes. Such a suspenseful, romantic set - I absolutely loved it!
I received a complimentary copy from NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.
Entertaining romance, military style. The SEALS all find a woman in need. The first story is by far the best, but they’re all interconnected which adds to the interest. The stories vary in length, with some seeming very short and others felt almost like a regular length novel. I’m a sucker for these types of stories, so I liked it.
This book is a perfect fit for romance readers who crave heart-pounding action, swoon-worthy heroes, and emotional journeys, as it offers a electrifying and sentimental six-book collection that explores the complexities of love, family, and protection.
Although my favorite of this boxset was SEAL’s Surprise Daughter, I really enjoyed the way all of the stories and characters interconnected with such a warm “family” feeling. SEAL Gabe Kelley learns that a woman, with whom he had once spent the night, has been murdered and that he has a daughter. As he awaits DNA testing, Gabe and Charlotte Rhodes, the woman taking care of his daughter, face threats from the man who may have murdered the baby’s mother. In Protecting my Brother’s Babies, Drake, who was Gabe’s commanding officer, must protect his twin brother’s ex, Layla, and the baby she is expecting. In Protecting his New Family, Owen, and his sister-in-law Sam, are co-guardians of their niece. When Sam is threatened, can Owen be the protection that she needs? In SEAL’s Convenient Marriage, Nate, Gabe’s best friend, learns that his baby brother is ill and has been adopted by Emily. Can he provide a home and security that Emily needs and maybe even love? In SEAL’s Christmas Daughter, Zach is reunited with Marissa, a woman he met almost ten years ago…and her nine-year-old daughter Lacy. Is Lacy his daughter? In SEAL’s Justice, Nataliya’s brother was murdered and someone is threatening her and her son. Can former SEAL, now FBI Agent Adrian Pierce, keep them safe? I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (paytonpuppy)
This was unfortunately a miss for me. I couldn't feel any connection to the characters and started to get bored as we were halfway thorough. The story felt dull and robotic and I wasn't able to enjoy it.
Thanks to the publisher for this ARC!
This book is about the Seals of team 4 and how they meet their women. The trials and tribulations that they have to go through to get to that happily over after, or is it? Guess you will have to read the books to see! Filled with action and suspense, ohhh and romance of course!
I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my. Thank you for allowing me to review
SEAL’s Surprise Daughter
This romantic suspense novel is both sweet and dramatic, with intense action and a compelling relationship between Charlotte and Gabe. Charlotte's determination and Gabe's protective nature make for a captivating story. The book explores deep emotional scars and features a mix of suspenseful and heartwarming family moments.
Protecting His Brother’s Babies
A tale of corporate greed and family drama, this story follows Drake and Lake as they uncover the mystery behind Devon’s death. The chemistry between the protagonists and the suspense elements keep the reader engaged, making it a fast-paced and thrilling read.
Protecting His New Family
An emotional story involving Owen and Sam, who take care of their nephew after the deaths of their siblings. The narrative includes family drama, a stalker, and professional threats. While the romantic connection between Owen and Sam feels lacking, the intrigue and emotional complexity make the story compelling.
SEAL’s Christmas Daughter
A second-chance romance between Zach and Marissa, whose separation and reunion are driven by serendipitous events and a big surprise. The suspense and sweet ending make this a satisfying read.
SEAL’s Convenient Marriage
This contemporary twist on a marriage of convenience involves military hero Nate, his brother Matthew, and Emily, whose independent nature and unrealistic dreams cause tension. Despite frustrations with Emily, the story is enjoyable and ends well.
SEAL’s Justice
The conclusion of the SEAL Team Four saga features Nataliya, a protective mother, and Adrian, whose initial heavy-handed approach softens as they unite to protect her son. Revisiting previous couples and the satisfying ending make this a strong finish to the series.
Best read as a complete set
This boxset includes six full-length romances, each focusing on a different couple, where each of the men were members of the same SEAL team. There's an on-going story that's only tangentially related to the first five romances, which builds the backstory and suspense. By the time you get to the last story, the romance comes about because of the events of the backstory and gives the reader a very satisfying conclusion to the entire investigation. These stories are spread out over a couple years, which gives us a chance to grow with the earlier couples as they make appearances in the later books.
There were a couple of these stories that were five-star worthy, but that was offset by a couple that were decidedly less so. I'm not going to delve into the specifics of each story; just know it's a mixed bag of heroes that are easy to root for along with men who are still reaching for that hero status.
I did enjoy the way each romance was given a solid HEA before moving on to the next couple, and I loved the way these team members interacted with and supported each other. Sibling death is a recurring theme in all but one of the stories, and all of them include a child or a pregnancy to complete the new family dynamics.
If you love reading about contemporary heroes and the women who love them, these stories were written with you in mind. As a boxset it's a terrific read and won't let you down. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Good stories. A bit repetitive, but enjoyable. Plenty of action and smut. I enjoyed watching the Seals of Team 4 find true love.
Thank you for the ARC!
DNF at fourth book! I did genuinely enjoy the first three books but after that it started to get repetitive and boring for me. Had I spaced out reading these, I would likely have continued with the series but for right now, I don't see myself finishing them in the near future.
I received an advanced reader's copy of SEAL Team Four (Six Complete Navy SEAL Romance Boxset) by Leslie North and Katie Knight from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Overall, I quite enjoyed the boxset and it made for a nice break on a busy weekend. The main characters/couples were each entertaining in their stories and I liked their story arcs. Six very different plots that were engaging from start to finish. The banter was witty, the chemistry between each couple was hot, and each novel was very well written!
I greatly enjoyed reading this series!
I love how they were all connected but could be read on their own if you choose.
Each couple brought a new story and all featured someone as a single parent.
Highly recommend!
I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.
The combination of SEAL stories put together here was endearing and a great quick read. I feel like I have read some of them already as standalone stories but I could be wrong.
If you like SEALs and a little spicy romance, this collection is for you.
SEAL Team Four is a book set of connecting stories. They flow smoothly from one to the next. It's a great book set to take on vacation Lots of reading all in one book.
