Burn Out is a fast paced, action packed thriller. If I wanted to be picky I could say that there could have been a little more plot but it didn't really matter because this book was so much fun. I loved all the science fiction aspects and thought the characters were great. Tora is a total spitfire and relatable. The romance was nuanced and not overstated which I really enjoyed. The book did end rather abruptly which took away a little from the book overall but in the end it mattered very little. I cannot wait to see where Kristi Helvig takes this story next.

I requested this one back in the day as I had every intention of reading it. However, its been years and I still haven't gotten around to it and while I feel guilty at not reviewing a book I think that I need to admit to myself that I won't be reading this one anytime soon....if at all.
