Romantic suspense - check. Favorite city - check. Alpha commando MMC - check. FMC that’s not a pushover - check. Fighting for Adalyn by Katie Reus is book 3 of her Redemption Harbor Security series. If you’re anything like me, it will seriously check all your boxes for what you want in a romance novel! The book starts with the two main characters overseas. During a mission gone wrong, harsh words are spoken that break them before they even have a chance at an HEA. Fast forward several years and now they are working on different teams for the same company. But when someone starts threatening Adalyn’s friends and family, Roman is the first one there to back her up. I love how strong Adalyn is and that instead of watching her break out of her shell, as is so common in many novels, we actually get to see her learn how to become vulnerable. It doesn’t hurt that the reward is one tall, dark, deadly, dangerous, dirty-talking, alpha commando. Roman will push all your buttons and the two of them together will burn up the sheets and having you hanging on for dear life as you race to find out what happens next. I utterly enjoyed this chapter of the Redemption Harbor Security series and I can’t wait to see where this new team goes next!

I really liked this book, as I have all the others by Ms. Reus. Not your typical heroine and a few plot twists kept things interesting. Wished it was a longer book so more time for development, but alas, can't have it all. Looking forward to the next in the series.

This is part of the Redemption Harbour Security series. (Which is amazing) However, you can definitely read this book as a stand-alone. Wow! I really loved this story. Adalyn and Rowan have a bit of a rocky start due to their past. The way the story flows is smooth and engaging and I felt like I was part of the group.

I was expecting something more from this book. Rowan and Adalyn had chemistry and they were good together but the events from the previous book made it seem that things would be more explosive between them. The book was good, that's the truth but something was missing and I expected more grovel on Rowan's part since he made a mess and accused Adalyn of some horrible stuff. There is a side story going about two secondary characters and that seemed out of the blue especially since they didn't have a chapter or two from their point of view. I don't see a novella about them and it certainly makes things weirder. The balance between the romance and the suspense was good, as it's the usual with Katie Reus and I do look forward towards the next book.

Love these Redemption Harbor guys and gals! If you want strong hero’s and heroines, suspense, action and hot romance these are the books for you! This is Adalyn and Rowan’s story. These books once started you can’t put down until finished!

I wasn't sure how I would feel about this book after the extreme animosity of these characters in the last book.

However, we have sort of fast forwarded through the revelations and are in the reconciliation/chase phase now. I liked how a lot of the book played out and how these characters moved forward.

Fighting for Adalyn reminded me why I loveeeee romantic suspense. It adds a layer of intrigue to a romance novel and keeps you guessing who the bad guy is. Adalyn and Rowan were spicy and I loved it. I liked that they were forced to overcome the past in order to move forward and it added an extra level to the story.

Wow what an action packed read!
It’s super fast paced, and all systems go from page 1. Rowan and Adalyn have a very fraught history due to Rowan believing that Adalyn caused death and destruction whilst they were both part of a previous military mission. Move forward to present day, and both Rowan and Adalyn are forced to work together on a new mission, where their relationship ignites with warp speed

During an overseas mission Adalyn and Rowan are working together when something goes horribly wrong and Rowan's team is killed . Fast forward Adalyn is out of the CIA and now works for Redemption Harbor Security . When her sister is in danger Adalyn rushed to her side, but soon Adalyn finds herself as the real target. With the help of the Redemption Harbor team and Rowan. Someone she hoped to never see again they will try to find who is behind the danger. This story is a suspenseful romance and definitely action packed . Would highly recommend.

Whoohoo, another one in the Redemption Harbor Security Series! After Hailey and Reese, we now meet Adalyn and Rowan (from the Redemption Harbor Series). Aaaaanddd the Red Stone Security Team will also make an appearance! Yay!

So, of course, you can read it as a standalone, but treat yourself and read the whole series 🙂

In Fighting for Reese, we had already met Adalyn and their underlying tension was already there. In this book, you will understand why Rowan didn’t want to team up with Adalyn and why Adalyn feels guilty.

True to Katie, suspense will be around every corner. Hopefully she will give us another part in this series. Five out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalleyfor providing the arc.

This is the 3rd book (of 4) in the Redemption Harbor
Security Series

Adalyn meets Rowan on a military base and unfortunately her bad intel from a source gets his Team killed while he was not with them due to injury.
He blames her for his teams death and whatever hope he had of falling in love with her ceases to exist

They both end of working for RHS and after a mission, of rescuing a couple of kidnapped girls; Adalyn gets a call from her sister in New Orleans saying her roommate has been killed. She gets back on plan and heads back home to be with her. She then gets contacted by someone threatening her and her love ones and how no one in New Orleans is safe.

The book gives you tons of action; plenty of sexual tension and hope that walls can be broken down and love can prevail

This book can be read as a standalone and I will absolutely go back to read the others!!

I enjoyed this book, but I didn't love it. If a reader has not read the previous book in the series they would lack some of tensions between Adayln and Rowan that is important to the build up in their relationship. I felt like the plot moved well, if somewhat predictable, but the relationship felt forced and moved way too quick, almost like it was an after thought.

As a CIA operative working with the military, Adalyn became friends with Rowan and his team of marines. After a bad bit of intel gets them killed, Rowan blames her and she's lived with his hatred and her own guilt and grief ever since. She risked everything to get revenge on her source. Now she's working for Redemption Harbor Security too, although in a different division than Rowan. But when everything she loves is threatened by an unknown bomber, Rowan drops everything to help her, claiming that it was his grief that made him blame her. But how can she trust his feelings have changed when she can't even forgive herself?
You could just feel the tension between these two in the last book, so I knew they would get their own story. Rowan did a complete emotional turnaround and became so patient and protective of her. I was laughing at their childish and petty bickering in Fighting for Reese, but Rowan really changed. I also liked the mystery party of the story with some of the characters of previous books helping solve the case and save New Orleans from a madman. Looking forward to the next book in the series!

I loved this book so much!! What a great series! Full of action, suspense, tension, and love, just like romantic suspense should be. Adalyn finds herself working with Rowan on a case that is way too close to home, They figure out how to work together even with all the tension between them because of the past and the obvious attraction. This story has wonderful characters, and amazing writing by one of the queens of romantic suspense, Love this series so much!!!

This is a great read and it's quick so on the beach, on your porch, or at the pool this would be an excellent way to escape just for a little while. You've got you mix of action, and adventure and let's not forget the steamy romance. This book has it all.

I loved this suspenseful romance with Rowan and Adalyn. It was a pleasure to read, very well written. It as filled with danger, steamy scenes, family interactions and a wonderful mutt named Gumbo. I would definitely recommend this book and series.

This was a great romantic suspense. It was short, well laid out, and well written. I would have liked a bit more focus on the romance, but otherwise a really great and entertaining read!

I loved this redemption romance story! Adalyn and Rowan have to battle the ways they hurt each other in the past and a twisted killer on their way to admitting their feelings. Throughout this wild ride, the self talk is often hilarious, the friends are loyal, and Gumbo works his way into Adalyn’s heart.

Umm, yes please!! This was soo good! Plot was entertaining and kept thing’s moving along nicely. A little spice here and there was nice too. All in all, a great book.
