This book fell a little flat for me. It felt a little too much like the author was trying to cash in on the dystopian, nothing is as it seems, don't trust the government craze launched by Hunger Games and Maze Runner. It had the workings of a really good premise, I just really never got a feel for why the characters chose to do the things they did.

This is not the typical Baldacci book. It is more of a s I-fi fantasy book
It is sort of interesting but not as mesmering as his Memory Man books
Despite the change of pace in Baldacci usual writing, I found that I cared about the characters and wanted to see how everything would play out
